Re: Tennis - Wimbledon Did Muster win?

Re: Tennis - Wimbledon Fognini was the pick of the day (but nobody picked him) - we need a time machine guys.
-
Re: Tennis - Wimbledon So, Sela couldn't haven't started any worse :puke
-
Re: Tennis - Wimbledon
Agreed, but Sela is good enough to beat him so fingers crossed :hope for everyone.Yeah sorry R16 , point is he is obviously not bad on grass and at Wimbledon. Saying he never made it past 1st round and is poor on grass just plain bogus. -
Re: Tennis - Wimbledon
Not quarters, fourth round...Youzhny has got to the quarter finals at Wimbledon 5 times 01' date=02,05,07 and 08 -
Re: Tennis - Wimbledon Fed needs to step up or he is gone!

Re: Tennis - Wimbledon Surely Keifer at around 2.62 vs Ferrer is also worth some thought...

Re: Tennis - 14-20 June IamGooner - what is Stosur like on the grass? Outside bet for Wimbledon title?
-
Re: Tennis - 14-20 June Thanks for the heads up on Baltacha Psycho. :cheers I didn't know that Ladbrokes pay out for retirements despite losing the first set. Luck with us there :D Not so much on the Fognini which I followed on, like myself an underdog tip.

Re: Tennis - June 7-13 Yes, crikes Dudi Sela was 10s to win I think! :loon

Re: Tennis - French Open The same goes for Melzer. He also wipes is ass with his right hand and plays with his left.

Re: Tennis - French Open
Soderling FTW?Gutted by that Nadal loss:puke Going to get it back with Soderling in the final:D -
Re: Tennis - French Open I don't understand your post AM - Berdych v Soderling was a great match. What are you on about "King and villager?" The villager Melzer has close to zero chance of victory, only if Nadal picks up an injury.
-
Re: Tennis - French Open I'm not sure if I'm going to place money yet but I would definitely say the unders were more likely. Melzer has just been on court for over 4 hours and hasn't got the game to take a set off Nadal. I'd go for a 6-3, 6-2, 6-0 win.

Re: Tennis - French Open
I think the weather is supposed to be better today...Hi guys, 1 pick for French Open Semifinal match: SCHIAVONE TO D DEMENTIEVA @ 2.1 on willhill On other surfaces Dementieva would be a favorite but on slow clay with rains and cold weather Schiavone will just run all the time and retrieve balls. Dementieva traditionally has problems playing this type of opponents (recent losses to Pironkova, Dulgheru, etc.) -
Re: Tennis - French Open Horrific day. Should never put bets on that big!
-
Re: Tennis - French Open I got bad feelings that Soderling could win this. Eeek, would be a big loss. Am thinking of the in-play but it's come down from 8's at the end of the first set to about 3.5 at best.
-
Re: Tennis - French Open I hope Fed comes through (sure he will). I have a large wedge on him winning his quarter. My only concern is the conditions, looks like on/off rain all day and not sure who heavy conditions suits more? Nevertheless Soderling must pretty much crap his pants every time he sees Federer on the other side of the net.

Re: Tennis - French Open
Agree on both counts. Almagro to win a set v Nadal is 2.62 on Skybet and I think it's worth a pop.Too much tennis for Verdasco, bet he's regretting playing Nice last week. Nadal is looking vulnerable aswell, think he'll still win it but he would have faced big problems if Soderling was in his half this time....serving very average and alot of mid-court balls from him. -
Re: Tennis - French Open
Just been reading that Ljubicic has got a wee niggle in his ribs. Not the best thing to read after I've put my treble up with him in it but still feel he can get the job done. Fish isn't at all comfortable on clay' date=' especially in wet conditions on a slow court.[/quote'] Surely Fish would be great in wet conditions? Badda boom :drums :) -
Re: Tennis - French Open Surely Nadal to lose 2 or more sets over the tournament at 2.0 on SkyBet is a good shout? He has a tough draw with Gonzo, Almagro, Djokovic and a potential final with Federer.

Re: Tennis > 10-16 May Got to be worth a small stakes on Federer. I thought it would be 1.83 each not 3.5 on Federer - crazy price!
-
Re: Tennis > 10-16 May Murray just served badly. He was at 50% first serves in, whereas Ferrer was at 86% - this was the difference IMO. Murray was also only winning 38% of points on his second serve - not good enough. His second serve is found out even more on clay than other surfaces. If Murray could have got say, 65% first serves in he would have at least taken it to 3 sets and perhaps won. PS. If Federer serves well he will beat Ferrer quite easily.

Re: Tennis - Wimbledon Can't believe Zvonareva is at 6's to beat Serena - she has as always given her tough matches in the past and Vera is not so mentally defective anymore. I've had her at about 3.5.
