Re: PL Card Game Congrats Jezza.:clap You'll get an outside cabin with a balcony for finishing 2nd too! I've had a chat with the Laddies staff on a recent hospitality do about the Cruise and it sounds fantastic. Just a shame that due to the amount of holiday I've got left at work, I couldn't have joined ya. If you haven't seen it, have a look at www.ladbrokes.com/poker/cruise/index.php Well done again fella. Now go and win that $250,000 first prize.

Re: laddies Good luck Jezza. What name are you playing under?

Re: Haydock Tip Tonight 3rd :) Backed in from 13/2 to 9/2 :)

Make of this what you want but I've got a tip for tonight; YankieDoodleDandy 8.40 Haydock A mate of mine flies light aircraft and was flying one of the owners and trainer (Haslam) a few days ago from a racecourse. Apparently the horse is stepping up in grade but still has a fantastic chance and has been placed in its last 7 or 8 races winning 3. They've recommended it as an excellent e/w chance with a good chance of winning. Just checked and you can get 13/2 at Chandlers. He's also tipped another of his that's making it's first run soon but I've forgotten the name (doh!). Supposed to be a bit handy at home and they're expecting good things from it, although the first run is a concern. Will let you know when I see my mate again.

Re: PL Card Game Played 4 hands in a cash game ($1/$2) on B365 and some yank went all-in before the flop with $130. I had $100 in my bank and was holding AA. Thank you very much! Ended $112 up in 5 minutes. Quit after that and went and watched telly with a big old smile on my face!

Re: PL Card Game Thats the fella. Great site. Cheers wfte.

Re: PL Card Game I read somewhere that the rebuy is becoming a bit of an aggresive tactic for the pros. Phil Ivey and Negreanu (forgot his first name and cant spell his second :lol ) apparently played in a $1000 tourney and were ultra aggresive going all-in continually in the first hour. Failure meant a rebuy. Success meant they could attain chip leader status and begin to bully the table. Phil Ivey's tactics flopped badly as he didnt make it to the cash positions but the other fella finished 4th for a very nice return on his 'investment'. Food for thought but I haven't got the bankroll to cope with the bad beats later on!

Re: Men's Final It really irritates me this 'Henman's a loser' nonsense. After years and years of crap players and crap tennis being put down to lack of money and lack of quality coaching, suddenly, against all the odds, Henman appears. Miracle I call it! And if they made a world best XI of tennis players as they always seem to do with football, Henman would be in it both by world ranking and professional opinion. How many of our footballers could you say that about?

Re: CHESTER by Seen revisited I've permed the each-way trebles for the 2.55, 3.30 and 5.15. Gives 18 ew bets.

Re: A tip for Musselburgh Unlucky fella. They don't all win ya know. :)

Re: Jackpot/Placepot Question That's great Danny. I'll try it tomorrow. Thanks mate. :ok
-
ATR teletext have updated jackpot and placepot pools after each race with the amount riding on each horse in the next race. Now that ATR has finished , I'm not sure if the teletext service is going to continue operating for domestic racing. Is there a website that you can access this information from during the day?

Re: WTA Qatar Open I've taken a bit of this too at WH. Looking at the 2004 stats for each player so far, the odds seem way out. Dokic is short-priced due to reputation and pre-2004 record. Good spot fella.

Re: Quick question about Betfair Formula 1 Do you mean on each race or for the season? One of the 'mainstream' bookies did h2h for each race last season. Think it was B365 but I may be wrong. Have a look around closer to the first GP.

Re: 4.20 Wolves - big priced ew fancy Absolute quality that one Seen. Thanks very much. Had £10 at 32 and £15 at 7.4 to place because of your post. After deductions, a nice profit of £382.40! Cheers mate. :notworthy

Re: Wolves multiple Oh my god! I was gonna follow this and the book closed on the first race before I could get it on! :( Congrats. :nana

Re: thanks BT I had a little go at boytractor's system last week but changed it to 3 selections from 3 races at 50p ew. Ended up with 8 ew winning lines (including a NR) and missed the win line with 2 1sts and a 2nd. Off a £27 stake, ended up about a fiver in profit. Not big profits but if the 2nd had come in 1st, it would have been very nice! Don't think this system is one to stick your last £20 on but it's definitely fun! The interesting thing about it is that you're trying to find races where the winner/favourites aren't short-priced. A complete opposite to my usual racing bets!

Re: Each Way Odds Its ok now coz I've found it. If you're interested; 2 - 4 runners No place betting 5 - 7 runners 1st and 2nd: one-quarter odds (0.25) 8 + runners 1st, 2nd and 3rd: one-fifth odds (0.2) 12 - 15 runners (handicap) 1st, 2nd and 3rd: one-quarter odds (0.25) 16 + runners (handicap) 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th: one-quarter odds (0.25)
