Re: Flat season Horses to watch out for! Yes, lord charles was 2nd to a very impressive Ascot-bound Hoh Mike. I had backed Hoh Mike early on at 4/5, but then remembered lord charles was on "the list". It was actually more prfitable taking lord Charles for a place than backing the winner!

Re: Jack Daniels' AFL selections Just because there's no replies, doesn't mean we aren't watching with interest! I, personally, prefer to wait longer than 2 winning bets before i have a dabble with my own cash. Looking good so far, though, keep it up.:hope

Re: Hunter Chase Season 2006 Batchelor Boys finished 2nd ( by just 3/4 length) at 20/1!

Re: Pot the black faster than O'Sullivan I still look here, because there are more getting placed than unplaced, and a profit can still be made.

Re: Question regarding home advantage
Which would suggest a 55 / 45 spilt.well if it helps, the average goal advantage for home teams in the premiership is around +0.4 of a goal. also on average, from the last 3 seasons there have been 46.66% home wins 25.88% draws 27.46% aways so about 19-20% more than the away chance. -
Re: Pot the black faster than O'Sullivan Babodana was actually a non-runner on Monday, not a loser. I only remember this as it was my NAP of the day.:wall

Re: Horse racing : How often do leaders lose? It can work both ways though. At Cheltenham Noland was way back under Ruby Walsh at the bottom of the hill and was trading at 1000 on betfair. I'd already had a wedge on at 10/1 and managed to get some more at 40 in running, the horse duly obliged. What i'm getting at here is, if you know a horse that finishes well, you can get over inflated odds in running.

Re: Tree Peace Sweet Once again i find myself thanking you! You and a couple of others including WFTE pointed me in the direction of Senor Set, I had a quick look and thought it had to be worth a few points. Advised a couple of friends too, and now I'm flavour of the week.:nana

Re: Carrying a penalty but ridden by a claimer
I took 2.6 on betfair at 10am. Watched the race and it was never in danger, the jockey eased him right down to a virtual walking pace at the end to just win narrowly from a rapidly-finishing Happy Hussar (?). However, might struggle on heavier ground and/or with more weight.Took the 6-4 and went out' date= came back and gutted to see SP of 11-4. Did it run well? -
Re: Carrying a penalty but ridden by a claimer Aye, me too! In for a penny, in for a pound.

Re: Tree Peace Sweet Welcome back, Rooster, we missed you! Hopefully you can pick up where you left off: 3 out of 4 before you went away!

Re: Winning with Massey No worries, mate. I must have subconsciously grasped System B, because I backed them myself this morning. I've been out all day and just seen your message and bunged a quick on tenner on the only one that hadn't already run: Southerndown for a place at 4.8, so happy days again. I always go for the place bet if your system picks are over 8/1.
-
Re: Massey's Placepots I decided to do these today for the first time and the 3 losing meetings were very close to being successful too.

Re: Massey's Placepots Isn't newmarket 8 bets?:unsure

Re: Daily donkeys. As do I. In fact I back most of them too, so please keep them coming. (However, I won't beg to a Rovers fan!)

Re: 19:25 - Exeter I give up with Border Music on turf now, I really do. It's going to be one of those A/W only winners.
-
Re: 19:25 - Exeter Took 3.75 this morning, so fingers crossed. I've also backed Border Music in the 7.10 at Catterick, as I feel it's only a matter of time before it reproduces its AW form on the Turf. Frankie Dettori rode a stinker on it last time out and Dwyer is replaced by Jamie Spencer tonight and I feel that this should be enough for a maiden turf win. 2 singles and a double. (1pt each bet)

Re: Trainers Picks Live Trail I went on Betfair and Hawkit was at 8.7, Mytton's at 70 (16 for a place). So I actually backed Hawkit to win and Myttons to place, just a couple of points on each, made 28pts on the bets: so thanks, again.

Re: Trainers Picks Live Trail
Both placed: 50/1 :clap and 8/1:clap. Nice E/W bets there, thanks!Monday 8th May Mytton's Pride 6.40A Hawkit 7.40A -
Re: Winning with Massey
A bad day' date=' what has happened. I hope no-one has bet too big on your selections lately, don't take this the wrong way.[/quote'] Unnecessary and unneeded comment IMO. Gambling consists of good, not so good and bad days. That's par for the course. WFTE's system is still a good one, regardless of isolated days here and there. -
Re: Daily donkeys. Echelon doesn't run mate, I've backed Musicanna in its place. I'm also with you on Degas Art, I hope it can bear our weight!!!:eek
-
Re: Sunday's Trier I bloody well hope it is a trier. 1. I've backed it 2. It's a 7/4 favourite in a field of 8.

Re: 1000 Guineas Thread
I certainly would. Because that would be the right thing to do.traf ... would you offer an apology if I proved it to one of the moderators on here? -
Re: 1000 Guineas Thread 100k, you're havin' a laugh! 100k, you're havin' a laugh! 100k, you're havin' a laugh! etc etc etc ad nauseum:loon
The Big 5 System
in Betting Systems & Strategy
Posted
Re: The Big 5 System I did these for the first time today on the 2 Finnish games. You made a 30pt profit on two games: I assume you a betting 20pt level stakes on each scoreline. I decided to "dutch" them so that any winning result produced a set return, I actually lost 15 points my way!:wall However, i now understand the theory: we are simply increasinng the returns on so-called "home bankers" we'd have backed at 1.4 and 1.5 normally. I like it!:ok
