Trappers have 8 wins in last 9 matches and still are undefeated at home. Grizzlies have 1 OT win, 1OT loss and the rest were losses. Although Grizzlies are showing some improvement at home and in matches against weaker teams, they are still punching bag (their goal difference this season (Eredivisie + Cup) is 79-248). This won't be a disaster for Grizzlies only if Trappers show up unmotivated, but on a normal day this is easy home win. Beside, Trappers are fighting for top spot and their goal difference is not as good as Flyers', so this will be opportunity for them to improve it. More over, Kevin Lavallee is not in Grizzlies any more: he scored 2 and assisted 3 of all 7 goals Grizzlies scored against Trappers. Lulea went to OT in last two matches and lost both of them. I know nothing about this league, but I'm willing to try MODO. As a rule, Modo doesn't allow more than 30 shots on goal and, as a rule, Lulea needs at least 30 SOG to win. Further more, Lulea isn't very disciplined team (around 19 penalty minutes per match is their average) and MODO is rather good in PP (22%). Plus, Lulea has bad percentage in PP killing. They have met 3 times this season and MODO won each time (two straight wins and 1 OT win). I see on MODO's site that they are talking about goal tenders, but I understood very little of it. Although they had 2 wins, 1 OT win and 1OT loss, they didn't show any great performances. On the other hand, Omsk was rather good (perhaps surprisingly). After two away wins against Khimik and Dynamo, they hosted Kazan and CSKA. And fought really well: Kazan won in last two minutes and CSKA was better only in third period (helped by some dubious referee decisions). Omsk is two point behind 8th place and home rink advantage in play-off. They are playing stronger and stronger and perhaps has a good chance of surprising Lokomotiv. Bet365 usually has 'total even' at 1.90. What's more, this has a good chance of a draw and a draw is always even total. I'll sleep on it. They have only two rounds to play and there will probably be some 'strange' results (if I'm not mistaken, last season's last round gave winners at 12.00). The format of play-off is, let's say, interesting. First 4 teams enter play-off group A and teams 5-8 enter group B. Then they will play each other within the group and afterwards they will play 'regular' play-off according to group standings (1-8, 2-7 etc.) The group A brings home advantage in last part of the play-off and easier opponents afterwards. So, what have we here today: Asiago - Milano No matter what happens, Asiago is 9th. This is the last match for Milano and they need to win to ensure their place in top 4. So, definitely an away win. Ritten - Pontebba Ritten is definitely first and Pontebba is definitely in group B. Pontebba played draw in 11 out of 30 matches and a draw is likely in this match. Alleghe - Cortina Both teams are definitely in group B. Perhaps another draw. Bolzano - Fassa Bolzano needs to win to ensure a place in group A, Fassa is already there. So, home win. My bets would be: Milano to win -1.0 (1.86 @ Bet365) It's imperative for Milano to win this match. Their season was not great. Rejuvenated team had great performances, but also had disastrous days. This match will save their season and everything else will be forgotten. They have met three times this season: Milano won first two encounters 5-2 and 2-5. In third match, they have played 6-6. As you can see, over is also very likely in this match. Bolzano to win (1.90 @ Bet365) Fassa plays here only to keep their second place, but Bolzano has much more at stake. They need to win this match to ensure their place in group A. Both teams are in great form, with occasional slip-offs, but I think that Bolzano will enter this match with only win on their mind. So, medium stakes on home win (draw would also suit both of them). Ritten - Pontebba Draw (4.75 @ Bet365) Ritten doesn't play great for the last couple of weeks: their last win was on January 12th. Pontebba drew in 4 out of last 5 away matches. Ritten is definitely much stronger, but as both teams would be unmotivated, I'll try a draw in this match. Alleghe - Cortina Under 5.5 (1.90 @ Bet365) I think Alleghe is satisfied with this season, but Cortina definitely expected much more than group B. Both teams don't need points in this match, but this is derby in which they will be motivated to fight. Their matches are always rather intense and all 3 H2Hs this season ended as under. Both teams lost their last match, but performed differently. Straubing played awesome against Koln and build up to 3-1 lead. Ingolstadt was disastrous against Mannheim (0-6). The reason for that awful performance was to some extend gastro-intestinal flu. Whether defender Ficenec and striker Leeb will play today, will be known later. All the reports from Ingolstadt - Mannheim say that Ingolstadt was extremely bad. This league was so unpredictable this season, that only coin toss might be solution for betting. Brynas biggest problem is many penalties, but they are good in PP killing (84%) and Frolunda has poor PP efficiency (only 18%). Brynas does allow quite a few SOG, but Frolunda's efficiency is not that good (9,57%). On the other hand, Brynas has great efficiency (11,65%) and needs only a handful of SOG to score (usually around 20 SOG for three goals). Frolunda don't allow many SOG, but they allow around 25 in average. So, if Frolunda keeps their inefficiency, Brynas should win. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But, I'll try this one with small stakes. This is duel for the last play-off position. Although Tigers played somewhat better through the season, this year brought them nothing but disappointments. To add to their misery, Jeff Toms got injured against Bern and Tigers didn't win in last 7 matches. Toms will be back today and that's very important for Tigers, but he was out for a couple of weeks and definitely won't play at 100%. More over, Tigers' goal tender got injured in last match and won't be playing tonight. Lakers are currently holding the 8th place and they have worked hard for it. For the most of the season they were occupying that part of the table. They won 4 out of last 5 away matches (lost only to leader Bern) and lost only once in last 4 visits to Langnau. Odds are great and it seems that Lakers have a chance tonight, but I'm so cautious about this league, so I'll go with smallish stakes. Recent form says that Spartak really wanna get some points and do smth to stay in Playoff zone. Lada on the other hand have done everything and keep themselves comfortable in the middle and have some rest. So I predict here home win. Even dnb is a good stake, but not for me. :hope Ufa to win. No comments just bet on. Different class teams and too tired guests after very difficult match just can't bother enybody in Ufa. Avangard to win. This gun can go off anytime! I haven't read any news about those teams, but I expected to see -4.5, at least. Any way, Phantoms are the second worse team in the league (you all know by now that the worst team is Bulldogs) and, like many bad teams, they play better at home than away. They have played 5 away matches in the championship and won only against Bulldogs after OT (goal difference away is 9-24). HYC is in good form (their loss to Olympia when I did bet on them was their only loss in last 6 matches). They still have maximum number of points taken at home in the championship. Their last H2H was three days ago and HYC won 7:0. Here are the rest of H2Hs this season (Cup + Championship): Championship PHANTOMS H.Y.C. FINTRO 6 : 5 (ot)H.Y.C.
