Sligo Rovers - Galway United Both teams have lost in the last round, although have played solid. Sligo will have the Estonian attacking midfielder S. Puri back to squad and topscorer D. Corcoran is expected in the starting line-up. On the other hand, defender S. Folan and midfielder J. Russell are missing. Players will be highly motivated to stop a series of three defeats and to show their best at the new coach. Galway play surprising this season, but the opposite of tonight's opponents, surprisingly well. They would be with the eventual victory came in the top half of the table and for sure that's their goal before tough matches against the leader on Tuesday. Limerick - Bray Wanderers This will be only the second match at Market's Field for Limerick so is expected great support of their fans again. The team will have several new players available in this important match for survival. On the other side, the Seagulls are in a financial crisis and have lost their manager and coaching staff for the second time this season. Home odds are in great decline, but if you have somewhere around $2.50 at the local still that is acceptable to take.

Drogheda vs Dundalk is the Louth derby and will be on TV. Guests are hot favorites, though they haven't won at Hunky Dorys Park in the last three matches. Anything is possible in this local derby, but your local odds are very attractive and I would definitely take $1.52 for Dundalk win (since the average odds online is around $1.25).

Dundalk 13 2 1 (38:6) The title defence couldn’t have gone any better for the Lilywhites. Midfielders R. Towell and D. Horgan (the best performers of the league so far) led the best team in Ireland in recent years, imo. They have only one artificial pitch in the league and they know how to take advantage of it, hopefully also in the European contest. Their only small flaw is the lack of another quality striker, but even so they are definitely the biggest contender for the title.
Cork City 11 5 1 (30:9) The Leesiders have the highest attendance in the league again this year, and they provided the reasons for supporters to continue coming at Turner's Cross. John Caulfield has at his disposal the best players in the league on paper, a combination of young talents (J. Kavanagh is probably the best right back in the country) and experienced former internationals (A. Bennett, C. Healy, L. Miller). With a quality of Dennehy brothers and a lethal striker K. Sheppard they'll surely try to reach the top.
Shamrock Rovers 9 7 1 (28:11) Arrival of Pat Fenlon at a coaching position at the end of last season proved to be the right decision for the most successful club in the country. The Hoops are much improved teamwork (more defensive than offensive) since then, but it's obvious that the team hasn't yet raised the quality of play to the required level to fight for the title (with as many as seven draws so far). Striker M. Drennan is definitely their biggest star, but if someone else doesn't join him, this won't be the season to taste of their fans.
St. Patrick's 9 4 4 (28:15) The Saints are 10 points behind leaders currently and it certainly is not in line with their ambitions. Reason for this can be justified with a series of injuries in the team (in the defense especially), but we should point their midfield (C. Forrester, C. Byrne, K. Brennan, J. Chambers and G. Bolger) which is among the best in the league definitely. However, they need better luck with injuries and the arrival of some new players who would improve their solid team if they want to join in the struggle for the top..
Bohemians 9 4 4 (23:17) The oldest club in the country is the biggest surprise in the first half of the season in their 125th anniversary year of existence. Not even their most optimistic fans couldn't imagine such a good performance of the club so far. D. Delany probably showed the highest quality of all goalkeeper in the league so far, L. Fitzgerald is one of the best deliverers from set pieces in the league and the rest of the team is harmoniously composed of young (A. Evans, D. Kelly, R. Lopes) and experienced (A. Murphy, D. Prendergast) players - without the need for the new changes.
Longford Town 5 4 7 (16:19) Last year's champion of the First Division have completed half of the season in the top half of the table which is certainly a success for the club from a small town with only 10 thousand inhabitants. This happened mostly thanks to a very experienced defensive line - P. Flynn, C. Powell, S. Rice and P. Sullivan who all played European matches wearing the jersey of Shamrock Rovers in the past. Captain M. Salmon and talented youngster A.B. Mohamed were key midfielders, still need to improve in attack.
Galway United 6 0 10 (21:29) The president's club made a great comeback to the elite so far, in their matches have over three goals in average and the Tribesman are the only club that hasn't yet played a draw. They have young strikers in good shape (E. Curran, J. Keegan, P. Cunningham), a solid midfield (D. O'Leary, R. Connolly, G. Shanahan), but defense is definitely a big wound for this team. Only S. Walshe was played at required level, others have to significantly improve performance, but also the club should bring the goalkeeper who will be a regular in goal.
Drogheda United 5 3 9 (18:27) A new manager Johnny McDonnell was able to organize a team that has provided performance over their expectations, no matter what they are in the bottom half of the table. Captain M. Daly and A. Byrne were key players in the defense, S. Thonton and L. Duffy were the best in their midfield, but but the attack was their weakness. Only D. Kavanagh singled out by playing well, but even he left the team a few days ago. So it's clear that absence of good attackers is their biggest concern for the rest of the season.
Derry City 3 6 8 (12:22) When the only club from Northern Ireland have better record on the road than at the Brandywell we know that something is not going well for the Candystripes. Although they are known by good young talents, this is perhaps too young team where experienced goalkeeper G. Doherty was their best player this season. Brothers McEleney with a few midfielders (M. Timlin, B. McNamee) were are holders of the team, but it wasn't enough for better performance. The biggest concern is the lack of quality strikers especially after the departure of experienced A. Elding recently.
Sligo Rovers 2 6 8 (16:29) The Bit'o'Red are absolutely the biggest disappointment in the league so far. Before the start of the season they are rated among the teams that will fight for a place in European competition, but the reality is that they have two wins from 16 matches. Everyone at the club were below their level, including manager O. Heary who is no longer there (ex player J. Ndo is currently taking charge of the team). Probably the only one worth mentioning is the club's top scorer D. Corcoran, and it's certain that big changes are necessary there.
Bray Wanderers 3 2 11 (11:31) The Seagulls are the only team that has changed coach so far and T. Croly (ex Shamrock manager) is headed now. Although they have off-field troubles (their stadium, which is the oldest in Ireland, is owned by Rugby League now) change of coach has brought the improvement of form and results. The best individuals are young goalkeeper S. McGuinness and captain D. Cassidy, but they need to improve both the defense and the attack looking at stats in the first half of the season.
Limerick 0 5 11 (12:34) Although they had financial problems before the start of the season only a few had expected to Limerick will be the only team without a victory in the half the season. The team urgently need a few new faces in defense and attack in order to have any chance of survival in the league. Back to Market's Field will certainly affect positively on their passing football and on the players among which only midfielders S. Duggan and S. Russell were good so far. -
Yes, the game will be played in Paisley (less than 20 km from Glasgow) and it is certain that Celtic will have support of their fans tonight (the first friendly game this season for both clubs). The Bhoys missing only C. Commons who is their most creative player, on the other hand a new defender D. Boyata (from Man City) will debut.

