  1. Re: Best Bet of the Day 19/03 Kempton 19:20 Nanosecond WIN Been hearing wonders about this all morning, from tipsters, experts, and stable. Been backed from 10's to 4's so today I decided to follow the market! Went for E/W on my bet, but caught it at bigger price, 8's. At current odds 7/2, 4 in places, I have to make it win bet here! here's :hope for the gamble of the day!

  2. Re: 1 to 1024? simple math :) Attempt 1: Starting Bank 2pts [1] Rangers x Patrick Over 2.5 @ 1.333 && Milan to beat Sampdoria @ 1.5 (Double 2pts) This time I'll post some reasoning: Rangers x Patrick Rangers are sure to easy win this, so I expect them to hammer Patrick big time! As for Milan, this is a simple as, they have a poor record @ home, true, but they lost their last game against Roma, Sampdoria is 4 points away from them next in the table. If Milan loses this, they see the champions league slipping from their hands, and see Sampdoria getting even closer. This is a risk they simply can't take, so this is a WIN or WIN situation.

  3. Re: 1 to 1024? simple math :) Tomorrow I'll start this fresh with something that has been missing lately! DIS CI PLI NE! :) going to take this seriously, and will not be picking bets just by looking at the odds given by my bookie!

  4. Re: BEST BET OF THE DAY ~ Tues 18th March

Kempton 16:30 Mister New York WIN LTO was in a class 1 race, and it didn't do better because it had some traffic problems, but kept on approaching the final furlong, so trip doesn't seem to pose a problem. Now we have a short field, down to class 3, down in weights, Kirsty on board, and lets hope she doesn't leave this too late today! Should take the beating:hope
Again, IMO ... left it to late again... :@ had it all to win... and again, got the burden of being a NAP ...:wall

  6. Re: Best Bet of the Day - Monday 17th Mar

Well done bigs :ok I layed it and didn't bother trying to trade out, I went for a cigar instead, but didn't lose much. I backed Golden Dane at odds on for a place. Had me worried that I was going to do my money twice over as I was listeneing outside and he hit trouble in running early on. Thank fcuk he ran on :ok and only 3/4 of a length behind the winner.
Well mate, we both made money out of the race then, that's the important stuff ;):ok
  7. Re: Best Bet of the Day - Monday 17th Mar

Wolverhampton 15:30 Hurricane Hen WIN this is my case: this horse has had plenty plenty of chances, and J Boyle has found a weak race it can really win. He has shown 7 of it's 11 starts, and what the hell, if he doesn't win this, it's not worth following him again! People reckon it has hability, otherwise it wouldn't have been favorite in some races, so this is now or never!:hope
Finally, it won a race!!! Got it at near 2/1 :) so quite happy, and what a boost because I had it in a 2 accys, with Double dizzy, tamborine ridge/pretty neat! :) good to have a winner for the BBOTD and good to make money out of it!
  8. Re: Best Bet of the Day - Monday 17th Mar

I'll make Hurricane Hen my LAY of the day. For a horse that has trouble winning, stall 10 does it no favours over this distance. bigs, one of us is going to be right :ok
Well mate, if I'm wrong with it, it will be the last time, as it is it's last chance with me! :ok and after a profitable cheltenham, I can afford if it loses! But if it can' win this, it will be rated in my "hard to win with" horses!:spank

It is currently @ 2.82 best price betfair, and I'm going to get it now, as I suspect it will shorten during the night! and I'm going to make it my banker of the day in a couple of accys. If it loses, i'll never back it again, as it will prove it is destined not to win IMO.

  11. Re: Best Bet Of The Day ~ Sunday 16th

Fontwell 16:00 Strolling Vagabond E/W @ 20/1 Ok, here's my case! This is a horse for course, loves it here. Last years winner in this race. No problem whatsoever with the ground. Was following it when it was Non Runner LTO a couple of weeks. I got the impression it was a Non Runner with this particular race in sight. Trainer might have decided to save everything for today. The concern is the form... dreadful form last couple of months, but we see this time and time again in horse racing. They are so out of form, but they come to win a race they have previously won, just because they love it! Goldstein rides and really knows this horse. 20/1 is a very very juicy E/W Price, which I think is terribly overpriced all things considered! but hey, at the price, I have to NAP it :)
Currently best price @ stanjames 11/1, but yesterday night was 18/1.

  13. Re: Cheltenham Thursday 13th March 12.30 - Here's Johnny @ 18/1 - This horse goes well in soft and worse ground. Keeps going close and I can't see why it can't go close today. This is an amateur racing, an open one, so stakes will be kept to a minimum, but at the price, it's worth a shot! 13.05 - Pomme Tiepy E/W @ 5/1 - This is one of the best chances for Walsh to get on winning terms. It's one of the only horses that's been racing in Class 1 and winning! So has to have every chance for a place at least. 13.40 - The Hairy Lemon E/W @ 25/1 - Ok, I've been following this horse throughout the season and it is oh so game in the end, just keeps finding more and more when it needs! 25/1?! I can see him, similar to katchit, running through the hill when everyone else is fading. The only concern is that it is running in class 1 for the first time, but I believe it will again find it more and more! This might well be my E/W nap of the day! 14.20 - Master Minded WIN @ 3/1 - Ok, Nicholls has 2 of the 4 candidates for a win. But given the ground, I dismiss Twist Magic. Nicholls himself said that good to soft would not suit it. Taraminbleu is from the Fest form stable, D Pipe, and could go close. But this is one of the best chances for Nicholls to have a win. 14.20 - Voy por Ustedes WIN @ 3/1 - I am actually dutching this now, but still haven't made my bets, so tomorrow will have time to decide. This horse dismisses presentations :) King + Thornton + Previous fest winner! 17.15 - Officier de Reserve - In what seems a not so strong race, this is one of the best chances for Nicholls to have a winner at cheltenham! LTO can be forgotten just because it was in much better company than today! It's an open race, but Nicholls + Scholfield tend to give us results! At 8/1 is for me, an solid E/W Bet, but I do suspect it can win! 17.50 - Apt Approach E/W @ 9/2 - Irish trainers have a good record at this race, Mullins I think has a good record at this race, Walsh is mounting, won easily LTO and stayed on powerfully. 9/2 is a fair enough price to take an E/W punt. Not an easy race punting wise because of the prices, so Being conservative, give it an E/W shout!
