  1. Re: Bundesliga > April 4th - 6th I think Hoffenheim should win tomorrow. I mean, the team that goes to Leverkusen and win (2-3) and the following week travels to Bayern and drew (3-3) deserve some respect. Hertha's record at home is not good (5-2-7). In the last 5 home games they managed to take just one point. Like Frazer said Hoffenheim are an attacking minded team and we should see goals in this one. My bet: Hoffenheim to score 2 or more goals Evens (PaddyPower)

  2. Re: Manchester United v Aston Villa > Saturday March 29th United's price to win is way too short for me as this match can go either way. Aston Villa are hungry for points and as most of the teams did - they will come to Old Trafford to get all 3 points. I see this one as a high scoring contest. 3-3 or 4-4 it wouldn't surprise me at all. Moyes got two main problems: he has no clue when it comes to choose the best team for us and he apologises too f..king much.

  3. Re: France Ligue 2 (4-10 March 2014)

I never bet unders in anything' date=' just not a bet I like to take. I've been stung many times when a match should've ended 0-0 but somehow 3 chances were created and all scored. I much rather stick to overs and team bets[/quote'] I couldn't agree more !!! I rather wait for goals (even if it's 0-0 at half time) than have my bet lost by half time. That's why I like French football - most of the times you get much better odds for overs than in England, Germany, Holland and even Italy.
  4. Re: Ligue 2 > February 28th - March 3rd Meatman, hats off mate !!! Angers's to go over 1,5 goals and Caen to score 2 or more goals gave me some good profit tonight. I knew Caen would score but to be honest - didn't expect to score 2 goals in 2 mins... that was my last match of my treble. BTW, what a time for Clermont to score, ha !!! Huge price for both to score...I think it was 11/10... Thanks for your tips...I always go for the goals... Really good prices for overs in France... Thank you !!!

  5. Re: Ligue 2 > January 31st - February 3rd

Chateauroux – Auxerre Neither team is affected by absentees much. The hosts still have midfielder Ludovic Guerriero injured, whilst striker Kevin Dupuis is suspended but apart from these losses they are at full strength. Auxerre have of course lost star attacker PG Ntep to Rennes and this is a massive blow. He has virtually been their whole offence this year so some other players are going to have to step up. AJA have no new injuries to contend with though and their squad is generally in good condition. New loanee from Rennes Zana Allee isn’t registered in time for this match. Chateauroux haven’t started 2014 very well and have lost all 3 games, conceding 9 goals in the process. But this is a case of where statistics don’t really tell the full story. They’ve been competing pretty well in matches, they definitely should’ve won at Creteil and the 5-2 defeat against Tours last Saturday was a slight false reflection of the match. They lost to Angers at home a couple of weeks ago, but on another day might’ve easily drawn and they played ok. Le Berrichonne are very strong in front of their own fans and they love playing on their own artificial pitch. For a team who are 2nd bottom their home record is fairly good, only strong teams like Caen, Tours and Angers have won here this season. New manager JL Garcia has won 3 out of 4 at Le Stade Gaston Petit. Both of these teams have one thing in common – neither has won an away match yet this season. The good news for Chateauroux is that they aren’t on the road tonight but for Auxerre it could spell trouble. I don’t think they’ve played as badly away from home as their stats suggest, but nevertheless it can’t be no fluke that they’ve yet to pick up 3 points on their travels. Clearly Bernard Casoni’s men aren’t comfortable on the road and they’ll also have to adapt to the artificial surface tonight which could be difficult. Auxerre are also heading into this match on the back of an emotional loss against Lens on Monday night, so both physically and mentally they’ve had less time to recover. For me, backing Chateauroux on this 0AH line is a no brainer really, it looks a pretty safe option considering their usual home strength and Auxerre’s road woes. Prediction: Chateauroux 1-0 Auxerre Recommended bet: Chateauroux 0AH @ 1.82 5/10 There are no other picks that I recommend tonight in French football. Below are my match predictions. Unless prices change in the next few hours I’ll remain with one bet tonight. It’s just one of those days where the bookies seem absolutely spot on with their lines unfortunately. Angers 2-1 CA Bastia Caen 1-1 Troyes Clermont 0-0 Arles Dijon 1-0 Brest Istres 2-2 Creteil Nimes 1-1 Tours Niort 1-1 Metz PSG 2-0 Bordeaux
A big Thank You to Meatman... A couple of over 1,5 goals came in and Chateauroux Draw No Bet at @8/11 is good enough for me. Good profit this week. :beer
  6. Re: Ligue 2 > January 17th - 20th