I was gonna to agree with kevshat about over in Mexico v Ecuador game, but recent news suggests that Aldrete (who had been one of Mexico's best players over the first two games of the Copa America) won't be fit. There was more positive news for 36-year-old center-back Marquez, whose swift recovery from a hamstring injury should mean he is ready to face Ecuador. Captain Rafa Marquez has tournament experience that no other player under Herrera's command can boast and should prove a useful asset, so I gave up on over.

1:1 :)Serbian mentality is very strange - young players who play in smaller clubs give their best when they play for the national team due to securing a better future (playing in bigger clubs). It is completely the opposite to those senior and more famous players who wouldn't want to risk getting injuries playing for the national team because the club salaries are what is much more important to them. Serbia's record (as Yugoslavia and Serbia and Montenegro) is impressive – in eight final tournament appearances, they have finished winners once, runners-up three times, and reached the semi-finals on three other occasions. Only once have they not survived the group stage. U20 qualified for the final of the World Cup this morning, so that their morale will be high so it may compensate the absence of several important players. I don't see the value in Germany (which is fairly better team) this time. Good luck!

The Czech Republic are somewhat short of real match practice due to their host nation status, last playing a competitive game back in 2013 in which both Tomas Kalas (most caps) and Vaclav Kadlec (top scorer) were sent off and in turn are suspended for the opener with Denmark. Both are key players and it will be a problem for them, also the Czechs suffered a major blow ahead of the tournament as Watford owner Giampaolo Pozzo blocked Matej Vydra's call-up to the U21 side. All other players are playing in their domestic league without a lot of experience, so you should expect a very defensive game from them. Denmark was unbeaten throughout qualifying, topping Group 2 with 26 points, second only to England. Scored 37 goals in 10 group games, six more than anyone else. Jess Thorup took over the team three years ago, and they haven''t suffered defeat since then. What is particularly Danes stand out is the fact that he is within its mandate promoted 10 senior NT players, all of whom will be present at the European Championships. Denmark have several big players missing but have still managed to secure a ridiculously talented set of 23 players for the tournament. There are several doubtful regulars, but we should expect that all be fit for this very important match.
