  1. Re: lets send a PL`er to the WSOP 2011 how about 26 weeks then with a $5 buy-in? i am sure Paul could get one of the sites involved for added value, hopefully they would be more involved than Stan James were the last time :sad:sad this can be as flexible as we need to be :ok

  2. with the onset of this years WSOP i feel we should try and get another PL`er to next years. this would need some commitment from everyone here and some help from one of the poker sites probably although we could this on our own by setting up private tables on an acceptable site. it would have to be for the $1500 tourney and $1000 for hotel/plane so a $2500 prize package. i was thinking a 50 week league with the normal points system and best 35 weeks counted so you wont miss out with holidays etc. if this is done privately we would need a minimum of 25 players paying $2 each and someone to hold the money in trust. also the winner would agree to a 25% stake of any winnings for all players who have participated in a minimum amount of games to be agreed upon. what do you think? any suggestions welcomed and if this would be vialble or not.

  3. Re: VIP Poker League Season 3

Great! Welcome on board. :ok I think we now each have to email VPL to give our details and to say we're signing up as Team Occasional.
think it only needs one of us to do that and as our captain we will leave it to you :ok
  4. Re: VIP Poker League Season 3

I'm going to register for this at least as an individual, but I'm not going to be able to play many of the games (at most one in three, probably). So I don't want to join a team where I'd feel I wasn't pulling my weight. But there's no downside to being part of a team. So are there two other players in a similar situation who would like to join Team Occasional? Team rules would be that team members should feel absolutely no responsibility to play any games all if they don't feel like it.
I'm in a similar position to Jeremy I couldn't commit to playing every game' date=' say 1 or 2 a week at the most, so i would gladly join your team if thats ok with you?[/quote'] if you want me i am also in this position in being able to play only twice a week
  5. Re: VIP Poker League Season 2 well done Slapdash,:clap:clap:clap and unlucky Runadrum in bubbling. still kicking meself with the attempted steal but finishing 12th was okay. good to meet spitvenom and beekeeper and everyone else as well. sorry to Adetrick for my A/J beating his Queens and good to see my fave hand 4/4 beating GG`s 10/J especially when the 1st card out was a 4 ;).

    Pick Your WSOP* Fantasy Team

Join Full Tilt Poker's free Fantasy Poker League and pick your lineup of poker pros for selected events in this year's Series. If your team earns enough at the tables, you'll win

prizes including Full Tilt Poker gear and entry to exclusive Freerolls where you'll play for cash and a shot at a seat in the 2011 Main Event.

Select your team of poker pros for the 2010 WSOP*. The action starts with Event 2 on May 28th and continues through the $10,000 No-Limit Texas Hold'em Main Event starting Monday, July 5th at 12:00 pm PT. You can join anytime - the more events you play, the more chances you have to win. Assemble a team of 15 that you think will earn the most in each individual event. You can re-select your roster prior to each event or keep it the same. If you don't submit new picks for each event, your most recent line-up will be used for following events.

As your pros win real money, you'll earn fantasy dollars based on where they fit in your team and where they finish in the actual event:

    • Five "A" Players
    • (earn triple the actual winnings in Fantasy Dollars)

    • Five "B" players

(earn double the actual winnings in Fantasy Dollars)

    • Five "C" players

(earn the actual winnings in Fantasy Dollars)

players in so far: teaulc - paid Morlspin -
