Re: Quick System Ralphie It's not often there are two qualifiers on the same day, so the temptation is to back them in a double as well as two singles - an EW double would also have some safety element. Any idea how successful this might have been ? Regards Geraldo

Re: Quick System Ralphie, I wondered if you had any feel (if not actual stats) for how profitable "Quick Irish" has been compared to the rest of UK track results? I've tended to think it isn't as good, but I may be completely wrong. G.

Re: Don't you just hate The Sun for Horse Racing??? The Sportsman is out now and available at most newsagents for £1 and £1.20 on saturdays. I've had a couple of issues this week and found it to be quite good and a nice change. It's good value and their main betting plank is via "The Four Horsemen" who have a strong ex-Timeform history. They also do a lunchtime e'mail with a tip.

Re: strategy vs. non-strategy Clotty I've used the Retirement Staking Plan for about 2 years. All I can say is that it works for me. However you do need a selection system which provides short losing runs and the winning odds need to match the original calculated odds, otherwise the stakes can mount up a bit. If things start to go awry I merely re-start the Plan, rather than soldier on ( I'm a bit cowardly when it comes to losing money ).
