  1. Re: Coupe de France > February 10th - 12th Metz vs Brest The draw is already completed, so the winner of this match will be hosted Auxerre (7th in the Ligue 2) in the quarterfinals. As you said, in theory - only two places separate L1's bottom club Metz from L2's second-placed side Brest, the far east side against the far west side. Nevertheless, Metz won Ligue 2 last year when they were twenty points ahead of Brest whom they defeated both times without conceding a goal then (3:0, 1:0). Let's get back into the present when both teams are in bad shape and when league points are much needed for both of them. So this competition is certainly not the main the priority, but the placement in the quarterfinals would bring desirable and necessary confidence and optimism before their decisive matches of the season. Metz lost the second consecutive away game with identical result (0:2) and for the same reason (early red card, both times by the same player lol). Coach Albert Cartier decided to rest a couple of defensive starters tonight (Bussmann and N'Daw) and in a squad will be neither suspended duo (Sarr and Milan), nor the most experienced player Malouda due to injury. Good news is that two midfielders (Ikaunieks and Sassi) will debut, while another midfielder Doukouré, fresh from winning AFCON 2015 with the Côte d'Ivoire, is tipped to return to action. On the other hand, Brest played the last game on Monday, so they had two days off less prior to this meeting. Then they defeated even though they had the lead at half time, also lost two points in the previous game having conceded a goal in injury time. So we can say that their moral and mental strength is not at the required level, and that they are more tired than tonight's host. Coach Alex Dupont can count on defender Miombe (who is back from suspension), but still there are three injured key players: Alphonse (top scorer), Grougi (2nd best scorer) and Beloud (key midfielder). Their only hope may be a few new players who have recently arrived at the club, but I'm not convinced of that so I recommend... 2. Re: West Bromwich Albion v Swansea City > Wednesday February 11th Darren Fletcher is a new captain of home team, while striker Anichebe is doubtful for this game. Sigurdsson is out for away team, but midfielder Routledge is fit. Otherwise, Swansea won in the three of last four visits to the Hawthorns. probable line-ups Foster - Wisdom, McAuley, Dawson, Lescott - Gardner, Fletcher - McManaman, Morrison, Brunt - Berahino Fabianski - Naughton, Williams, Fernandez, Taylor - Ki, Shelvey - Dyer, Oliveira, Montero - Gomis

  3. Re: Stoke City v Manchester City > Wednesday February 11th Stoke is in better shape and have no defeat against Man City in the EPL games at Britannia in the last six years (even won the first h2h game this season). However, they will be without Krki?, Odemwingie (strikers), Shawcross, Wilson, Pieters (defenders) and midfielder Ireland. Arnautovic is fit, but not expected in the starting line-up. On the other side, Pellegrini will be without Bony and Toure after their Africa Cup of Nations win with Ivory Coast. probable line-ups Begovi? - Bardsley, Wollscheid, Muniesa, Cameron - N’Zonzi, Whelan - Walters, Adam, Moses - Diouf Hart - Zabaleta, Kompany, Demichelis, Clichy - Fernandinho, Fernando - Navas, Silva, Milner - Agüero

  4. Re: Manchester United v Burnley > Wednesday February 11th Man Utd will be without a long-term injured Carrick and suspended Shaw, while away coach Sean Dyche can't count on regular midfielder Marney who will miss the rest of the season due to injury. probable line-ups De Gea - Jones, Blind, Rojo - A. Valencia, Fellaini, Mata, Di Maria - Rooney - Van Persie, Falcao Heaton - Trippier, Shackell, Keane, Mee - Arfield, Jones, Kightly, Boyd - Ings, Barnes

  5. Re: Serie A TIM > February 11th - 15th Parma vs Chievo Hast Gill has already mentioned players who left Parma, I might add another two who won't play in this match: defensive regulars Costa and Gobbi due to injury. However, it's worth mentioning that the club has a new owner (the second in the last month) so maybe can be expected a little more optimism among them. Chievo have no problems with absences, but they didn't beat Parma in the last 11 mutual matches. Very important game for both sides and with regard that referee will be Gianluca Rocchi (showed 11 red cards in the last 12 games), I wouldn't be surprised if we see another red card here.

