  1. Re: Liverpool v Arsenal > 3rd March I think winning the Carling Cup will work like a boost for Liverpool. Also, coming back from 2-0 down to win 5-2 will give Arsenal some good confidence. We all agree that both teams to score will be a fact in this one. I got a feeling that will be at least 3 goals in the match and I really fancy a 2-2 final score. Got the same feeling last night when I went to my bookies and place a bet on England v Holland - over 3,5 goals - 3/1 Coral...too bad I lost Germany ..lol

  2. Re: Man Utd v Liverpool > Sat 11 Feb

Just a rookie football punter, so don't give this too much weight, BUT........ Over 2.5 goals at 2.02 (Betfair) looks good value to me. Man Utd have played 5 of the top 6 teams around them this season, and all but one have finished with 3 goals or more. Goals in these matces were Spurs (8), Arsenal (10!) Man City (7!) and Chelsea (4). The one game were there were fewer than 2.5 goals was v Newcastle (2). The united defence continues to leak goals, due to injury and personel problems, so their approach will be "We'll score more than you". Liverpool will try to absorb the pressure and hit them on the break, but if they concede a goal early on the game willbecome open and the 3 goal margin will be exceeded easily,IMO. Feel free to criticise/ignore!
When did you get this odds ??? On Monday morning I had a look at the odds for over 2,5 goals (PaddyPower) and was 4/5 and it hasn't changed.
  3. Re: Spain - La Liga - 14-15 January Osasuna v Racing Santander - over 2,5 goals @5/4 (Coral) I am not sure Osasuna will keep a clean sheet in this one...last two home games ended 2-1 against Villarreal and Betis Sevilla and in the last 4 away games Racing have scored in 3 of them and a boring 0-0 against Granada. (Sevilla v Racing 2-2, Mallorca v Racing 2-1 and Bilbao v Racing 1-1). You don't know what to expect out of those teams at the bottom of the table and Racing is on the 17th place at the moment, just one point above Villarreal on the 18th (3rd of the bottom). Also I will go for Sporting Gijon v Malaga - over 2,5 goals @6/5 (Coral) simply because of the results in the last 4 games. Gijon v Espanyol 1-2 Valencia v Malaga 2-0 Gijon v Real Madrid 0-3 Sociedad v Malaga 3-2 Gijon v Getafe 2-1 Racing v Malaga 1-3 Gijon v Bilbao 1-1 Sevilla v Malaga 0-0 Both teams can score and probably Malaga will win it... :hope:hope:hope

  4. Re: Italy - Serie A - 17-18 December Don't blame Zlatan... In the end of the day everybody can put whatever they want in their posts and you should decide if you wanna follow it or not... But I learned something in the last 5 years of betting experience - THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS 100% SURE. By the way, that price for Fiorentina to win looks tasty... shall I take it??? :unsure

  5. Re: England > Weekend > Barclays Premier League > 17-18 December

Hi guys, first day posting on here, here's my views on the weekends games ;) All odds posted will be courtesy of bet365. Blackburn vs West Brom - Blackburn really need to start picking up points and currently sit in 19th place, losing five of their seven games at home. West Brom are in 15th but are always capable of giving teams a good game andI think they're better than their league positions says. I fancy West Brom to pile more pressure on Steve Kean and Blackburn, in a tight game. My recommended tips are West Brom @ 3.00 and a correct score of Blackburn 0-1 West Brom @ 11.00 I expect many goals here...something like 2-2. But thats just me and I've been wrong before. :\
  6. 7. Re: England » Npower Football League One » Oct 22

Sheffield Wednesday 1.91 Pinnacle 5/10 Nice odds for Wednesday...in the meantime they seem to be one of the strong teams in this league. They are strong at home and score many goals. Since there aren´t to many signs that their form is on the drop it´s still worth backing them. Colchester can be stubborn opposition and has played many draws but vs. strong opposition they tend to lose (Sheffield Utd, Charlton, Huddersfield, the away win at the start of the season at Preston was exceptional). And Wednesday should be one of these strong teams...I´m sure that odds will drop until Saturday.
I agree. Colchester might go into this game without all three senior centre-halves.

    maximize.gifBolton Wanderers v Sunderland
I think Sunderland can nick this game. Bolton have been poor at home losing all 4 games... 1-5 to chelsea, 1-2 to norwich, 0-5 to manu, 2-3 to mancity conceding 15 goals in the process. Granted you can say Sunderlands away form isnt much better... but a 1-1 draw at Anfield and a narrow 2-1 defeat at Arsenal, where they actually played very well, gives plenty of reasons for optimism. With Bendtner and Bardsley returning and given Boltons home record the value def stands out for a Sunderland win at the prices. Sunderland to beat Bolton 5/2 Bet365 Gl all
Yeah, Bolton have been poor at home so far but I think that will change. Will be the same side that beat Wigan last week.
  9. Re: UEFA Champions League > 27 September This is a good bet: Nani to score anytime 6/4 with Paddy Power. Without Rooney and Hernandez I think the wings will play a big part tonight against Basel. Nani, Valencia and Park are all in a fantastic form and they should share a couple of goals in between them... Nani will be too fast for the Basel's defense.:hope
