    What would be the selection criteria as I seemed to miss out last year on some dodgy team selection ;) A fairer system would be to have a league to decide half the team, the winner of the league is captain and then the captain has his wildcard picks (whether it be the the next ones down in the league or players who he rates based on previous results in live events). Thats how its done elsewhere and it gets away from the ambiguity of a self nominated captain picking his own team.

    the 2 day event is on the weekend of 22/23 October in Luton, although no details are available yet i thought it would be good to see who are interested in representing Punters Lounge this year. also please note there is no guarantee that PL will be one of the 25 teams selected. closer to the time the mods will select from those who have voted yes.

    Was talking with Brian about this in Manchester. How about Al or a mod getting a poll sorted with lets say, September weeks 1 to 4 then October weeks 1 to 4 As usual it won't be pleasing everyone, but if it could get nailed to a few Dates, then the juggling could commence and Big Andy will as usual try to sort us the venue. I am obviously open to all dates as I live local enough.
    not going to happen in the near future Kev, sorry. as stated earlier,we have pretty much nailed PL WSOP in September so it just wouldnt be viable.

    a big thanks to Beanolizzy for seeking me out for the pokerplayer magazine final tonight. i had forgot all about it and he came looking for me and found me on Virgin, reminded me i was sat out and i won a seat (with him as well) to the Live game in Leeds. definately a pint or 2 for you mate :notworthy:notworthy:notworthy
