  1. O.K so I guess no one else is going to start this thread so I will. So far this season this league has been good to me, having won both my bets last week on Vancouver and on Real Salt Lake( which was at odds of 5. believe it or not.) For this weekend I have taken Vancouver Whitecaps to win at 2.7 away at Chivas U.S.A. 4/10 Vancouver thrashed the New York Red Bulls (last season's regular season 1st place in league) 4-1 last week. New coach has 4 good new signings who were all great last week. Chivas was one of the worst clubs in the league last season, though they managed to edge past Chicago 3-2 last week. Vancouver is a very well rounded club this season, they only conceded last week in stoppage time when the game was basically over. It's hard to no what to expect at the start of the season but I expect Vancouver to win this game. I have other bets I have taken I will add later as I have things to do right now.

  2. Re: Europa League > Thursday March 13th Volj was the substitute for Alan one of their star strikers. Volj was not up to standard, he looked rather useless and lost out there to me, Bereisha should have been subbed in earlier I think. Unfortunate so many people took Salzburg today, they won like their last 12 games I believe, today was not the right day to take them. I did however worn that I wouldn't recommend a bet on Salzburg if Alan was out of the lineup.

  3. Re: Europa League > Thursday March 13th

Ok Salzburg played really well against Ajax and won both legs in a convincing way' date=' but how on earth can they be such favorites away at Basel??? It's not chelsea, lol? They were around evens when they played there? Is salzburg really that good and how do the bookies come to these odds? Basel known for their tactical game plans and at home they are really hard to beat. European nights are always special and they are doing pretty well overall in europe. Only 2 losses in their last 10 home games in the CL. wins over bayern munchen, man united and chelsea. 1 loss in their last 8 home games in the europa league. ofcourse they lost Salah which is a blow and some defensive players but these odds look really generous to me. Anyone share these thoughts?[/quote'] Honestly I don't know enough about basel, but no way I would bet against Salzburg man, these guys score at will and aren't too shabby defensively. Their goal differential is amazing and even that doesn't quite do them justice because they score when they need/want too. I took Salzburg -2 at 9 on bet365 a way back. But now Alan is injured so that should weaken them offensively if he doesn't play, which I am not sure of. Even if Alan is out I still wouldn't recommend a bet against Salzburg, I have made very good profit on handicaps with Salzburg this season, and I know Basel is a good team, but this Salzburg team is unreal man. So that's what I think take it or leave it. But yeah I maybe wouldn't confidently recommend anyone to bet on Salzburg, until we know if Alan is playing, he only has a calf muscle strain though whatever that means. I still think Mane, Soriano, Kample is enough up front though.
  4. Re: Argentina > Primera division > 2013/14

Atletico Tucuman v Defensa y Justicia Argentina B Quite a derby at the top. Considering Defensa missing in attack , I rate this bet passable. Out theyr best scorers: Lucero (23 Games - 15 Goals) and Guerra (23 Games - 7 Goals). Tucuman (0) at 1.79 Pinnacle
It's already down to 1.508 at pinnacle, there must be lot's of people on this? I guess there's no value left anymore eh?
  5. Re: Europa League > Thursday February 20th

Don't know why you guys are replying like this, cause it's useless and full of crap. I never ever write my previews fan based cause I write for many games analyzes. The things I wrote were about Ajax form, goals conceded, their performances in the CL. Only facts so cut the crap pls and enjoy your winnings instead. They got outplayed due huge defensive errors and atleast 8 players didn't reach their normal level. Ofcourse you can loose a game. Never wrote that salzburg is bad just under normal circumstances ajax usually performa really well on this stage especially at home. I'm not making it up, these are facts. Bad day for Ajax, great one for Salzburg. But even Ajax played bad, Salzburg didn't create more than one normal attack or a great chance except for that free kick after 4 minutes. Ajax was just bad and conceded 2 goals by huge personal errors and a wonder shot. Shit happens credits to Salzburg but my analyzes was based on previous games. Ajax had a total off-day. Coach De Boer also stated that they were well prepared for these tactics but just failed in their normal passing game and lost many duels in midfield. He said maybe we should have played kick and rush to keep off the pressure a bit but we always wanna play our style. We failed today nothing more or less. Good for you, you won some money I didnt even bet on this game cause like I also wrote after 10 minutes you could see that Ajax would have huge problems today. Anyways, this was a surprise for almost everyone that Ajax played so bad never happened in europe this season at home. On to the next one fellows
ever consider maybe salzburg is just good. Here's a fact for you, Ajax got destroyed 3-0. IMO it could have been 5-0, and they were creating chances frequently, like usual. Salzburg's pace up front was too much, which is why ajax was "making mistakes," defending is a lot about minimizing errors so really making mistakes is just getting beat. I hope most people think this was a fluke though, I'll continue to ride Salzburg until it doesn't pay. I never said you're tips are bad, though, I might have been a little harsh, perhaps I was slightly high off the winnings. I guess we will see if it was just a bad game for ajax in the next leg. Maybe I just got lucky, but I have been following Salzburg and this team has a lot of talent, and are underrated IMO. But you are lying when you say Salzburg didn't create chances, straight up.
  6. Re: Europa League > Thursday February 20th

sshh he's an Ajax fan :lol
aha. ok, well maybe he should mention that in he is biased in that way when he tips, I put less on Salzburg -1.5, at 7.2 than I might have partly because of that. Salzburg is now up 3-0 and is completely destroying ajax. What you need to understand is that Salzburg didn't just buy players, they bought young gifted players who are developing into superstars.
  7. Re: Europa League > Thursday February 20th

