Can it still be done?

I know this is my 3rd or 4th challenge on here and I've never really stuck to one as I've never been focused enough but this time I'm 100% determined to stick to this. Lately I've been thinking alot about why I play poker and alot of reasons came up: -For the money -For the competitiveness -For fun Mostly I realised I'm just like the most of the others that are chasing that big win (One day:p). I've always been one to either run up a bit of a bankroll and either take shots that I shouldn't have or start playing outside my BR or I've withdrawn to ruin all the work I've done. After thinking about it pretty thoroughly and reading through articles and forums I've realised how much poker has revolutionised and how hard it actually is these days to make a living or even a few quid out of it. My challenge here is to deposit $100 on Stars and hopefully never have to deposit again... I'm going to have a pretty strict BRM here and wll play a mixture of STT, MTT and cash as I feel I can play all of these pretty solidly at the lower levels whilst the bankroll is small. I will only play bigger games if I can get staked or satellite my way in. MTT's Up to 500 - 100 Buy ins (Turbos) - 200 Buy ins 500+ - 200 Buy ins (Turbos) - 300 Buy ins Cash Full ring - 30 Buy ins 6 Max - 50 Buy ins STT 9 man - 25 Buy ins (Turbos) - 50 Buy ins 18-90 man - 50 Buy ins (Turbos) - 100 Buy ins 180 Man - 75 Buy ins (turbos) - 125 Buy ins This could be revised I know it's pretty conservative if anyone has any tips here please let me know. It's like this to reduce the chance of going bust. All games will be on stars as the traffic and software is the best and plus it's where alot of fish like to get started. Every day I play I'll post on here with some feedback/results. Thanks!

Yeah it can be done , if you have read previous posts in time gone by you will know that I've often struggled wit maintaining a roll and focusing on 1 specific type of game , you can mix it up a bit in the early levels but when you start growing your BR I would suggest like everyone told me focus mainly on 1 thing be that SNGs , MTTs or Cash. Personally I tilt way to easily playing cash , but I would recommend viewing a few training video's on strategy I didn't realise how exploitable some my play was until I really looked closely , and still learning all the time. I will be starting up my next challenge for the beginning of the next year so if we can get a few players posting in bit more detail think this will be great for everyone Good Luck