  6. Re: Coupe de France > February 10th - 12th Red Star vs Saint-Etienne Red Star, for many unknown club, was actually won this competition five times (only one less than Saint-Etienne), also they have recently been known for the quality of youth academy (sounds unbelievable, but no less than five players at the 2014 World Cup had played in the club's youth teams). They won't play in their stadium, but at Stade Jean Bouin and I expect they will have the support of all 20 thousand fans (considering that their ambitious president wanted this game to be played at Stade de France and because Saint-Étienne will be without their travelling contingent for this game). Red Star is in great shape and have a nice opportunity to reach the Ligue 2, which is their main goal this season, but certainly won't overlook this game despite playing a Capital derby on Saturday. Coach Sebastien Robert can't count on the second best scorer D. Bellion (ex Man Utd and Bordeaux player), but the rest of the experienced team (Hameur Bouazza is a key player) is fit and rested cause they haven't played a game in the last round. On the other side, ASSE is in bad shape, haven't had a break last weekend and will play a very important away game against Bordeaux in the struggle for fourth place on Sunday. Christophe Galtier's men played as many eight games (without a win in the last six) this year and it's a problem for them because there are a lot of injured players. Clerc, Gradel, Pogba and Diomande are a long-term injuries, while Sall, Cohade, Corgnet and Monnet-Paque are this year's absents. In addition to all these, the team will be weakened for a key midfielder Lemoine due to suspension, so expect a few U19 players in the away line-up. No doubt, Saint-Etienne, in spite of all these facts, is the favorite for the next round - but the value is still on the home side. Red Star +0,5 @2.32 with Pinnacle

  7. Re: Serie A TIM > February 7th - 9th You've already said a lot, I can just add a bit... Genoa have as many as seven wins in a row against Lazio, so I expect that they will again play offensively (top assistant Bertolacci is back from suspension and a new striker is experienced Borriello) against tonight's hosts, although are in bad shape. Defender Antonelli moved to Milan, and another three (Burdisso, Antonini, Marchese) are out. On the other hand, Lazio is highly motivated to stop the bad streak against Genoa, as well as to join the fight for third place. Stefano Pioli has a lot of injured players still (Ciani, Braafheid, Pereirinha, Gentiletti, Luli?, ?or?evi?, Tounkara), but regulars Radu and Biglia served their suspension, the best defender de Vrij and a key man Felipe Anderson are fit again. I expect a very interesting game, and if we see an early goal I believe that there will be at least three at Olimpico tonight. LAZIO (4-3-3): Marchetti; Basta, de Vrij, Cana, Radu; Parolo, Biglia, Cataldi; Candreva, Klose, Mauri. All.Pioli. GENOA (4-3-3): Perin; Roncaglia, De Maio, Izzo, Edenilson; Rincon, Bertolacci, Kucka; Iago Falque, Perotti, Niang. All. Gasperini. over 2,5 @1,91 with Pinnacle

  8. Re: Australia » Hyundai A-League » 6-15 Feb Newcastle Jets vs Brisbane Roar Jets have only one win in 15 games with a goal difference, they've lost 7:0 in the last game which led to many changes in the club. President, four members of the coaching staff and five regular players left the team. The current champions are playing better away from home this season and beat Jets in the last duel with 4:0. They'll be without top scorer Henrique, but key defender North returns from suspension. B. Kennedy, Gallagher, Welsh, Mullen, S. Neville, Regan, Kantarovski, Caravella, Hoole, T. Cooper, Montano Theo, Polenz, Donachie, Stefanutto, C. Brown, Brattan, Sarota, McKay, Broich, Solorzano, Borello I expect away win but the odds are low for me, no bet.

  9. Re: Netherlands > Eredivisie > 2014/15

Ajax vs AZ Ajax haven't scored in the last two games and played very bad, so they'll likely remain without the title after winning four seasons in a row. On the other hand, team from Alkmaar played solid recently and they are very motivated to reach the place that brings direct placement in the Europe next season. I'm not saying that the hosts won't be fired up, especially in front of their own fans at ArenA, but the momentum is currently on the away side. Ajax have three straight wins against this opponent, but AZ managed to go undefeated back home from four of their last five performances in Amsterdam. Frank de Boer has considerable issues with missing players: striker Sigthorsson (5g), offensive midfielders Serero (1g) and captain Klaassen (5g, 8ass), and the best defender Veltman (3g) are out, while a regular goalie Cillissen is in doubt (2nd and 3rd choices are injured). However, a new midfielder from H'veen Sinkgraven, who is a great talent of the Dutch football, will probably make its debut. Away coach John van den Brom has only one important absence and it is defensive midfielder Ortiz who broke his arm in the last game. Also, left back Poulsen is doubtful. AZ +0.75 @2.20 with Pinnacle

  10. Re: Netherlands > Eredivisie > 2014/15 Heracles vs Groningen Heracles will be without injured defensive midfielder Pelupessy, as well as the two best players Tannane (top scorer) & Bel Hassani (top assistant) due to suspension from the club. On the other side, Groningen have a few long-term injured players and a few doubtful. Both teams are struggling: hosts for survival in the league and guests for the play-off. Groningen is in much better shape and have six consecutive victories against Heracles. Everything smells like easy away win and the odds are very, very attractive... But keep in mind that the game will be played on an artificial pitch and that Groningen (scored only eight goals in ten away matches so far) coming after three games at their Euroborg. No bet
