Re: It's a Knockout!!! Bank Doubled Have just looked through the ATP Archive of this seasons tournament results and a 5th seeded player has yet to win a tournament from the opening round. Also i noticed that only once has a player that was 5th seed ever reached the final. Now this could mean that my little run is due to come to an end very soon (lol) or it could mean that it is one of those statistical occurences that obviously if you play enough tournaments then a winner will crop up but it is by and large not going to happen that often. When i get a chance i'll check the WTA for the same. Be interesting to check this over a number of years to see if this is a regular occurence. Maybe worth investigating other sports too, like snooker or darts. Just a thought anyway.

To be honest i am a bit wary of having serena as the target for exactly your reasons. But it is the way i pick them and if i change it now i could get accused of changing targets to suit myself and this is glory hunters after all. But thanks for the good luck Mr.I, i think i might need it.:okAre you sure about Serena turn? She's pretty much always going to be a "false seed" due to injuries and not playing a full calender. Stan James have a market up with Serena as 3rd fav and Jankovic as a clear 5th favourite. Good luck:hope -

He's currently an amazing 33-1 to win outright and that makes him 5th fav behind nadal, federer, djokovic and davydenko. Tournament 1: Rome Masters Target: David Ferrer 1st Match: v Radek Stepanek or Jarkko Nieminen (Tues 6th May) Ferrer could meet federer in the quarters of this tournament, which to be honest i can't see him not getting that far. As with before i will use the 5th seed rather than 5th fav due to lack of liquidity at this stage in the outright markets on the womens tournament. Tournament 2: Qatar Telecom German Open Target: Serena Williams First Match: v Francesca Schiavone or Alize Cornet(Tues 6th May) Possible tough matches for serena could be a quarter tie v justine henin or a semi against one of the top 4 should they all qualify.:ok

Wow that was a quick tournament winner:loon although it was in the balance plenty of times as the czechs took an early lead and then pulled level on 3 separate occasions. Thankfully the russians pulled out the winner in over time. Got 2 tennis tournaments for next week, so back later with the stats for those. Right this is the one i'm having problems with, can't find an exchange or bookmaker that has odds for the next match. This is seriously looking as the one that could end the wining streak, especially after both Kuznetsova and Henin were knocked out today and they were both in serena's half of the draw.