Clermont – Le Havre Clermont are in exactly the same position as last week and name the same squad that drew 2-2 away at Troyes. Right back Anthony Lippini is still suspended and their only injury is to the long term Pierrick Cappelle. They have finally sold striker Mana Dembele to Guingamp for about £500k which in many ways will be a relief to everyone at the club. Dembele has just been a distraction all season and his recent long suspension didn’t help matters either. Le Havre miss DM Distel Zola to suspension, although JP Fontaine won’t be the worst of replacements. Upfront, Yohann Riviere remains injured, and he’s joined on the sidelines by Moussa Sao. Le Havre do lack offensive depth because they’ve also now sold Riyad Mahrez to Leicester City. Mickael Le Bihan will continue to lead the line upfront. He’s been good form of late but he’s not a natural striker and more suited to the right wing. They key thing to work out about this game is to decide exactly what sort of level Le Havre are at right now. For the most part of the season they’ve been a major disappointment and not played very well. But then something clicked just before the winter break and they went on a 3 game winning streak. However, one of those wins was against Creteil, who are awful and another facing Auxerre just a couple of days after an intense cup match. Their win at Troyes was a good well fought result, but on recent form Troyes are nothing special. Clermont themselves could’ve easily walked away with 3 points against them last week and can take plenty of confidence out of the fact that they created loads of chances. Clermont are unbeaten at home this season, in total they won 5 and drawn 5 at Le Stade Gabriel Montpied. The Auvergne side have the 3rd best home defensive record and there’s no doubt they are a tough nut to crack in front of their own fans. I’m certainly not saying that Clermont will win this match easily, but I think they have to be backed @ this sort of price. An asian line of 0 DNB is pretty generous and at the very least they should be able to keep their unbeaten home run going. Plus, they looked pretty good to me last week so should be full of confidence even if they did concede late and fail to win. There’s no doubt Le Havre have improved of late but I need to see more of them in less favourable situation before I’m confident that they are a force to be reckoned with again. So yeh, I’m going to have a 5 unit play on the hosts and it should be a fairly safe bet. Havre have only won once on their travels this season and the chances of this bet losing outright aren’t very high. Prediction: Clermont 1-0 Le Havre Recommended bet: Clermont 0AH @ 1.86 5/10
I think this is quite a good bet. In the last 5 matches between them Le Havre managed to take just point.
  7. Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Wednesday January 1st I reckon some games will be postponed today because of the weather. The forecast in the North West: "A few showers at first, but becoming increasingly wet and windy from late morning as outbreaks of rain spread in from the south. This rain is likely to turn heavy and persistent in places, with gales affecting coastal areas." It's better to wait to see which games will be affected in League 1 and League 2.

  8. Re: Liverpool v Hull City > Wednesday January 1st Liverpool have conceded a goal in 4 of their last 5 home games. Cardiff, West Ham, West Brom and Norwich have all scored away to Liverpool and by the end of the day I think Hull will be on this list as well. Steve Bruce will most likely play with the same team that trashed Fulham and they are full of confidence atm. Liverpool v Hull - both teams to score @4/5 [PaddyPower]

  9. Re: Fulham v Manchester City > Saturday December 21st Last time when Man City kept a clean sheet against Fulham at Craven Cottage was back in December 2002. Since then both teams have scored. I expect Rene to do a good job at Fulham and guide them to safety this season. His first win was at home against Aston Villa and then they lost away to high-flying Everton which is no shame by any means. With Berbatov back in form I think Fulham can score at least one goal. Fulham v Man City - both teams to score @8/13 [PaddyPower]

  10. Re: Sunderland v Norwich City > Saturday December 21st Sunderland to win @21/20 [PaddyPower] I think this can be the bet of the weekend. Sunderland started to play good football under Poyet and the win over Chelsea in the Cup was a big achievement. Sunderland at home have the same record as Norwich away 2-0-6. Sunderland need to start getting some points as they are the last in the table with only 9 points. After the win over Chelsea I think Sunderland can build on that and get the three points against Norwich. I will come back with the injuries and suspensions for both teams later on.

