  1. Newinn & Tenpin both qualified in 2nd place from tonight's second round
  2. Malawi finished 2nd again yesterday in first time blinkers Beaten by a well backed newcomer but finished clear of the rest, and as said above needs a step up in trip
  3. This years final pre tournament odds were: 200-1 [Krejcikova] & 250-1 Pavlyuchenkova!
  4. Ariel qualified from round two tonight, but only in 3rd and needs to improve
  5. a non runner meant 7 places, and he obviously finished 3rd! Looked like the horse did not handle the track but was staying on well, and his day will come
  6. Forever William runs in a handicap tomorrow at Sandown (4.30) and is up in trip. Already on each way at 13-2, current odds of 11-2
  7. Went off 2nd favourite but unplaced
  8. Good effort to get to the semi’s...but a golden chance missed!
  9. Emporio will be odds on tomorrow at Listowel to finally get his first win, currently 8-15
  10. Tenpin though 2nd at odds on tonight has qualified ,and needs to trap better But this competition is a marathon not a sprint
  11. Derab will try and win a French classic tomorrow [3pm] Big ask but will be a each way price, 12-1 at the moment with 4 places
  12. yes over 10f Santa would have won in my opinion!
  13. Ariel Qualified in 2nd last night, though at 8-11 more was expected
  14. Newinn Won his first round heat tonight comfortably enough @ 4-11
  15. Starts tonight at Towcester [6.42] Not expecting too many shocks and have the played the following outright [First two from Ireland and one for the locals] Newinn Session @ 20-1 Betfred Ballymac Aeriel @ 20-1 Betfred Tenpin @ 33-1 Coral Any opinions?
  16. US Woman Open starts today at 3pm Yu is far too short at 150-1! Think the cream will rise to the top and have backed the Korean girl: Jin Young Ko Each Way @ 14-1 [6 places] Paddy Power
  17. Update Duke of Edinburgh handicap on the Friday is the Royal target if Flyin Solo gets in
  18. appears very likely now that the Irish colt will go to Royal Ascot instead
  19. Knocked out first round in a 5 setter
  20. Sir Lamorak did not run in a Derby trial due to the soft ground, but is still in the big race on Saturday If declared the current 33-1 even though Moore will not ride looks tempting
  21. The Fav had every chance but got nailed on the line, looks a 2 miler Mitigated though had trouble in running disappointed but on the plus side his handicap mark now should be nice
  22. Malawi & Mitigated Risk run in the same maiden tomorrow (2.55 Navan) The O‘Brien horse already been smashed into 4-6 and obviously should win easily. The Weld colt goes up in trip and wears blinkers and will be a each way price around 10-1, so a better run than last time can be expected
  23. Also think with no dominant player in the women's game, its worth chancing an outsider or two in the Grand Slams this year
  24. Agree clay form this season not great, but in defeats to Gauff, Muchova & Kvitova she lost the first set each time before taking each match to a deciding set. Needs to avoid those slow starts for sure
