I'm fairly new on here so haven't had the ego or testicular fortitude to start my own thread on here. But on the back of a few other threads with guys looking for a bit of stability and selectivity I wanted to open up a bit with my 'list'. I'm about 5 or 6 weeks into an experiment that I'm running on a 'dry' basis (ie., no money, just experimental) since 1/4/09. Basically I have a few stables or owners that I like to follow. Add to that I took a bit of inspiration from on here, from some literature that I've read (Ahead on the flat, Raceform Update, RP website, Sporting Life, ATR, trainer profiles, etc.) and came up with a list to follow for the season. As you'll see I rely heavily on Kevin Ryan's yard, Sheikh Hamdan, Khalid Abdullah, Ballydoyle, Ballymccoll, Bolger, Oxx, Mark Johnstone's Shiekh Mohammed, a few Northern Favourites, horses I've liked for years, etc. Anyway, it's been going not bad so I'm going to keep my list going for the remainder of the flat season. As I like to follow the baseball all summer I don't like the flat so much but want to find a winning formula so if this works this summer I'll try it for real next year, I'll try to keep it updated best I can and see how it goes, hopefully save me from acting like a headless chicken this year.
