  1. Re: CONCACAF champions league 2011 thread

Olimpia -0' date=5 @2.05 6/10 pinnacle Home factor in Latin America games is very strong especially on internacional cups. Saprissa wasn't better in first game but won 1-0 mainly because Olimpia had a red card early in the game. Now back at Hondura is much probable that they can leverage home factor and experience and win - even qualify. 52-53% is my estimation for Olimpia win.
I'm with you on this one, CD Olimpia went down to 10 men early on in the 1st leg and still managed to carve out some great chances but went to sleep on a late corner. They will be pushing and pushing for the 2 goals they need which will leave gaps for Saprissa to exploit however, CD Olimpia will have all the pressure and should have enough to win on the night at 10/11. Just had a look on Saprissa's website and they are more than confident to qualify, even slagging off Olimpia's pitch which is a bit stupid! Could give the Olimpia manager ammunition for his pre-match team talk :ok
  2. Re: Darts: Premier League Week 4

Like the over 12.5 legs @ 8/11 massively in the next one. These 2 usually play out close games and both will be well up for this one tonight! Taylor and Barney coming back into form' date=' could be a belter :ok ([b']10pts - 888Sport)
Why did I even bother. Barney is not at the races as usual! Game over

  4. Re: Sounding's Goals Galore

Very nice' date=' did you roll over the profit from the goals galore fixture week before? ;) :D[/quote'] I did, I also had Portsmouth to win and Lowe to score for Bury as singles so it was the best weekend yet since I started! Having a little go tonight though, no rollovers until I feel confident enough :)
  5. Re: Sounding's Goals Galore Tough coupon this weekend, need a little luck along the way. Right so heres my main double: Hoffenheim v Mainz 05 & Bury v Crewe Alexandra @ 2/1* - 888Sport Small stakes double: Oxford v Hereford & Tranmere v Yeovil @ 9/4 - Betfred *Just over 2/1 Good luck!

  6. Re: UEFA Europa League > 22-24 Feb Sporting Lisbon v Rangers (1-1 Agg.) - 0-0 at Half Time @ 7/4 - PaddyPower These two teams met in 2008, which Rangers won 2-0 due to a successful gameplan. They held Lisbon up until half time and then went gung-ho and came home having qualified. I have a feeling Walter Smith will be looking at that blueprint again, albeit against a weaker Lisbon side. This season has been disappointing for them and this is their last hope of anything positive. Lisbon don't 'need' to win this match so may be inclined to sit back and let Rangers attack which would then open the floodgates as Lisbon are poor defensively. PSV Eindhoven v Lille (2-2 Agg.) - Over 50 points @ 13/10 - 888Sport PSV, top of the Dutch league vs 1st placed Lille in the French league have it all to play for here. However, I'm not interested in the result but the cards in this one. The previous leg resulted in 7 bookings, and now have a card happy Eduardo Iturralde González in control of the second. This guy is not afraid to flash a card, he produced 7 yellows and a red in his last match domestically whilst his last Europeon game saw 10 yellows. When he's involved in a big match, he likes to be the center of attention. He took control of the Barcelona/Real Madrid game last November and nearly managed to book the whole Madrid side, producing 13 bookings and a red for Ramos.

  7. Re: UEFA Champions League > Wednesday 23 February Inter Milan v Bayern Munich - Bayern Munich (Corners Match Bet) @ 11/10 - 888Sport I really like this bet about Bayern winning the corner count. Bayern use the flanks quite a lot with the pace of Ribery and Robben, whilst they swap several times during a game. Bayern have faired better on the corner count away from home 9/12 times in their domestic league and 3/3 in the group stages of the CL. I was reading an article earlier and liked the comment from Robben, "Bayern Munich are a team with their own style of play and a particular footballing philosophy. We want to play attacking football and we won't change this now".

  8. Re: UEFA Champions League > Wednesday 23 February Inter Milan vs Bayern Munich – BTS @ 4/5 – 888Sport 5pts Since Benitez’s departure Inter have played out some cracking matches at the San Siro in their domestic season, netting 23 times in the last 6 games however conceding 11 at the same time. Inter play an attacking 4-3-3 with Sneijder, Milito and Eto’o providing the ammunition although their weakness has been injuries to their centre backs. If you’re playing a 4-3-3 you need a solid backline to cope with counter attacks and they haven’t been able to cope just recently. Bayern Munich won 5 of their Group E games during the group phase, scoring 16 goals in the process and letting in 6. They defeated Basel 2-1 away from home, smashed Cluj 4-0 and narrowly lost 3-2 to Roma at the Stadio Olimpico so they set their stall out to attack. In their domestic season they have scored and conceded in the last six out of seven matches. I really fancy Bayern to nick an away goal at the San Siro, maybe more than one. Two interesting Champions League stats on the two team’s stikers: Eto'o has scored 7 goals from just 10 shots on target in the CL. Gomez has scored 6 from just 8 shots on target. (I wrote this last Friday so there maybe a few stats that have changed slightly)

