Basically, the last couple of weeks I have had some luck by using Betfred's fixed odds and studying stats from previous games. I take into account clean sheets, failed to score percentages and average goals per match. I only take matches where both of the stats circled are below 25%, or in and around that mark!
Anyhow, not a lot to pick from tonight so going with a double. Southend vs Macclesfield and Walsall vs Oldham - 9/4 @ Betfred -

Japan have scored 11 in 4 games however they have a leaky defence in which South Korea can exploit. Korea have scored in every game at the Asia Cup and have had extra rest. Can see this being a 2-1 either way :ok -

Re: UEFA > Champions League > Wednesday 3rd November Chelsea vs Spartak Moscow (Chelsea to win to nil - 1.83 @ Bet365) Chelsea can book their place in the last 16 with a win here and I have the feeling this is going to be a routine win for Chelsea. Chelsea tend to defend well at home and usually keep a clean sheet, and with Spartak missing Ari up top, I can't see them as much of a threat. They will be missing Malouda but Drogba is back and I would fully expect a narrow 1-0 at the least at Stamford Bridge.

Re: UEFA > Champions League > Tuesday 2nd November I didn't manage to post or look at any games tonight but after reading some reviews, I just wanted to say thanks to the member that picked out a gem in Rangers under 3,5 corners. At half time they had 3 so I tried to cover my loses and backed United to win at 2.10 and luckily they both came in. Good pick :ok

Re: Brazil Serie B October 30th-31st 2010 ASA vs Portuguesa - Over 2,5 1.65 @ Bet365 If you want goals...just watch the Brazilian leagues and you will find plenty. Both these teams are playing for pride, and are planning on entertaining their fans. These type of games usually end up going over the line becasue of the freedom they get without the competitive pressure on their shoulders. The last four league games played by these teams ended up well over the 2,5 and this should follow trend.

Re: Euro 2012 > 12th October Belarus vs Albania Under 2,5 - 1.67 @ Betfair I don't rate either team in this game but they are fairly similar in that the majority of their matches finish under because of their inability to score goals. The last six games Belarus have took part in have failed to go over whilst Albania's first three group games have all fell under the line. Scotland vs Spain Spain to win to Nil - 1.96 @ Betfair (Bet of the day) Theres a gulf in quality at Hampden tonight. Scotland were lucky to get the three points last time out, and that was against Luxembourg whilst in contrast Spain are looking to seal their qualification tonight with a win. Scotland do have the players to cause an upset but I can't see Spain having an off day in such an inportant situation.

Re: Euro 2012 > 12th October Switzerland vs Wales Switzerland Clean Sheet - 1.92 @ Betfair Under 2,5 - 1.78 @ Betfair The Swiss have not started the 2012 campaign too well with two defeats, albeit one being against England, the other being a 1-0 away loss to Montenegro. This game is a must win for both teams, however Wales are lacking any sort of quality with only Gareth Bale likely to create anything. They are missing players like Ramsey, Bellamy, Ledley etc and have had to call up a batch of youngsters. Lets be clear, the Swiss have a record for keeping Clean Sheets and they can add another one here. Both teams will start 4-5-1 and will be obviously cagey as they look to get the three points on the board. I can see the Swiss winning this 1 or possibly 2-0.

NYRB sit top of the Eastern Conference whilst Salt Lake sit 2nd behind Galaxy in the Western divison. This match will be won in the midfield, with the duel between the two engines being key. In my opinion, I can see this being so tight and I really like the value on the draw. Both teams are missing key players due to the International week and may struggle to settle in. All the stats point to a draw but it's not as easy as that. -

So, Abreu scores a last minute goal! FML. Seriously, how are Santos 4th? They are the sloppiest team I have ever watched with my own eyes. First half all the lad had to do was square it but had to blaze it over the bar himself. They have picked up maximum points in only three games out of 18 matches, two of which came away. Guarani are in better shape with Wagner Mancini constructing a hard working team and currently sit 9th in the table compared to Goias' 20th. Guarani are far from a top away team, picking up most of their points at home however, this is a match they can win. The 2.4 offered on draw no bet is fantasic value and I am all over it. *My picks are in bold.
