  1. Re: come to belfast?

So looks like i have to post alot if i want to play' date=' i live in Ireland can you just talk crap in posts just to build them up lol?[/quote'] I don't think it works quite like that, ;). But I'm sure you've got plenty of time to make a valuable contribution.
  2. Re: Online Poker Rooms Hi, If you want sites that offer micro limit nl tables there are a few. In no particular order.. Ipoker network (betfred, titan, cdpoker, noble etc) - games from 1/2c As GaF said, Boss Network, (sporting odds, Virgin, poker.co.uk) Poker Stars (games from 1/2c) Prima Network (32red, The Gaming Club, Stan James to name just a few) go from 5/10c I believe. There must be more. If you can stretch yourself a little bit further to play 10c/20c blinds then the vast majority of sites should be able to accomodate you Your only decision now, is which sites deserve your money. To help your money stretch a bit further, it well worth a look comparing which sites offer the best sign up bonuses and whether its possible/realistic to clear them on the stakes you intend to play Good luck

  3. Re: Survey??? I got that too I started to fill it out.. and I don't know why but something told me it wasn't right. I scrapped it. But I could just be paranoid

  4. Re: Muppet city well, Gaf, you know I hate to disagree with you - and who am i to differ with Jesus.. but - although i go along with that point of view to an extent- after all, I'm not exactly worried about the petrol, if I'm sat at home playing via the net. however, i still see two issues - firstly - i've still paid money to get into this event and I don't see going all in with 95 as a particularly brilliant way to spend this money and secondly, while i still have an M of 13 in this tourney - I still have some equity. I realise we can't wait for aces and kings before we make our move, but all the same. Essentially, what ever is going to be said, when you're all in vs me, i'm going to be happy if you';ve got 95o most of the time - because mostly - i'm going to beat you

  5. Re: Muppet city fast reply to foolsgold yes, of course. If you're gone you're gone and who cares what people think (unless they 're taking notes about what a silly call you are willing to make with an M of 13, but thats a whole other debate) What I was actually trying to demonstrate, is that surely, your table reputation, although important, is secondary to survival in the tournament. Yes, its important to go in while your stack can still make an impression, but looking at 95 - I think my hand can be beaten by so many other hands, So I'm not going to bother for a round or so. Personally (and this is just my two cents, your mileage may vary, its only an opinion - standard disclaimer), it was not a very bright move. IF the player does not mind risking his tourney on such a play - fair enough. My only point in making was that surely the risk of such a move outweighs the potential benefits

  6. Re: Muppet city

More importantly, IMO, once a table's seen you go all in with 59, then hey, you're laughing. They're convinced you're a maniac, you tighten up, and holy cow, you have a bunch of bunnies.
or, alternatively.. once a table'ss seen you go all in with 59 and you LOSE, they can think, "well, serves him right for going all in with 59- hes obviously an idiot"
  7. Re: Muppet city Oh Gaf, Knowing that statistically you're going to lose one in five of hands where you have aces and he has feck all doesn't make it any better at the time :(

  8. Re: Party Poker Well, I've tried. I don't consider myself to be a bad low limit cash game and small stake sng player and every now and then...i think to myself, I'll give Party a go. I don't know what it is, cloud, but I just can't win money on that site. I either lose their sngs or I sit there for hours in possibly the tightest cash games I've ever seen. One thing that really annoys me is one can't see the total number of players seeing a flop when selecting a tourney. Anyway - for whatever reason, I just can't do it.

  9. I've never posted a hand history before. But I've had such a bad few days that I thought I'd better see if I've just been unlucky or I have a problem I just can't see.. So heres two. 10. Re: Best Book or how to improve

:nana :nana That is amazing I won a MTT last night on Ladbrokes. Ok there were only 36 runners but it was $50 a piece and a win of $720. I can't beleive it. I can't get a picture of the table to paste for some reason. Sorry I haven't made your private game yet but I will and have taken note of the Harrington books which have really helped. Thanks Guys
Fantastic - well done - :clap:clap No better feeling imo than the first mtt win (although I may change my mind when I win the main event at the wsop :eek)
