  1. Re: Tennis: 10th - 16th January back again 4 the last time!!here are some more tips 4 the qualiifiers!! they're just value bets...the ten ive already posted are my serious bets!!most of these r underdogs!! 1)nara against perval 15-8 2)floris at 11-8 3)zac peskiric at 11-8 4)schruff at 5-6 5)rufin at evens 6)i also think kavcic, dodig and devarrman are dodgy short odds favourites that should be avoide in accumulators!! they still could win but very bad value! and lastly, i have one more big tip!! mattek to beat fichman at 4-7!i know the price is bit short 4 single bet but i have faith in betthanie!!

  2. Re: Tennis: 10th - 16th January hi repunt!! basically what i do is i bet to win 200 if i really fancy a bet,to win 100 if i fancy it and to win 50 if i just think there's value in the price!! i have backe dmatches 2 win 500 but that only happens 3 or 4 times a year! so for example if a player is 8-11 and i fancy him or her ill put 137.50 to win 100,if i really really fancy it, i'll put 275 on it!if i think a player is good value at 5-2,ill put 20 on it!! also, i like your reasoning on montanes....i disagree with cramer, i think he's serving quite well, he's mentally tough, has good forehand and lovely dropshot as im sure u enjoyed yesterday (though i think isner has a very good temperment too) but one thing ive noticed is that montanes isnt a great returner and i think he'll really struggle with isners serve! but he's got a chance and will be up 4 it! decent value, but i still think isner will win! also i hope my tips 4 the aussie qualies will come in.....even if 6 or 7 come in ill be happy!!but an 8 or above again would be magic!good luck

  3. Re: Tennis: 10th - 16th January loads of interesting matches tonight in the aussie open qualifiers!!the bets i really fanct are as follows: 1)llagosteres vives to beat voracova at 4-5 with paddypowers! 2)witten to beat niland at 8-13 (WAS 4-6) with pps! 3)joseph sirianni to beat jan minar at 8-11 with pps! 4) michael yani to beat sorenson at 8-11 with pps! 5)m bachinger to beat hocevar at 10-11 with hills! 6)ventura to beat evans at 8-11 with powers!! 7)pivovarova to beat kalashnikova with powers at evens! 8)dominguez lino to beat rodionova at 4-6 wit stan james 9) korytseva to beat fedak at a short price of 8-15! 10)mladenovic to beat dentoni at 8-13! i got 8 out of ten yesterday and i really feel these are good bets too!!if anyone needs reasons for a specific bet ill be on d site around ten again!!good luck!!cant wait 4 main draw tomoro!

  4. Re: Tennis: 10th - 16th January

i also think a pretty safe accumulator is gasquet and montanes at 4-6 wit boyles!! gasquet is in great form and though starace has improved on hardcourts (i love that mans inside to out forehand) motivated gasquet is simply a big class above!i saw monaco against plucky local boy statham (one 2 watch) and i thought he played very well!! he has a deceptively good serve and great forehand!! he's mentally very tough actually and when he gets a sniff at the latter stages of a tournament he generally wont be found wanting! i saw lammer against olaso and really he didnt impress me much...expect montanes 2 be much superior from d back of the court! TIP...GASQUET,MONACO DOUBLE WITH BOYLES 4-6!
user_offline.gifreport.gif THAT WAS SUPPOSED 2 BE MONTANES WIT GASQUET BUT IM SURE PEOPLE REALIZE THAT!! I WAS REALLY CONFIDENT ABOUT THIS ONE ACTUALLY!!! THOUGHT MONTANES WAS GREAT PRICE EVEN AT 2-5.....WASNT A DOUBT IN MY MIND!! EASY 2 SAY THAT IN HINDSIGHT OF COURSE! GOOD PICK ON ELENA CRAMER! progress.gif
  5. Re: Tennis: 10th - 16th January there doesnt seem to be much value in the mens qualifiers tomorro! but i really think theres great value in the womens!! i have some very confident picks...i wont go into detail but lets just say i have them numbered in order of my favourite and most confident picks!!here we go: 1)llagosteres vives to beat madison brengle at 8-11! 2)monique adamczak to beat hofmanova at 8-11! 3) betthanie mattek to beat julia vakulenko at 5-6! if anyone wants explanations ill post them later1 other bets that u can still get on and i really fanct are as follows!! in order of my favourite bets!! 1)dominguez lino to beat hrdinova at 4-6! 2)schruff to beat zhang 3)mirkovic to beat rodion at evensova at 11-10 4)korytseva to beat savchuk at 4-6! 5)fuda to beat palkina at 8-11! 6)gullickson 2 beat doj at 4-6 7)zac pekiric to beat fujiwara at 8-11 possibly! im very confident that these bets will lead to profit so good luck! GOOOD DAY WITH THE WOMENS QUALIFIERS! 8 WINS 2 LOSSES (NO PRICE SHORTER THAN 4-6) ALSO, KENDRICK LET ME DOWN IN D MENS BUT LUCKY ENOUGH ILHAN DID THE BUSINESS AGAINST BOGDANOVIC....(CANT REALLY GO WRONG BACKING AGAINST BOGGERS IN D QUALIES AGAINST A REASONABLE PLAYER) WILL HAVE MORE TIPS LATER! CHEERS FOR THE COMMENT ATKO....I THOUGHT HEWITT WOULD WIN THAT ONE MYSELF.....BUT SURE ITS ALL ABOUT THE MAIN DRAW 2MORO!!

