Re: Clare Balding to take over as the face of Channel 4 racing I don't mind her tbh. Does this mean we don't have to watch the cringeworthy Mike Cattermole/Emma Spencer lovefest? Please be so. Keep McCririck, Francome & Holt and get the rest to frick.

Re: A little help understanding racing terms Thanks. What I meant by the 3 numbers tho was that, for example Aye Aye Digby in the 3.40 is 7-9-9 in the weights
-
I'm relatively new to horse racing, or trying to look into a race before I bet should I say. There's a couple of things I need help understanding if that's possible. Mostly weight-related. I understand that the figures after a horse on a card are weights in stones and pounds eg. Bornean in the 2.10 Brighton is 9-3 but what if theres 3 digits? is the 3rd the handicap weights? What does 6ex mean next to a trainer? And lastly, if the form has certain numbers in bold, does this mean the race was in the same group or what? Thanks for any help guys.

Re: Ligue 2 > 3rd - 4th August I'm normally the same. Made my big profits from gut instincts last season like Swansea beating MC, Chelsea's late goal in Camp Nou and Rangers beating celtc. Hard to post reasoned bets using gut feelings though haha.

Re: Weekend > SPL > 28 - 29 April Really like Rangers odds. Were close to 5.00 with Boylesports and can get them above evens on the +0.5 handicap with Bet365. Will go into more detail later in week.

Re: scotty657 BOTH TO SCORE system Thanks guys. Been an absolute disaster today but confident in the future.

Re: scotty657 BOTH TO SCORE system I'm welcome to anything people may advise to make it better. I'm new to this so maybe theres a staking system that would make more sense? Or just anything people reckon I could improve on.

Had an idea for a both teams to score system and I don't remember seeing one in my time here. This is a paper trail. The criteria for the matches I will select are as follows: Scored 6 in last 8 [home team 6 in 8 at home|away team 6 in 8 away] Scored in last game [home or away] Scored in 50% of last games H2H same fixture. It's very simple but would like to refine for next season, so giving it a run out for the rest of this season. Startingbank 100pt. A flat stake sytem using 5pt a selection. I will be covering all major leagues in Europe only just now.

Re: UEFA Champions League > Wednesday 4 April Chelsea v Benfica -> Chelsea -1 15/8, Bet365 In this seasons Champions League, Chelsea have overcame the -1 handicap with ease in all home games. Stamford Bridge is notoriously a difficult place to visit and the very compact pitch leaves the opposition with no time to think. Only 1 goal has been conceded at home by this Chelsea side - in a 3-1 win v Napoli [90 mins]. Benfica actually only lost once away this season - to Zenit in the last round - although the drew 3 and won 2 which were expected. Luisao is a major doubt, alongside the injured Garay and midfield holder Javi Garcia may have to play in defence. Real Madrid v APEOL -> Over 3,5 8/11, Bet365 With rumours of Madrid swapping about some of the starting team, I see it as an opportunity for some players to impress v an APOEL team who can't harbour much hope of qualification, but will be here to try and keep things respectable. Real Madrid have averaged 4 goals a game at home in this seasons CL, some v supposed greater quality opponents. I expect an early goal to finish things off and a few more throughout the game. APOEL coach Ivan Jovanovic - who has a few injuries to deal with - has admitted the tie is over and is trying to get out the Bernabeu in the best fashion possible. Also will be on over 1,5 1st half goals at 29/40 with Bet365.

Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 3 April Barcelona v AC Milan -> Under 2,5 goals 8/5 Bet365 Expected line-ups: Barcelona: Valdes; Alves, Mascherano, Pique, Puyol; Xavi, Busquets, Iniesta; Pedro, Messi, Fabregas. Milan: Abbiati; Abate, Nesta, Mexes, Antonini; Ambrosini, Nocerino, Seedorf; Boateng; Robinho, Ibrahimovic. The reason I will go for under 2,5 in this match is that I fancy Milan to start off very defensively and try to break on the counter to grab a possibly vital away goal. They showed in the 1st leg they are very capable of holding off Barcelona's attacking threat, or at least keeping it to a minimum. Abate is back tonight and comes in for Bonera which will strenghten the defence, and also add a new attacking threat. Messi has a really poor goalscoring record v Italian opposition, only scoring once in seven tries. If Milan keep him quiet again, it will help diminsh Barca's goalscoring chance as Fabregas or Pedro are not out and out strikers. A very disciplined perfromance from Milan is needed for this bet. Maybe cover with a 2-1 Barca scoreline. :hope

Re: Head-to Head Meetings
As far as Rangers go, the game is a sell-out, there is a certain feeling of togetherness up here after what happened and I have a feeling we're going to steamroll Kilmarnock. The fans will absolutely be a 12th man today.ROMA..... my favourite Serie A team - they rarely let you down at home. Not sure about Rangers with all their problems this week.... but good luck :ok -
Re: Head-to Head Meetings He means when he checks H2H's on the site they seem to differ from the stats you post.

Re: Italy - Coppa Italia - 18th & 19th January At the same time relegation battling teams don't expect points off teams such as Milan. Anything is a bonus.
-
Re: Italy - Coppa Italia - 18th & 19th January But maybe Novara could treat this game as a better chance to get a result v the Rossoneri, especially going into a home game?
