4.05 Catterick Real diamond maybe needed the run last time out but won here last start of last yearoff a mark of 57 effectively riden off a mark of 60 todat with Kyne taking off a useful 5lb, also seems to go well on softer ground 0.5pt e/w real diamond 4.40 Catterick Avontour looks to be well ahead of the handicapper at mo with last 4 runs reading 1322 last three runs come off a amrk of 61 which he runs off yet again today, Heslop riding again with a 5lb claim and does seem to get a tune out of this horse, also enjoys a cut in the ground 0.5pt e/w avontour

Re: Catterick 8th July 5-15 catterick:SPEIKEROOG watched this horse twice,convinced it needs a thorough test of stamina with some dig in the ground(as pedigree suggests) ,the extra yardage and softer ground will certainly help. the likely fav ROSES will have to prove it is as effective on soft ground,its also hard to gage exactly what it has beaten in bumper races.
