Re: Darts: StanJames World Matchplay 2008 Im going to go vs the flow today on majority of the games in todays afternoon session jenkins v priestley jenkins looked to be almost back to his old self of 12months ago with 92.5av and taking out 160,127,120 checkouts my bet of the day is terry jenkins to win part v tabern tabern is really on a roll of these past few months, but john part still has that extra level, failed to find it at times vs mason but then it could be down to the fact he was strolling the match. as when he had to produce a 140-180 or a double he usually ended up pulling it out the bag. im going no bet for this one but if i was pushed to bet i would say part is terrific value which could at least be traded lower on betfair in the early stages. i cant get on the neccessary sites at work (as blocked) but i think best bet here maybe the overs/unders bet and betting on overs as personally i see this going 13-11 13-10 and no bigger win margin van gerwen v mardle this going be real great match up i must say may have butchers on the 180s market later on, but i personally feel van gerwen has had his big win of the tourney he doesnt tend to go deep and he is very inconsistant, i hope this isnt the case as i like mvg! mardle was coasting the other day then almost out. yes he got lucky. but he still had win that leg and hold just to be level. from that dart which he went 9-10 behind he was strong as ever! my bet wayne mardle to win

Re: With 1.5 - this thread stays alive i personally think looking for safe 1.5 is harder than it looks. obviously if you have wide range of vast knowledge in about 10sports then you maybe fine but lets face it even knowledge doesnt even get you results 100% of the time. if i was you i'd try and keep it solid and soon as footy comes along in 3-4weeks time you will probably find it much easier i do personally like tennis around this time of year but then theres few tourneys come up in next 2-3weeks which players may have one eye on so then leaves you cricket which cant always be dead certs etc.... good luck in whatever you choose but remember this is your glory hunt and no one elses so go with what you feel is right mate!

Re: ATP Bastad/Gstaad/Newport/Stuttgart & WTA Budapest/Palermo 7th-13th July 2/2 today i backed berdych at the start his match to win 2-0 set 1.9 1st went tie break but that went smoothly then he steamed through the 2nd :) by way mr i, i got neimenen at 1.76 i think it was and traded tonight at 1.62 so bit of percution but a free bet as well so cant lose better to be safe than sorry

Re: £10 to something..., backing total goals good luck prince :hope i personally think the +1 goal is very good option as long as you dont get greedy i.e when you start say 20£ work your way to £100 bank some then start with say 80 aim for 150 then bank say 30 etc.... i know 0-0 come along often mr a, but so do 50.0 horse winners on a daily basis as you know its about avoiding these and doing research not just backing the next race / match to try and make another profit

Re: ATP Bastad/Gstaad/Newport/Stuttgart & WTA Budapest/Palermo 7th-13th July such bad day for me everything i touched went wrong n then i made mistakes on top those what didnt help 1st lost with becker backed dancevic to win 2-0 went 1-0 but felt he win so had big bet on him at 2.8 to win the match about game into 2nd set he then got broke by dent to make it 5-4 dent and serving for match dent won every service before then like 40 - 15 or 40-0 so thought game set match, so went on dent at 1.12 to get little bit of stake back on betfair meaning got money back if dancevic won and lost .... if dent wont went for wash before going out came back 10mins later expecting to find dent had won to find 1.01 on dancevic this is obviously good news till i found i left a lay of dancevic at 1.8 (when i 1st put bet on at 2.8) to least get my stake back so then i was green on a dead dent and red on danvic.. made it worse i backed lancs later on as well ----------------------------------------------------------------------- i've gone for niemenen today at around 1.74 is this good selection? i will leave it regardless but not gone big today lol, saving it for the darts now

It was his first match since Feb. 2006. He lost his 1st round match to Cecil Mamiit 6-3 6-7 6-4. thats all i got of wikpedia also dancevic looked 1/2 decent in wimbledon thats all im basing it on but im not tennis stato or nothing

Re: Darts: Las Vegas Desert Classic VII wow had mixed days on this so far day 1 - bad but then recovered somehow with big bet on roland scholten day 2 - gold dust, picked every winner day 3 - going smoothly till jenks lost which put me even for the night, i then backed taylor -5.5 and had chances to break whilst 4-1 up but missed 5darts then i lumped on barney -3.5 to regain that loss, well barney was about 3-3 so i backed him i.r at 2.4 as tabern about to go 4-3 up then barney missed about 6 or 7 darts win leg only to give up his throw leg after my loses all came to two barney legs when if he broke n held i would been very tidy profit in the end i got slaughtered big time lol
