Re: My Betting Diary :welcome 2nd of all intresting read this is (well for me anyways) i enjoy seeing what/how other punters are betting/have been betting on villa should win tonight but have noticed they dont seem to do to well at home in uefa cup/intertoto cup so far, usually the pressure is off, much like tonight. villa on 6pts and virtually qualified if they havnt already. they should really go for the win to ensure top spot (so they play 3rd place team next round) i do like the barry anytime scorer though :) good luck sir and luck forward to your next post

Re: Darts: World Grand Prix 2008 tournement score day 1 +8.33 day 2 -5.00 day 3 +5.40 day 4 +9.45 day 5 +15.80 day 6 no bet (alton towers for the day) day 7 -10 total +23.95 nice tidy sum, as kev said barney had chances for pair our bets. he take on of those darts im looking at being around +42 but it wasnt to be hope you all had go succesful tournements and most of all enjoyed the darts see you soon

Re: Darts: World Grand Prix 2008 10pts Raymond van Barneveld v Phil Taylor - RVB +3.5 sets 5/6 personally i think taylor will win but it will be considerably closer than a lot think it will be, as long barney gets of to good start and hits majority of his starting doubles he should cover this bet been pretty good tournement for myself so i will leave this as my only bet for the night tournement score day 1 +8.33 day 2 -5.00 day 3 +5.40 day 4 +9.45 day 5 +15.80 day 6 no bet (alton towers for the day) day 7 ? total +33.95

Re: Darts: World Grand Prix 2008 10pts Raymond van Barneveld v Colin Lloyd - Barney -1.5 @ 8/13 (blue sq) barney looks to regained full form, lloyd played average the other night and the match my taken alot out of him mentally as well as physically 10pts Meryvn King v Dennis Priestley - Over 5.5 sets @ 10/11 (blue sq) think this could be tight match up cant see it being a white wash either way was would mean i would only need the loser to pick up 2sets. looks good price with the outcome on this im expecting 4-3 or 4-2 in this match rather than a thrashing as both players tend to drift in and out of games hit brillance then the next leg looking like average pub player tournement score day 1 +8.33 day 2 -5.00 day 3 +5.40 day 4 +9.45 total +18.15

Re: Darts: World Grand Prix 2008 10pts John Part v Jacko Barry - John Part to win @ 2/9 not great odds for on here, but i believe this is one of the biggest certs of the year, jacko has had his big stage. he struggled through whilst john part came through playing good darts 10pts John Part v Jacko Barry - under 5 180s @ 8/11 barry not prolific 180 scorer, cant see part hitting 4 of them to make it possible, part seems to play average in these games in leaving some in the tank for when he needs it which also helps us tournement score day 1 +8.33 day 2 -5.00 day 3 + 5.40 day 4 total +8.70

Re: Darts: World Grand Prix 2008
wow, the luck was certainly with you last night. Not getting much change out of the deciding sets so far this week. Lloyd 4/5 pp 10 pts Not the easiest to call between Painter and Lloyd. However i just feel that the benefit of a win for Lloyd in the first round of a Tv event for the first time in a while, cannot be underestimated. Out of all the players on the circuit, LLoyd is a massive confidence player and he should take some confidence from beating the inform Voort. It is not as though he hasnt been playing badly in 2008, afterall he has won 3 times on the floor and reached lots of q/f, semis and finals (including one Tv final.) Indeed it was only last weekend when he reached the q/fs both days of the players events. In Painter he faces a tough opponent who has some fair form in 2008 so it should be a good contest between the two but with the benefit of a win, i take Lloyd, who has such a good record in this event, to win this. Priestley 4/5 var 10 pts Im already on priestley so effectively going on him again but I do think that this is a good opportunity for him to progress to the q/f. Priestley is a form player on the circuit and did what he had to go do when winning in round 1. Mardle too had an easy first round game but Priestley is a big step up on that and wont be anywhere near so easy and the man from yorkshire is understandly fav for this imo. They have met before in this and Priestley's style, a factor which can never been underestimated, drove Mardle mad and he simply could not cope. I can see a similar scenario tonight, Priestley for me. -
Re: Darts: World Grand Prix 2008 majority of the favourites won yesterday so im treading with a bit of precaution for tonight 10pts Raymond Van Barneveld v Adrian Lewis - Rvb win @ 8/15 (blue sq) rbv looked more like his old self the other day. i think he is in for a big tournement this week! 10pts Wayne Mardle v Dennis Priestley - Mardle highest checkout @ 11/10 (blue sq) priestley doesnt regularly take out the big numbers when mardle can click at any stake and take out highest checkout even if 2 zip down 10pts Wayne Mardle v Dennis Priestley - Mardle win @ 11/10 (blue sq) good price on mardle, priestley is in top form at the moment. priestley seems to always start off on fire but now its an extra set for victory he may tire off as he seems to do in longer matches. nice price on mardle here imo tournement score day 1 +8.33 day 2 -5.00 day 3 total +3.33

