Down to a mark of 89 today and a wide draw and first time visor may help him settle better than his last two outings where his free running has cost him. Ben Curtis takes the ride today having only ridden for the stable twice previously.

Veteran who hinted a return to form last time out and now he's down to a mark of 63 his turn shouldn't be far away. Good draw for his style of running in 3. His last six CD runs read 131712 all off higher marks than today

Third in the Ayr Silver Cup over 6f off a 4lb higher mark and has been leading up of late over this trip so should be able to take advantage over this low draw. Hopefully the ground won't get too fast has his best form has come on good or slower. Trainer had a winner here yesterday and targets this local track.

If this one is race fit it must have a fantastic chance today.  It's the first time he's dropped to a make in double figures since November 2012.  Its not like his form has dropped too much, only two runs back he was beaten only 1 1/2L off 105.
Should reverse places with Togoville and Have a Nice Day on there August running and drawn ok in 6.

3.50 Stratford SPENDING TIME @ 6/1 Betvictor Only his fourth run for the Pipe yard and has been upped in trip after each run. Today goes 4f further than he has gone before and on the evidence of some previous efforts that could be the making of him. Down to a career low of 95. Scudamore rides in preference of stables other higher rated horse. Stable has been in good form with 5 winners from last 11 runners.

3.35 CARLILSE IFWECAN @ 12/1 W Hills Highly tried as a 2yo and down to his lowest mark since winning a class 4 at Musselburgh last June. This is only his second run in a class 4 since. Led all the way on his last win so the booking of Fanning a bonus. Fast ground no problem
