Sheerluck Holmes
Re: Lingfield | 21st June 2008 8:25 SEAMUS AND ISABEL GOLDEN WEDDING ANNIVERSARY HANDICAP (CLASS 5) (3yo+,0-75) Winner £2,331.36 5f GD-FM Firstly, Congratultions to Seamus and Isabel! :ok 8 should line up for this wide open 5f sprint, likely to be headed in the market by Misaro. JUDGE N' JURY has won 2 of its starts over 5f. Never tackled anything quicker than Good ground so a '?' has to go next to him regarding this. Best performances have been from good draws on ideal ground etc so prob needs everythign to drop right to win. C&D winner MISARO is bound to give a good account of himself, coming off the back of a 5f win at Chester LTO (albeit from a good draw). Runs off 73 today and has never won this when this high up on the weights. DADDY COOL comes off the back of a long break, won a compettitive 5f spring at Thirsk on GF 5 starts ago but since then, only beat 3 home in last 4 races since then. Is 4lb better off than that sole win in turf, but, he has won after a layoff before and could run well at a huge price. DESPERATE DAN is 0-28 and turf and is on the same mark as his previous 4 where he finsished 3234. Cold probably do to be a few lb lower and hard to see how he will finally get hs head in front today, despite being one of the market principles. Milton Bradley still hasn't found form this season and BLUEBOK will have it all to do to help his trainers stats today. At his lowest mark for many a moon but hard to find any encouragement in rcent form he's ready to take advantage of it. OUR FUGITIVE probably wants the ground to be a lot softer and with a few exceptions, has run disappointgly when the ground is as fast as it is today. Draw from stall 1 could enhance chances though and has front ran in the past. HUCKING HARMONY is another one coming from a long layoff. A shout if looking at the penulimate race where he was 3rd over 5f at Goodwood on similar terms as today. NUSOOR is at a career low mark but has only won once since debut, 33 starts ago. Arguably now worse off due to jockeys lighter claim. Visor re-applied but hard to fancy. Going to keep stakes to a minimum in this one as dont fancy anything strongly, so an EW punt on DADDY COOL is the order of the day imho, and strongly relying on a him to be tuned up for this reappearnce and leaving his recent form behind.
