Re: Aussie Millions 2009 Thanks Helen. Just received confirmation from Centrebet that they have bought me in and they've requested Day 1 Flight 3. Ideal for me as I'll probably be arriving on Sat 17th, so it'll give me a couple of days to settle in and ... er.... relax (yeah right!). Staying in the Crown Promenade Hotel from the 17th to the 24th and just waiting now for the remaining funds to hit my acccount so I can book the flights - starting to seem more real now!

I’ve got to add that for a low stakes plodder like me to win seats in the WSOP, GUKPT and now the Aussie Millions is unreal but it’s in no small way due to what I’ve learnt about the game in the two years I’ve been part of the forum. So cheers to… probably all of the regulars…. for giving me a kicking at the tables at one stage or other and forcing me to think about where I was going wrong.:notworthy

Re: GUKPT Blackpool anyone? Well, my adventure only lasted about 4 hours (didn’t even to the dinner break which WASP took great pleasure in reminding me about 57 times) - set over set did the damage. Great experience though and I’m definitely going to try and qualify for more live events. The early exit also gave me a chance to have a few drinks with Divvits, Mole, WASP, Morlspin, SteveO and the legend that is Mad Duke :notworthy…. Jeez that boy can drink… great blokes all of them. Unfortunately, had to leave today as one of the kids took a nasty tumble this morning I and needed to get home - so didn’t get the chance to watch the others in action - so all the best guys :hope:hope