About Ajax I simply disagree with your picks and arguments. Ofcourse Red bull is in top form and scores a lot of goals, but come on. Austrian bundesliga is pretty poor. Not a standard you can compare with for these kind of games. They have the biggest budget of all teams and buy the best players around ofcourse they rape their opponents every week like they should. Second of all, Ajax did well this year in their very tough CL group. Most of the games they dominated possesion and had their chances. Ofcourse they got outplayed last year against Dortmund and Real madrid a couple of times but come on almost every team looses against Real. Salzburg is a small club compared to them. They maybe have some quality players but surely not better/technically than Ajax has overall. Especially at home Ajax played great and won against Celtic, Barcelona and against Milan they got robbed by the ref which ended in a draw. These are serious results in Europe and I don't think a team like Salzburg will come here and outplay Ajax in their own stadium. Ajax is fully motivated for this competition and Ajax will play with their best squad. They never rested many regulars for games like this so it would really surprise me if F. de Boer will field a mixture squad. If so, ofcourse Redbull will have a bigger chance but with their best line-up I really fancy ajax to atleast win at home. I do agree with you saying that Redbull is capable of scoring. Ajax does not concede much but with the firepower Redbull has they will certainly get some chances in this game. BTS is likely for me but I expect Ajax to come out on top. Ajax played a pretty good first half against Heerenveen and it could have been 4-0 at HT. They finnally put out a lot of pressure early in the game searching for goals which would help them clearly in the rest of the game. I follow their games pretty closely and watched many games live especially in Europe. I can tell you they played their best games of the season in these leagues. Highly motivated and they will surely not under estimate Salzburg here. I'll wait for the line-ups and if Ajax will field their best squad, I will back them with medium stakes and the BTS option too..
Whats that? 20 minutes in and Salzburg 2- ajax 0. ahaha enjoy ajax at medium stakes :cigar
  8. Re: Europa League > Thursday February 20th Napoli definitely seems like a really good way to go. Swansea's Europa form really hasn't been much better than their league form, I already had a wager on that match and I might add a little more, Napoli seams the much better squad. Another Europa League match I find interesting is Red Bull Salzburg against Ajax. If anyone has been following Salzburg lately they are in incredible form at the moment. All season they have been great, but now they are in even better form since beating Bayern 3-0 in a friendly during winter break. They have come back from winter break and slaughtered the Austrian Bundesliga teams 6-0, 5-1 (against the second placed club in the league), and 4-1. They are an incredibly offensive team, I definitely see them at least getting a goal or two here. I wouldn't give a tip though because I don't know much about Ajax, if anyone follows the Eridivisie it would be nice to know. Anyways I'm even considering putting a really small bet on Salzburg -1 or -1.5 because when Salzburg win they often win big, it's a hail mary but could pay out big.

  9. Re: Sky Bet League 1 > February 11th & 12th There is also Brentford (away at sheffield united) tomorrow at a nice 2.25, the Bees are still undefeated in 18 games, with only three draws of those 18. They tied away at Shrewsbury Town last week, who is in 23rd place. Brentford had a clean sheet for 90 minutes and, in stoppage time Shrewsbury found the back of the net to tie the match at 1-1, though Shrewsbury had the majority of the chances in the first half. I think with a tie away to a relegation side last week maybe first place Brentford will step up the game a bit this week and maybe play slightly more offense, or come up with the full three points as they have so often lately. Prediction: Brentford Odds:2.25 Stake:4 units Bookmaker:Pinnacle

  10. Re: February 3 - February 9

Back Martin Alund (+1.5 sets) to beat Nicolas Almagro for a 6/10 stake at 2.28 with Pinnacle Martin Alund is a pretty formidable opponent, so I don't expect Nicolas Almagro to crush him today. After all, it is never easy to get straight back into the action after such a long break and the Vina del Mar conditions are not the most comfortable around. Alund can even win this, but, at odds against, I am more than happy to back the set handicap here. Full preview here: http://www.punterslounge.com/alund-vs-almagro-betting-nicolas-almagro-to-face-problems-in-his-first-match-of-the-season
I couldn't find where the handicaps for sets was on pinnacle, how do you do that? sorry for the noob question, I usually bet on football.
  11. Re: Sky Bet League 1 > Saturday February 1st I'm taking Brentford to win at Shrewsbury. I placed a small-medium bet so far. Was wondering what people more knowledgeable are thinking about this, seems pretty solid to me. (I've watched parts of their last couple games, they seem dominant enough). It's first place against last, shrewsbury has lost their last 6 home matches, and it seems like most of the teams they get results against are in the bottom of the pack. I think Brentford are better at home (seems like they have a good fan base), but, Brentford are in form, I they should take this, at odds of roughly 1.75

  12. Re: Ligue 2 > January 17th - 20th

I'm taking Nancy to win at bet365' date=' (1.44). I'm no expert on this league, not even close, but it's a last place club with only 1 win against a club who played in Ligue 1 last year and could put themselves in a promotion position this weekend, it's one of those must-win type games for Nancy.[/quote'] I forgot to mention Nancy have won their last 5 home games.

  14. Re: Ligue 1 Orange > January 8th & 10th

The injury is rumored to be a smokescreen for trade/loan negotiations with real madrid and chelsea' date=' not sure though. I'm skeptical as to whether or not he will play. Would be great to hear any sources saying if he is or isn't.[/quote'] never mind. don't know how I missed it :cigar. the manager confirmed falcao would play, although I believe he was supposed to play in one of the previous 3 games as well. definitely seems like one of the best bets for today.
  15. Re: Ligue 1 Orange > January 8th & 10th

Montpellier – Monaco At least Falcao should be fit and ready following a 3 week rest and I’d expect him to be fully over his injury now. Prediction: Montpellier 0-2 Monaco Recommended bet: Monaco -0.5 @ 1.88 4/10
