    I echo that...........i;ve been following your lays since I saw you nail 10 & 0 on Sports punter. Today was just a loosener, i'm sure of that.

    Re: EW Double System I might have read this before on one of the 46 pages.......but........ Why do you keep the stakes so low when the P+L and yield are so impressive? I know it sometimes gets a bit crazy with many many EW doubles but with your profit the way it is.......would you consider upping your stake?

    Re: Slapdash systems 2006 Strikeen is still available at 9/2 at Whill Theres's an odds on favourite. We're getting 1.9 for the place, compared to a lay price of 1.76, and the betfair win price is also dropped slightly to 5.6 where previously it was 6.0. Thought i'd post incase people thought they had missed the chance.     Re: Computer selected football home and aways rustyg, I do something very similar, although not quite there yet. I have only done the premiership so far and use a raft of different variables which I put through a statistical modelling process. Backtesting shows I would have finished last season with a yield of 10%. However, if you've got some form variables I havent incorporated, this can only help make my model better. Would you mind sharing your variables..........

    I use Bestbetting to look at individual races, mainly because it seems to be reasonably up-to-date and displays the Betfair win prices clearly. But I use Oddschecker to decide which races to look at, because they display all the races at a single meeting on one page with a summary of the betting, so it's easy to pick out the races with odds on favourites, etc.
    I'm fairly surprised by this. I thought you might have some fancy spreadsheet that basically pulls the info from betfair and oddschecker or bestbetting. With all the info in excel you could then put the betfair place and win odds up against the odds from the traditional bookmakers. I saw somewhere on this forum a link to a site where you could get the info from betfair into an excel spreadsheet - it was called "value" something or other...........can anyone jog my memory. Just my two peneth - sadly my excel skills arent up to it.

I have been taking a closer look at slapdash's selections from the start of 2006 and wanted to share some findings - simple that they are. I was wondering if slapdash - or anyone for that matter - had any idea why the selections perform so much better on a Friday - the yield is through the roof...... slapdash1.JPG This is a chart of culmulative profit for each of individual days.....my initial thoughts were that Friday had been an exceptional day and the scene of a number of winning selections which would yield large profit. Removing these does bring Friday closer to Monday in terms of profit........having removed the big wins from Friday would surely mean that I would have to do the same to Monday for fair comparison. This would once again put Friday out on its own. slapdash2.JPG What I would be interested in knowing is how the different systems, EW System and Large Handicap System, perform. Strength performs as expected - but I do wonder why slapdash offers his tips on Sports Punter @ 2,3,5 & 10. Yet in the punters lounge forum all selections are placed at 10units.     Re: Flyer Lays My first foray into betfair and laying was to lay Soto @ 2.62. A very pleasant start, I have been looking at FlyerLays selection for over a week. I hoped he/she would come back. I couldnt get on the first two as I was at work. How do people get on bets while at work? Does betfair have a wap site?
