Cape Verde (Blue Sharks) http://tubaroesazuis2013.cv/ FIFA (CAF) ranking: 75 (19) WC appearances: - ACN appearances: 1 Stadiums and weather: Estádio da Várzea, Praia (sea level) - 10.000 http://www.myweather2.com/City-Town/Cape-Verde-Islands/Praia.aspx Domestic league: May - July Coach: Lúcio Antunes (since July 2010), local coach has a great knowledge of the Island’s football following his steady rise from the youth to the senior level. He was known as a friend of Jose Mourinho, and how he managed to lead team to the first major tournament. gk: Fock and Vózinha are the best goalies, but without experience of playing in Europe. df: G. Ramos and F.Varela have remained the best defenders (playing regularly in Europe) as a long-time captain Nando retired this year. mf: Babanco, M. Soares, T. Varela and Platini are the best among midfielders who play mostly in Portugal. fw: Heldon, R. Mendes, O. Fortes, J. Tavares and Ze Luis make the strongest part of the team. + a very small country with a lot of talented players (also Viera, Larsson and Nani are Cape Verdean origin). - lack of experienced players (no starter has 30 or more years).

Cameroon (the Indomitable Lions) http://www.fecafootonline.com/ FIFA (CAF) ranking: 60 (10) WC appearances: 6 (1982, 1990, 1994, 1998, 2002, 2010) ACN appearances: 16 (Winner 1984, 1988, 2000, 2002) Stadiums and weather: Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo, Yaounde - 39.000 http://www.myweather2.com/City-Town/Cameroon/Yaounde.aspx Domestic league: February - October Coach: Jean-Paul Akono (since September 2012), guided Cameroon to Olympic gold in 2000, but failed to lead team to this year's ACN (since he took over the team before the second leg match against Cape Verde). So it is expected that some better known coach, probably from Europe, replacing him in the near future. gk: C. Kameni, C. Itandje and Guy Ndy Assembe are all experienced goalkeepers who are playing in solid European teams. df: D. Nounkeu, A. Chedjou, Kana-Biyik, S. Bassong, J. Matip and N. N'Koulou are a very good group of central defenders, while B. Assou-Ekotto and H. Bedimo are the best fullbacks, also from top European clubs. mf: A. Song, J. Makoun, S. M'Bia, L. N'Guémo and A. Emaná are very experienced midfielders who play regularly in their clubs. fw: captain S. Eto'o, M. Idrissou, P. Webo, B. Moukandjo, L. Kweuke and V. Aboubakar are their the best strikers. + a couple of world class players and a lot of experienced guys. - poor working with youth team selections and bad coaching situation.

Goes to show' date='I should have listened to my gut instinct and gone for the overs in the Limerick game but instead I chickened out.Limerick are scoring for fun at the minute. Now I've gone for the over 1.5 in the Shamrock Rovers game but they look so poor I doubt they can even score 1. Will stick to Limerick in the future;)[/quote'] I hope we will have the opportunity to see more of your posts in this thread. Always good to see the opinion of someone from Ireland. :ok

  6. Re: Serie A > 27th - 29th April

It all makes sense now. :cigar Otherwise, I thought Inter has no great chances for a good result in Sicily. They undeservedly won against Parma in the last round, and they had three straight defeats before. After all, they will again be without a lot of players (Obi, Mudingayi, Milito, Castellazzi, Nagatomo, Stanković, Palacio, Cassano, Mbaye, Gargano, Cambiasso, Guarin, Samuel) of whom seven are regulars. On the other side, coach Guiseppe Sannino returned to the club which is increased trust among players lately. The hosts will also be fired up for Miccoli return from suspension, so it seems to me that odds are correctly placed.
A much better choice would be defeat by a couple of goals for other Sicilians in Milan in the evening.;)
Milan vs Catania Milan are fighting for third place and the place in the Champions League with Fiorentina, so I expect them to be highly motivated at San Siro where have never lost a league match against Catania. Goalkeeper Abbiati, defender Zapata and midfielder Ambrosini are out, but Massimiliano Allegri has a very experienced substitutes for them (Amelia, Bonera and Flamini). A big boost will be the return of Balotelli who is going with El Shaarawy and Boateng to be the biggest threat for the visitors. Away side is five points away from European League place, and they're one of the worst teams on the road in the league. Also, their morale and confidence can't be high after conceding a goal in the 95th minute in the big derby versus Palermo in the last round. Goalkeeper Andujar, who has played all games this season, is suspended - as well as regular defenders Spolli and Bellusci. Another starting defender Alvarez is injured, and midfielder Izco is in doubt. I can see a convincing win for the Rossoneri and have attractive odds at local bookie (kladionica soccer) @1.98, otherwise... Milan (-1) EH or (-1,5) AH @1.90 Pinnacle or Paddy Power low stake