  9. Re: Sounding's Goals Galore

I don't know how Tottenham haven't scored. I landed my Brentford v Tranmere but Leicester let me down. Accrington v Crewe were my first choice but Fred didn't want me to choose that, so it seems I'm in the same hate boat as you. I'll leave your thread alone now, good luck with Tottenham scoring!
YES! Last minute goal! Never in doubt :tongue2 Its fine mate, don't mind suggestions etc.
  10. Re: Sounding's Goals Galore

******* Are you sure you got 5/2 the double here?
Sorry mate, had a long day! The odds were 1.50 for the Blackpool/Tottenham and 1.67 for the Accrington/Crewe game. Significantly lower odds however more chance of winning in my eyes! I see Betfred have kept the Blackpool match on their coupon but you'd have to have a little luck to pick a second to pair it with after all the game pulls they've made :ok
Your thread has inspired me to have a dabble at Goals Galore, and your success is impressive. Well done. :) I'm only a year into gambling myself - so might be missing something - but I don't understand why you did the doubles saver bet on the above slip? The bookies love those kind of bets as the punter has more scope for a loss - I'd have just gone for the treble. One thing I'd also like to touch on. I realise you're doing these bets for a bit of fun, but have you considered rolling the profit or returns over each time? On a £10 stake, four consecutive doubles @ 1.80, nets an impressive £1102. I myself wouldn't have the heart for it, so I've been rolling over my original stake of £10 twice. Gives a nice profit of £104.98 for any two consecutive wins. :ok
I'll have a look into that! Run into a little bit of bad luck recently picking matches I'm not sure on as Fred keeps pulling games so chancing my luck elsewhere albeit at shorted odds.
  11. Re: Sounding's Goals Galore Had enough of Fred taking games off his coupon so taking up 888's Goal Crazy coupon for tonight: Blackpool vs Spurs (1.50) Accrington vs Crewe (1.67) @ 888Sport Stake: £20 EDIT: Corrected the odds! Apologies

  12. Re: Sounding's Goals Galore

Hi Sounding, What market does this fall under in the BetFred markets?
Its under Goals Galore :ok So, Uncle Fred has removed 4 or 5 games from the coupon this weekend! 2 were on my shortlist however here's my double: Stockport vs Macclesfield Colchester vs Walsall Fairly confident with these 2 picks so stake is doubled! Hopefully put the disappointing weeks behind me. Good luck :hope
  13. Re: Darts: Premier League Week 2

You didn't think I'd be able to go a week without a 180's bet did you :loon. 4pts Week 2 Total 180's - Over 25.5 10/11 Stan James This just seems pretty straight forward to me. There were 34 180's last week and the bet would've been in before the final match has even begun. With Anderson and Lewis in the field half the total will be covered most weeks and then there's 6 pretty prolific players in terms of needing 2 per person. The matches look like a good set and I see this total being covered pretty easily however the matches go.
Great call, we are on 24 already with Anderson still left to play! :clap
  14. Re: Darts: Premier League Week 2

I've not looked at the side markets or anything yet but I'll put this up as the price won't last. 5pts A.Lewis to beat J.Wade Evs Sportingbet Even with the draw in play here I think Lewis is a massive price. Last week there was 14pts between the two on their averages and that's a huge amount to make up. Wade averaged 86.79 and that won't get it done against anyone in this tournament. Lewis averaged over a ton in a complete shutout of Taylor really. Nobody beats Taylor like that, flu or no flu. Lewis is really looking like the real deal to me now and it's good to see. I think he scores way too heavily for Wade here and his checking out is a lot better than it was. Wade's doubles last week weren't much better than his scoring and I've already mentioned how I feel Wade's game is in a slump at the minute. Lewis picked up a win and a draw against the Machine in the Premier League last year and I think Jackpot will make it 2 from 2 by beating the Machine in Nottingham on Thursday night.
I have to agree, Wade looked like he was a little bit dis-interested against Mark Webster in which he lost 8-3. May be just me but it looks like he's put on a bit of weight since I last saw him on TV! Anyhow, Lewis will be absolutely buzzing after demolishing Taylor, he is the form player and at evens (or just under) the value here. Adrian Lewis vs James Wade - Adrian Lewis @ 19/20 - 888Sport
