  1. Re: Australia - A League Round 14 (Nov 24-26) Agreewith all that's been said. Sydney, who won the title last year, are now at full strength and they have momentum going for them. They look sharper and more hungrier to set and score the goals. The catalyst has been Carney but also with Milligan and Corica there, and now even Zdrilic and Petrovski finding the net, Sydney are looking very good as they head towards the business end of the season. Queensland play well but for all their efforts, wouldn't be able to score in brothel with a load of money. Mori may have something to say about that but Rudan should keep him in check. Sydney now has the confidence to build on for the rest of the season and they should win this one. Sydney to win $1.70 @ Centrebet Sydney -1 $3.20 @ Centrebet looks good too

  2. Re: Euro 2008 Internationals (Nov 15) Pick: Croatia 2.30 (Centrebet) Croatia should be pretty confident going to Israel for this big tie where there are 4 teams locked in the lead on 7 points. They know that a win will see them lead the group favourites (England) by 3 points. Croatia has a very good defence whoch has yet to concede a goal and Israel will find it hard to break down this wall. While Israel does have a very good home record, they won't have the players to pry this defence. Croatia's midfield and strikers are filled with promising talent and will be looking to continue to shine on the international stage. They should have just enough class to edge out a victory, though it will be a battle all the way.

  3. Re: International Friendlies (Nov 14-15) Pick: Ghana Being from Australia, word is that about 5-6 regulars are out and some of the fringe players will be given an opportunity to play in this friendly. I don't know about the Ghana lineup, but if they play with their full strength lineup, then they should be favoured to win. The fringe players are untried and untested, and with most of the big guns like Kewell, Cahill and Neill out, things don't look promising. The coach is still a relative rookie in the international arena and one wonders if he can get his players to perform in this game. Australia played a recent friendly against Chile at home and struggled to break down their defence with a virtual full strength side. So Ghana (as long as they have their full strength side) should win.