This can be just irrelevant detail, but let's look at h2h games between these two lately... 11/12 Atalanta 3:3 Bologna 09/10 Atalanta 1:1 Bologna 08/09 Atalanta 3:3 Bologna 04/05 Atalanta 3:3 Bologna 02/03 Atalanta 4:1 Bologna 01/02 Atalanta 1:4 Bologna So we have a equal score between them in the last several seasons in Serie A and taking into consideration that Bologna has won three points last autumn we should expect a victory for Atlaanta (only in this unreliable scenario). Actually I missed one season when these two teams have played in Serie B... 05/06 Atalanta 4:1 Bologna 12/13 Atalanta 0:3 Bologna ...according to this view, it is obvious that there will be draw on Saturday. :\ I'm pretty stoned, so apologies if this post makes no sense :)

  10. Re: La Liga > 26th - 29th April Both teams will be motivated because they are struggling for second place, but... Real has a return match against Borussia on Tuesday, while Atletico celebrates 110 years of existence today. This is why the home team going to be more motivated. Also, Diego Simeone has no a new absences (midfielders Turan and Tiago are injured for a while), on the other hand Jose Mourinho will be without star player Ronaldo, defenders Arbeloa, Marcelo, Ramos and Coentrao, and some starters who will be on the bench (X. Alonso). probable line-ups

    • Courtois, Juanfran, Miranda, Godin, Filipe Luis, Koke, Suarez, Gabi, C. Rodriguez, Falcao, D. Costa
    • D. Lopez, Nacho, Carvalho, Pepe, Albiol, Modrić, Khedira, Özil, Kaka, Callejon, Benzema

  11. Re: Ireland > Airtricity Premier League > 2013

UCD vs Shamrock Rovers Absolutely agree with batigol, but I'm taking another bet. The Students are really poor with just one point from nine league games, with one scored goal in four games at home. Also, the Hoops aren't ideally placed because haven't won any of the five league games on the road so far. Shamrock won eight times in their last nine games at the UCD Bowl, and UCD with Martin Russsel won only 5 out of a possible 33 points against the city rival. However, they've scored 11 goals (and conceded 31) in those 11 matches, but tonight will have a nice chance to improve that record. In fact, Rovers are tired (played on Friday and Monday with four conceded goals in two games) and have some important absences in the defensive line now. J. McGuinness, K. Oman and C. Powell are injured, while P. Sullivan is banned. These are all defenders and it can be a problem for the guests. Another missings are striker M. Quigley in away, and defender M. Leahy in home side. This should be an interesting game, where we should see goals from both sides, I hope. Shamrock is a favorite, but with absences in defense - their odds are ridiculous, and I think that home team has a nice chance to score at least one goal. BTS & over 2,5 @2.60 at local (soccer) low stake
The biggest favorite for the title lost 2:0 against the biggest favorite for relegation (pre-season). I was right that students should score at least one goal, but this is really a heavy blow for away coach Croly (who can be fired in the near future, IMO). I don't believe I was wrong with a bet which had great value, on the other hand - all praise for batigol. :ok
  12. Re: Bundesliga 2 > 26th - 29th April Home coach Hans-Jürgen Boysen has four losses and a draw in games against Bochum, which is not encouraging fact. Of course, you already pointed out that Sandhausen will be without starting goalkeeper and topscorer (and captain) again. On the other hand, the guests are in very good mood after two straight wins to nil. This is thanks to new coach Peter Neururer who came before these games. Otherwise, Bochum was seven games winless before that, so I guess their confidence can contribute to a favorable result for them. Peter Neururer has already managed Bochum for several seasons in the Bundesliga at the beginning of the new millennium and for his return I'm not sure Sandhausen has a good chance tonight.

  16. Re: Ligue 1 > 24th - 28th April

St Etienne have played a lot of crucial game that last days Cup,France Cup and Ligue1 i think they gone be tired , plus with this cup win, they have a ticket for the next europa league season , they dont gone play very very focus
I wouldn't agree with you about their motivation. It's true that Saint Etienne played a lot of games in a short time, but their mood is highly good after first winning the trophy for the last 30 (or even 40) years. Yet they're still in the competition to qualify for the the Champions League, and other factors going in their favor are the following: Stade Geoffroy-Guichard will be full with 35 thousand fans who will create magnificent atmosphere and the hosts have a very good record against the Corsicans there (7-2-0).
plus st etienne had a big derby vs Lyon sunday ' date=' they can rested player today for the derby[/quote'] Only three regulars will be missing (Lemoine, Hamouma, Brison) due to injury or suspension. Coach Galtier said that he won't give the rest to other first team players. On the other hand, Ajaccio is still without the second best scorer Belghazouani and key defensive midfielder Faty. Yeah, I know they need the points to stay in the league, but I believe they are more focused on Saturday's game against Montpellier on Corsica, where is more likely to happen favorable outcome for them as current champion play poorly on the road this season and have no motivation as Saint Etienne. Therefore I'm not touching this game, good luck to those who play. ;)

Oh, finally back from vacation :) Well done Batigol :ok Bray Wanderers vs Limerick Away side won in last two visits at Carlisle Grounds (3:1 and 4:0 in Cup games in 2011 and 2012). Also, they are in better shape and the Super Blues are better side, IMO (you already know that the Seagulls are my favorites for relegation). Bray will have to wait on the fitness of 7 first team players including topscorer J. Byrne and captain D. O'Connor. On the other hand, Limerick will be only without P.Nzuzi due to suspension, but good news is that captain J. Gamble is back. I can see easy win for the visitors.
