glceud
Re: 12 of Christmas on Paddy What has blackjack/roulette/slots got to do with poker...Paddy trying to get mugs playing his crap side games. Pretty sure the majority of the mugs I play at poker would be better of at blackjack/roulette/slots at least there would be a small chance of them winning.:\

DasBoot
Re: 12 of Christmas on Paddy Thoughts please. I wasted $10 on slots yesterday to get into tonights freeroll promotion. Tried to register today and was unable to. Phone the helpdesk and was informed that I had played the instant casino slots and not the poker client slots. There are slots on the poker client? Why? I told him that I didn't think the promotion made it clear that where you had to waste $10 on slots and indeed was not even aware about the "poker slots". The upshot is I'm not eligible for tonight's promotion. Fair or not?

Samba_SamPa
Re: 12 of Christmas on Paddy blackjack fans' date=' how do I lose the least to qualify for tomorrow's fr?[/quote'] If you use an optimal blackjack strategy you can reduce the house edge to ~0.45%, but there's no way like on roulette to guarantee a minimal loss (by covering all the numbers) - you could play 'optimal' and still lose your $10. I found the following chart online, there will be others if you google. The only thing I would say to do differently is never to split on 6,6 [hit if dealer shows 7/8/9/10/A & stand if dealer shows 2/3/4/5/6] Play 10 x $1 hands of blackjack using the chart to determine your actions, and you give yourself the best chance to lose as little as possible. Hope that helps
DasBoot
Re: 12 of Christmas on Paddy Or do what i did. Slap down $10 and bust. Get angry and slap down $5. Get blackjack. Slap down another $5 and beat the dealer. Small profit :rollin
