Re: Jackpot Sit and Go's Well, ok - 10 people are willing to cheat then its fine! Obviously! Silly me! My problem started when you offered "your help" in your original post. And that you think cheating in online poker - for whatever reason, is ok. It isn't. I apologise if I've missed your point :)
-
Re: Jackpot Sit and Go's Also,(and I've tried to stay out of this so far), when you "help" an individual at a table whether in an sng, cash game or anything else , the pure and simple fact is that the other people in that game, that have paid to enter are being cheated from their money and actually the internet site does not suffer as much as the player from the effects of collusion. What do you perceive that the other plasyers have done to deserve sitting down at a game where the advantage of everybody playing for themselves as individuals has been taken anyway. Furthermore, I don't think comments like the ones you have made are very good for people who are looking at forums with a view to starting to play real money and are worried about the risk of people cheating in online poker. If you were as good as you claim you are, cheating would never have crossed your tiny mind

Re: David Sklansky gets out of bed the wrong side
all of this maybe true.. i certainly wasn't just factoring in his tournament abilities when I posted.. I sometimes feel a little frustrated when people are so quick to knock people who play this game professionally - was the point i was obviously failing to make :\I'm not sure if he actually HAS made any money playing tournaments. He enters a lot of them and I don't know if his cashes outweigh his buy-ins. If they do I think it's only on account of the numerous invitational tournaments he gets to play nowadays. Sklansky is an extremely bright guy and I have loads of respect for him (I used to argue religion with him over on 2+2 all the time), but it's no secret that he's not a very good tournament player. He's a cash player primarily, and a limit specialist at that, and excellent at that particular game. But there's a good reason for there being astronomical odds on him winning major tourneys despite being a well known poker pro/celeb. -
Re: David Sklansky gets out of bed the wrong side The last two things he can claim is not much...?! how about the last two years - have you made that amount of money playing poker in that time..l suugest you go and write a book if you have...:tongue2

Re: Contrary thinking Oh dear, I've just read some reviews on amazon of his theories - doesn't sound like a very sensible way of playing poker to me.. but each to their own I guess Edit (speeeling)

Re: Rounder tournies
All of the rounders game over the prima network will be populated by the same players as its only a skin. So the qality will not be any different to the rounders on 32red, royal vegas etcJust found them on ladbrokes.. but the structure is slightly different. I prefer more payout places. I see Spin Palace is on Prima's list. Anyone have any experience of the rounders on there? -
Re: Poker Novice Questions lol Yeah, rebuys generally stop after the first hour break