Re: Darts: World Grand Prix 2008
never in doubt with highest being 78 in the match. Day Two 10pts John Part to beat Chris Mason @ 1/2 (blue sq) John Part is class above mas and has been playing some top darts in the floor tournements of late. mason has a tendency to just choke up on the big stage in the last 18months and i feel the 1/2 on part is good value 10pts Jacko Barry v Brendon Dolan - Highest checkout under 110.5 @ 8/13 (blue sq) tournement score day 1 +8.33 day 2day one 10pts Dennis Priestley v Denis Ovens - Highest Checkout under 114.5 @ 5/6( blue sq) i like this bet as neither prolific scorers and quite frequently miss important doubles, in the shorter set up should mean there will be less realistic chances of 115+ checkout. -
Re: Darts: World Grand Prix 2008 day one Dennis Priestley v Denis Ovens - Highest Checkout under 114.5 5/6( blue sq) i like this bet as neither prolific scorers and quite frequently miss important doubles, in the shorter set up should mean there will be less realistic chances of 115+ checkout.

Re: US Open 25th August - 7th September i dont wish to be rude and people on here who made selection know hell of lot more than i do but people were backing a-rod at 2.2 vs novak was crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyy i thought roddick had decent chance but not 2.2 (bascially coin flip chance) i wouldnt backed roddick anythink under 3.2 but then im not saying im good here because i dont get to many spot on lol
-
Re: US Open 25th August - 7th September my bet is novak djokorvik he is classy player when in top shape, had days rest after illness i think today he will strike again, he seems to have nice style vs andy roddick truly expecting roddick take the 1st set but to lose 3-1 im not really good with these write ups but if novak plays half decent he is very big price vs a roddick who hasnt really impressed last 12months

Re: Cricket: England vs South Africa Twenty20 International & ODI Series as kev mentioned it will most likely be a shorter match with the weather concerns. i will be keeping an eye on the weather but if they start almost straight away (so one side have 50overs) although prob be shortenerd i will back the 2nd batting side if that makes any sense if it rains early and delayed start i shall probably just no bet, and sit back and enjoy

Re: Cricket: England vs South Africa Twenty20 International & ODI Series
i didnt have bet on y'day game due to the poor weather etc.... i would have backed england in the chase though i will be backing us in the last odi match as long conditions are good / reasonableWolves, I would not recommend a back of South Africa. KP and chums will be going all out for the 5-0 that takes England from 6 to 2 in the ODI standings. :loon Jaques and his motley crew have their eyes firmly fixed on the SAA flight at the end of next week. -
Re: Cricket: England vs South Africa Twenty20 International & ODI Series
unlucky mate, shah came 2runs off for you. but he plenty of balls in 37 to be able to acheive the target. i've been following your predictions for a while and notice how spot on you are majority of the time. i just got feeling you so unlucky in this serious so far. especially if england go and win today! i personally backed us today and when we get 3-0 will then back s.africa in remaining two. i hope my england comes in but you nail your african run scorer10pts O.Shah's Match Runs - 25&Over 5/6 Bet365 I wanted to back Owais Shah as England's top runscorer here but I've not got the each way terms I'd like or the price to go with it so I'll take Shah in this market instead. Owais Shah has top scored in the last two ODI's England have played here and it's a ground he obviously likes. He played brilliantly against India here last summer and his knock against New Zealand in June ensured England had some sort of total to try and defend. The extra pace and bounce is right up his street as he can use his unorthodox flicks and sweeps and with short boundaries and a lightning fast outfield, 25 runs should come from Shah's bat fairly quickly. . -
