  1. Re: Willhill Poker Raging at this, like others have said I loved the Crypto software. That was the best thing about WilliamHill, the software when playing was so much quicker and crisper than other sites and the main lobby was very simple and easy to navigate. I hate this style, all other poker-rooms have the same, very hard to find a tournament you actually like and lots more mtt's than stt's. My usual £3.60 buy-in ($5) is now filled with turbo versions and short or large stacked. Playing a normal 1500 stack just now but not enjoying it tbh, think I will boycott WH after years of service. Had to change my username aswell which is another inconvenience as I had built up a very good profit on sharkscope and now have to start a fresh. What other sites use Cryptologic, I think I'll move there.

  3. Re: Scottishbhoy87's GH leading to Dublin ( Take 2 )

Since my bet is win only would love to see a wee TCM 1-2 with AP leading home Ruby. Got Karabak doubled up with master minded so need this to come through. Expect fireworks in liblab 2 as this one goes for the off.
Will make scoring a last minute winner on EuroFinalScore look like a picnic.
  4. Re: Scottishbhoy87's GH leading to Dublin ( Take 2 )

  6. Re: CL - Wednesday 11th of March

Hi all, long time lurker and thought id finally sign up Fancy Man Utd strongly on Wednesday. As has been suggested, the odds could have been more generous but 3/4 is available with VC and Paddy Power and i'd back them at this price. I dont rate Italian football particularly highly when compared to the top Spanish and English teams and I think the first leg results in the respective ties reflected this. Ok Inter are a cut above Roma and Juventus who both went down 1-0 but I thought Man Utd looked very very comfortable in the San Siro. They could have been 2or 3 up at half time and although Inter improved in the 2nd half they made nothing more than half chances and never looked like winning the game. They struck me as very reliant on Zlatan to create something and his record in big games against decent CL opposition is patchy to say the least. Both teams suffered injury blows in defence at the weekend although the recent performances of Evans doesnt leave me too worried if Ferdinand doesnt make it. The danger is that the Italians will play for 0-0 and take it to ET or pens, but I just cant see Man Utd going 90 mins at home without scoring in their current form. The Mourinho factor also may be considered but at the end of the day he wont be out there on the pitch with them. Strongly fancy Man Utd, 8/10.
:welcome Great post mate and welcome to the PL. Completely agree, thats everything I wanted to say but didn't really have time to today.
  7. Re: CL - Wednesday 11th of March

have been waiting months to go in heavy on man utd in this match ' date= really fancy them to win this. now im not so sure .im quite dissapointed in the price , 4/5 is the best i have seen for them . Wuz thinking they would be 5/4 or evens . Anyway will post a more constructive analysis later in the week ! just wanted to voice my dissapointment at this price.
Same here mate, thing is I'd still have been happy with 4/5 but you can't even get that any more, generally 8/11, best price PaddyPower 3/4 but not got an account with them and some firms as low as 4/6.
  8. Re: Uefa Cup 26/2/2009

I'm on CSKA aswell. Much has already been said about this tie, Villa have left their best players at home and the squad thats travelled doesn't look capable of getting a result in Moscow. CSKA are a very strong side, they topped their group with a 100% record and even if Villa were at full strength the home side would still be favourites to progress after a good result and performance at Villa Park. O'Neill has signalled where his priorities lie and Russian sides have a good record in this competition over the years. CSKA Moscow 8/13
:ok Nice shooting Blackcrow and Nicko.

  10. Re: CL - Wednesday 25 February

I'm on Chelsea tonight aswell. Hiddink got off to a great start with a win at Villa and that will have boosted confidence in the Chelsea camp. Team spirit is back and Anelka has been back in among the goals the last 2 games. Juventus are going well in Serie A and are a very solid outfit and will be a tough nut to crack. However, the Premiership team have had the indian sign over Italian teams in recent years and I expect this to continue as the English teams high-tempo approach has proved too much for the more tactical Italian style. Expect it to be a tight game, the Racing Post tipped Chelsea to keep a clean sheet and I think the same. Can see a tight game with a 1-0 or 2-0 Chelsea. Chelsea - 4/5 Bet365
    :ok

  12. Re: CL - Tuesday 24 February

Arsenal Vs Roma Arsenal are different team when playing in Europe, think it suits their style of play much better, even with several key players missing, think RVP and Bentner can cause Roma enough problems, Roma haven't convinced me when playing in England previously against English opposition, both Chelsea and Man U opened them up. Arsenal Win @ Evens Nicklas Bendtner FGS @ 15/2 EW (4places @ 1/3 odds) Denilson FGS @ 18/1 EW(4places @ 1/3 odds) Inter Milan Vs Man United Was impressed enough with Inter's display in the derby, i think they are a cut above the other teams in Serie A, as their domestic record over the last 4/5 years has proved, the same can of course be said for Man U, think alot has been made over these injury problems, and the comments before the game, about which team will/wont attack or defend is all pre-match rubbish, neither Mourinho or Mr Ferguson will want to lose this match and it has draw written all over it. Draw @ 2/1 plus no goalscorer @ 7/1
Well done Charlie great picks mate :clap:clap Adds to your Spurs pick from last night aswell :ok
  13. Re: UEFA Cup ( 18-19 02 2009 )

It would be good to read your thoughts too : - simply following other peoples' ideas one day might cost you a lot, I ruined myself a great acca for Marty McG last season being 100% sure Genoa will beat Siena, on top of my loss; - the idea in a forum is to share opinions and info, don't think anyone will take you seriously if you only ask for tips, you might as well just read the posts... BOL P.S. Not sure it was Marty, but I am sure my pick upset someone...:\
Don't think it was me mate, anyway I couldn't complain. Have had enough losing picks over the years on here ;) Chelseafan- I hear your worries regarding Spurs, I got burnt backing against St Etienne in the UEFA Cup as they had a terrible record away from home in Ligue 1 yet they turned over Copenhagen in Denmark and got another convincing win away from home last night. It was the same with Man City, I backed Schalke ( I think) to beat them in Germany as City were struggling away in the Premiership yet City won. You can't compare home/away in various leagues IMO with a different competition. I've seen Shakhtar a lot over the years and they are a very good side, but a bit funny- I would of thought they would have enough to take at least a point against Sporting Lisbon over 2 games but maybe thats credit to Sporting. This isn't a priority for Spurs and I think Donetsk will win but I listened to Harry's interview last night and while he said the game wasn't a priority, experienced players are still travelling, Bentley, Huddlestone, Jenas, Bent- and the game gives guys like Giovannia Dos Santos a chance to impress. So Spurs will still have some very good players out. I do think Shakhtar can get a home win but I've been burnt a lot in the UEFA Cup and by these scenarios ( a weakened team playing) that I will probably just sit it out tonight.
