Unplaced: 7 of 9 took keen hold, with leader, ridden over 2f out, soon weakened opened 7/1 -15.00 pts12/03/2007 Wolverhampton 4:10 Shadows Fall It's a P F I Cole and Tolley Dean 2yo combo. They won with a 2yo at the end of last month over course and distance by a good margin of 1 1/4 lengths from 2nd place. This one is top weight at 9-7 but 5lb to claim by Dean should help. Shadows Fall's form on all weather is slowly improving with a 4th from the last two last month. 5-11-12 from previous 3 that was all raced at Lingfield.. Cole is really doing well with 2yo's lately with 3 winners from the last 6 and this is his only runner for the day. 5 pts to win @ 9.00 (Ladbrokes) 10 pts TBP @ 2.24 (Betfair) -

Other runner for Jim Best today won by 27 lengths. Dundridge Native-3:30 @ Fakenham close up, led 3rd, made rest, unchallenged This better do the same...:okI had the eyes for Double Magnum @ 2:30 Folkstone One of two runner today from trainer Jim Best with the other forcasted by the Racing Post as the 1-2 favorite over at Fakenham. They are both hurdlers today and the distance to run is seperated by just 1 furlong. Double Magnum did not enjoy his last and only outing here when finishing 13 of 15 back in October. Pulling up in the prior two may have caused that or maybe it was the first race for Best. The next two from that 13th improved to a 4 of 7 and 2nd of 16. The owner is Leon Best and that is significant with the jockey (Robert-Lucey Butler) scheduled for today. Leon Best hurdlers when having Butler for guide totals 7 wins from 25 (28% for +22.00 LSP) - other riders has 4 wins from 33 the last 5 seasons. Butler knows his directions much better when hurdling with 5 wins from 43 here and zero wins from 14 chases the last 5 seasons. Hurdle form of the other jockeys for this race the last 5 seasons has 1 win from 44 with 3 of the 7 jockeys without experience here. Now well backed at 5-4 with the 2nd fav at 4-1 :ok -

Winner: 1st of 8 (Wins by 5 lengths) held up 6th, headway going easily over 2f out, led just over 2f out, clear over 1f out, pushed out very easily opened 13/8 touched 7/4 From RP Analysis Rarely does an AW event finish with the field so strung out but they went a strong gallop and the fast improving DANSANT, who admittedly having easily the best BHA rating of these, annihilated them and Group races must now be on the agenda. Staying is his game, so the fact that Invasion took the field along at a strong gallop played into his hands and having cruised into contention around the home turn he basically pulled his way to the front approaching the two furlong pole before sauntering clear in the manner of a horse who is capable of holding his own at Group 3 level at the very least. Connections plan to take him to Dubai for a crack at some valuable prizes.3:25 Dansant Finished in record time LTO. Plenty to like about today - same course, distance, jockey compare to the last outing. Jockey has 8 wins from 32 races with a 3yo at this track - 3 wins from 60 with any other age this year. Did very well on the NH Flat having a stretch of 2-3-2-1 from Jun to Aug 2006. The 3rd place horse from his last race went on to be the 11/4 favorite Group 3 winner at Navan on November 25th - RATHMORE CASTLE . Still has the same trainer and jockey from the last two starts so it is possible it can improve from the current hurdle form. 6.60/1.98 @ Betfair -

It appears to be a tough task with this being her first race against males but being the lone runner with experience on polytrack will belp. 9.20/3.60 @ Betfair -

But, I'm really hoping I do not get beat by the RP 2/1 forecast favorite Mendosino. -

Re: PL_Crewman | Sports-Punter Specialist 12.04.07 Hereford 1:40 Melvino Top weight, has a penalty to deal with to go along with a longer trip to travel and two career hurdle starts on firm ground. With all that I think it can still do well in this field. The two career starts was held here for a 3rd and 1st placed finishes. Made all LTO to win by 7 lengths - 2nd place horse won by 4 lengths 8 days later. Probably going to be a course speialist with all wins (2) from the trainer having occured at this track - 0-26 with the rest of entries. Might also be at a good price with all the changes for today. 5 pts ew @ sp
