I remember years ago when Angus gave something like 6 winners from 8 at Royal Ascot incl 16/1, 14/1 and 8/1 so he is well worth keeping an eye on. I will check out his success YTD on Telegraph website later on and post an update for your reference. You can also pick up his tips for today & Cheltenham at easyodds.com For the record, he has selected the following today: Tana River 2.45 Sandown 3rd @ 8/1 United (e/w) 3.20 Sandown unplaced Heron Marsh 3.55 Sandown unplaced Jericho III 4.55 Sandown won @ 8/1 Geeveem 2.30 Chepstow won @ 1/4! Re: ONE at DECENT ODDS Following from my previous observations about a place system only: and assuming a rough 1/4 price for a place compared to the prices you quote when you post the selections, a small profit has been made on the 26 selections so far. 26 selections at 1 point each purely to be placed would have generated a bank of 32.875 from a 26 stake: a 26% profit, make of this what you will, but I've been backing these for a place only and 26% is 26% whichever way you look at it: keep them coming!:hope

I realised that afterwards! But once i noticed the price discrepancy I wasn't fussy.:DI know you have done it now but i think you only need to bet the bonus 3 times ie. so £72 not £144. Dont think you have to bet the deposit as well -

Then between 1pm and 5pm they offered this £24 matched deposit, so I took advantage of this. The catch is, as previously pointed out, that i had to wager the bonus £48 3 times ie a £144 stake plus the £34 I originally deposited. So, i got the 1.6 offered on England and wagered £178, which I laid off at 1.53 for a small guaranteed profit plus £48 free cash. All in all, Nearly £60 for shuffling money around.

One thing, though, as a newbie can you explain this to me and how i do it myself, because i often back 1-1's and 2-1's regularly: Permed in correct scores of 1/1 and 2/1 with: 10 x premiership 11 x championship 11 x league 1 11 x league 2 4 x conference 8 x conference north 9 x conference south 10 x serie a 74 x 2 four-folds = 148 x 10p = £14.80 staked. Is it just 1-1 or 2-1 to the home team?

Re: Only idiots @ me system The winners seem to be few and far between, but he sheer fact that they are long shots makes it worthwhile persevering, as you only need a relatively low strike rate to still turn a profit. And, I, for one, don't care about strike rates, they don't put food on the table: profit does!