  11. Re: Ligue 2 > December 19th - 21st We all know how hard is to predict a football match these days and especially to get some really good odds and actually win it. All of us should be thankful for somebody who spends so much time to write this amazing tips and predictions for FREE. Last night the bookies had the last laugh... Meatman, let's get back to them tonight !!! ;)

  12. Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Dec 16-19

TV preview: 3pts Grimsby to beat Kidderminster 11/8 Bet365 Momentum tends to be a big thing around this time of the season and it is Grimsby who have that and I think they’ll win this match. They have goals in them which is always a help but they are good at keeping them out which could be the bigger thing here. Kidderminster have suddenly begun to concede goals at a pretty big rate and without Morgan-Smith and with Joe Lolley possibly on the verge of a move away goals may not come as frequently. Throw home advantage into the mix and Grimsby can get a vital win here. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/grimsby-vs-kidderminster-betting-mariners-can-claim-a-huge-victory-in-crunch-thursday-night-clash
I totally agree with you. One thing you left out: Kidderminster have lost this season all 5 matches against teams that are now in the top 7. Does anybody know how the weather will be like at the kick off ???
  13. Re: Ligue 2 > December 19th - 21st

I'm staking 10/10 but it doesn't mean anyone should put their mortgage on it. Basically this is the same as two 5/10 bets. In proper stake management you should never stake more than 10/10. But obviously I'm pretty confident. If the bet loses I know 110% I got insane value so I would have no regrets. I also considered backing the overs and I wouldn't want to put anyone off backing over 2.25 or 2.5 line
Over 2,5 goals is now @Evens with PaddyPower but @21/20 is available with Bet365. I definitely will have some of that !!!
  14. Re: Aston Villa v Manchester United > Sunday December 15th

One thing is for certain - Young will NOT be in the squad after his dismal showing the other night and today's revelations that he deliberately cheats Rio out too after showing he's lost his ability to make decisions (or rather found an ability to make stupid decisions and puts the team at risk) RVP rested again midweek so should start and we welcome the return of Vida at the back \0/ Jonesy to carry on in midfield after his immense performance against Shakhtar but I really hope Carrick is back soon - vital player IMO Rafa showed what we have missed at right back when Smalling was there and teamed up well with Adnan - I like Adnan on the right - on the left he gets forced towards the corner but on the right has the skill to cut inside and get in the box - no doubt he'll get kicked in the air a few times but the kid gets up and carries on - not like the muppets that roll around if you breathe on them (stand up Mr Suarez) Vlaar is a big miss for Villa and Benteke seems out of sorts since his injury (maybe rushed back too soon) - United should take advantage Normally goals in this fixture so going for Over 2.5 @1.91 Corals and Hills
I totally agree with you. We should see goals in this one.
  15. Re: Manchester United v Shakhtar Donetsk > Tuesday December 10th

That was a dire first half - Rio showing yet again he's not at this level anymore - Young should be in the bargain bin instead of the shop window :wall We look in trouble every time they run at the centre of our defence Get Nani on for that mug Young - lost count of the times I've shouted "You f*****g DONKEY" at the screen Supporting United has never been so stressful :( This is another accident waiting to happen
Summer must be very busy time for Moyes...if he lasts this long... at least 5 players must go
  16. Re: Manchester United v Shakhtar Donetsk > Tuesday December 10th United need to win this game. Moyes needs to win this game... Another poor performance and we are in deep, deep trouble. United must win it to avoid the likes of Barcelona, both Madrid's teams and Bayern. Regardless what Moyes said that we still have a chance to win the PL - we've been out of that race since Moyes took over. Shakhtar Donetsk come to Old Trafford to win and I see an open game tonight and hopefully some goals. RVP won't start but he will come on in the 2nd half. I'm going for 3-1 or 4-2 for United. Also, I think there will be some goals in Bayern v Man City and Plzen v CSKA so I went for a treble: United v Shakhtar - over 3,5 goals @2/1 [PaddyPower] Bayern v Man City - over 3,5 goals @11/10 [PaddyPower] Plzen v CSKA - over 3,5 goals @2/1 [PaddyPower] Final odds: 18/1

  17. Re: West Bromwich Albion V Manchester City > Wednesday 4th December

West Brom can be difficult to beat at home but they are no match for the world beaters from the Etihad. With the likes of Aguero and Negredo firing on all cylinders, this is likely to be a very comprehensive away victory for the blue side of Manchester. City really appear to have turned the corner under their new boss and are starting to string some excellent results and performances together. Current prices look generous to me for an away win and will be backed accordingly. Selection: Away win at 4/6 (Betfair)
"the world beaters from the Etihad" - It's only 6:40 in the morning and you made my day with this comment... :lol:rollin:lol
