Re: The Micros - This is good! Definitely not as good as the 1st one. But it was basically always going to be impossible since they used up every good 2p2/poker joke in that. This seemed to suffer from being too short - these 8 mins would have been fine if it was a set up to them actually being at the Aussie Millions/rehab etc. rather than it's own episode. Guess that's coming in Episode 3 though.

Re: 2011 Heads Up Cash Tried to download HEM onto my temporary laptop last night but couldn't get it working. Played some HU $50NL anyway, and I have to say, while I find it difficult to play MTTs without a HUD, I had no problems whatsoever doing this. Won about 4 buy-ins, going to be difficult to update completely accurately until I get a new laptop/HUD working, but the temporary break is over. At least until I sort out this MTT staking deal ;)

Re: 2011 Heads Up Cash In direct response to your question, I think it's pretty obvious that there have been discipline issues in my play - I can get bored quite easily once I feel like I've figured out how to beat a particular game (sometimes I have figured it out, sometimes I've run good, sometimes I've played bad, and sometimes I've run bad). Finally, if it was easy to complete, it wouldn't be much of a challenge ;)

Re: 2011 Heads Up Cash Also, I must say I've realised this week how important my HUD is to my play, since I've been HUDless, messing about in smaller stakes stuff on another laptop I've felt like a fish (and had results to match).

:lol In my defence, my laptop has blown up, killing my HEM. I'm also talking to a couple of potential backers about a long term MTT staking deal and going on holiday next month. Add in the Nottingham UKIPT and that's why it's not been (and will continue to not be) so brief :ok Just messing about (HEM/HUDless) in small stakes stuff at the moment.Ahem ........... ;) -

Re: Full Tilt - Multi-Entry Tournaments I'm not sure if this is terrible or brilliant. As Nade says it could leads to people going broke quicker. On the other hand it could lead to fish playing even worse, similar to how they play in regular rebuys.

Re: 2011 Heads Up Cash Frustrating day today. Didn't get the chance to play as many hands, didn't find as many uber-fish, didn't play a well, and didn't run as well. Of course, days like this are to be expected - if I could just show up and win 10 buy-ins per day while only play a couple of thousand hands then I'd already quit my job and made my $100k :lol On the positive side I felt I kept my discipline, quit good players, and was only slightly down depite what I think was about the worst day I can possibly have employing these tactics (aside from variance - obviously I'll have a day like this where I also run terribly) I've uploaded the daily graph, I think I'll continue to do this every day, and then add a weekly one at the end of every Saturday.

Re: 2011 Heads Up Cash I've mostly been playing 2, did try 4 at one stage against 3 opponents + that was the limit of what I could do. I think 2 tables is probably best.

Re: 2011 Heads Up Cash Managed to lose the majority of those 4 buy-ins pretty quickly, but since then up around $750. Obviously not gonna hit the $5k Jan target, but still a good end to the month anyway. Not in any hurry to get my HUD working now anyway as my play hasn't really suffered, which sadly means a lack of graphs at the current time.
