  2. @StevieDay1983 , that was a quality preview there.

However, I think that the match between St. Etienne and Bordeaux is likely to end in a draw, despite their need to grab a win.

h2h stats at St. Etienne's home ground are backing the draw. In 10 out of the last 16 games neither team emerged victorious and there have been three draws in a row in their latest encounters.

    I am backing the Draw @ 3.40

  3. True, but the odds are worth a risk in my opinion.

For example, I had noted the Under 2.5 goals for the match between Burnley and Brighton, given the fact the Burnley's home record (71%) and Brighton's away record (81%) favor it. In addition h2h stats at Burnley's home ground suggest that the last 5 out of 6 games were Under 2.5 goals.

However odds less than 1.60 are ridiculous.

That's why I picked Southampton v Bournemouth, taking into consideration the high odds.

  4. A couple of facts on the match between Nottingham Forest and Barnsley:

h2h record at Nottingham: 8/10 matches (80%) were Under 2.5 goals.

Nottingham Forest's at home this season: 11/21 games (52%) were Under 2.5 goals.

Barnsley's away record this season: 10/20 games (50%) were Under 2.5 goals.

Odds around 2.00 for the Under 2.5 goals are quite good.

  5. I suggest having a look at Barnet v Newport County:

Barnet's home record shows that 14/21 games (67%) were Under 2.5 goals.

Meanwhile, Newport's away record shows that 12/20 games (60%) were Draws at Half Time.

h2h at Barnet: Each of the last three games between these two teams were 0-0 at Half Time and all of them were Under 2.5 goals in the end.

Odds around 1.65 for the Under 2.5 goals are not too good for my taste.

However, I believe that there is value in the Draw at Half Time @ 2.10

  6. Great preview there @Xcout

If I might add a couple of facts regarding this match:

    Dijon's home record:

10/16 games (63%) were Over 2.5 goals. In 12 of those games (75%) both teams scored.

    Lyon's away record:

13/17 games (76%) were Over 2.5 goals. In 10 of those games (59%) both teams scored.

    h2h record:

All of the last 5 matches (100%) between the two teams, regardless of the home ground, were Over 2.5 goals.

It's clear that Over 2.5 goals is highly possible, but odds below 1.50 are not appealing enough for me.

Therefore my call is Both Teams to Score @ 1.70

  7. A few more facts regarding the match between Real Betis and Las Palmas:

Real Betis have lost 11 out of their 16 games on the road (69%).

H2H Stats at Betis' home ground

Real Betis won 6 of their last 7 home games against Las Palmas (the other was a 0-0 draw)

In 6/7 games between the two teams there were Under 2.5 goals

In 5/7 games between the two teams there were Under 1.5 goals

In 6/7 games between them at least one team didn't score a goal.

In 5/7 games the score at Half Time was 0-0

I will take my shot at the 0-0 (Half Time Score) @ 4.00

and against Both Teams To Score @ 2.10