  6. Re: Tennis: 10th - 16th January other bets that u can still get on and i really fanct are as follows!! in order of my favourite bets!!

  8. Re: Tennis: 10th - 16th January i like bobby kendrick to beat ryan sweeting!! kendrick is a player capable of mixing it with the big guns as he showed against murray and nadal in wimbledon over d years and djokovic in d us open 2 years ago!! its disappointing then that he hasnt made more of his career and has lacked plenty of consistency in the challengers!! however i think he raises it 4 the grand slams...he did well in them last year!got 2 d second round of d french and d us open and took a set off soderling and murray in d other two slams!he beat rising star dimitrov in d first round qualifying which is very promising!! sweeting is a dangerous opponent with explosive groundstrokes and if he's on his A-game id be worried!but he's a bit of a headcase,he doesnt play d big points that well and has serious concentration problems!! bobby is more solid i reckon and sweeting is the guy with it all 2 prove!!i think the 4-5 going about bobby is great value!! 1pt win bobby kendrick 4-5 to beat sweeting paddypowers1 good luck

  10. Re: Tennis: 10th - 16th January i'm with u on that one gooner all the way!! being an irishman i know a little bit about our national treasure conor niland!!in fairness 2 him he's done well for himself!!but he's an average player and has never been past round 2 in any grand slam qualifier ever!! witten was extremely impressive both in qualifyin and in reachin rd 3 and taking a set of joker!!he's been shiite since then but the first round comfortable victory bodes well and he should be class above!! i expect niland 2 be nervous also...at 2 chance 2 qualify 4 his first ever grand slam!!might not play the big points well!!but i'll say this....if he does qualify 4 the main draw.....there'll be dancing in the streets in this country!! we might even have 2 take an early bank holiday!!! TIP....JESSE WITTEN TO BEAT CONOR NILAND 4-6!!!STAN JAMES

  11. Re: Tennis: 10th - 16th January sorry about my polansky tip..i really thought he'd be too good! he obviously was out of sorts 4 some reason...not himself!!thats the danger of betting on matches based on paper without any immediate form or inside knowledge 2 go on!!! dolgopolov let me down too!!but had a few winners which softened the blow a bit! bad day though overall!! at least with the second round of qualies we know where we stand a little regarding players form!! still have a good feeling about the ausssie open.....but a good draw is crucial!!!!

  12. Re: Tennis: 10th - 16th January finally, got some more tips i was thinkin about for the aussie open qualies!! cant go into detail coz it would take me ages!! most of them r 50/50 shots coz there's no point in tipping the short odds as single bets! stoppini to beat klizan at 4-5! groth to beat delgado 2-1! de chaunac to beat dodig 8-11! ward to beat reid 4-6! oswald to beat brendan evans at 10-11. soeda to beat kavcic at 5-4! kontinen to beat niland at 5-6! maybe ventura to beat gremelmayer at 5-4! all with paddypowers...though stanjames do prices also and hills!

  13. Re: Tennis: 10th - 16th January i had a big bet on medina garrigues yesterday despite the move for alla which really surprised me......but i'm thinkin dulko for tomorro!!game matches up well 2 garrigues and she has a 2-0 head to head! lead! anyone else got any thoughts? i also fancy zheng against bondarenko at 4-5....alona is in good form but i think zheng has that extra mental toughness! also backed suarez navarro at 8-11 against molik.....class ahead i reckon!! id be all over this price if it was d first round of the australian!!navarro loves her grand slams!

  14. Re: Tennis: 10th - 16th January another bet i like is dolgopolov to beat stadler at 4-7!!dolgopolov won me a lot of money last year in challengers but i think he's ready 2 step it up a notch to tier one tennis!!he's young, good serve, solid consistent groundstrokes, determined and a good temperment....wins a lot of tiebreaks!!he looks in good nick this year, beat tomic and pushed stepanek really close last week which bodes well! stadler on his day can be a handful, attacking and good at the net but he's very inconsistent and even if he does bring his a-game i still think dolgopolov will b 2 good! the price is short 4 single bet but worth it i think!! TIP...DOLGOPOLOV TO BEAT STADLER 4-7 PADDYPOWERS!!

  15. Re: Tennis: 10th - 16th January tomorro is the first round of the us open qualifiers and i have been studying the form of a lot of the players involved and looking for mistakes by the bookies!! (they havent really made any howlers....not like the old days...its a struggle)but anyway, ive found a few that i like!!! first match i really like is peter polansky to beat marcel ilhan at 8-11 with paddypowers! polansky is a talented player with a very useful backhand (temperment and motivation at times suspect) but he has the game 2 mix with the big boys!!last year he came through qualification in all the grand slam events.....and was one of the few qualifiers to put up a good show in the main draw....he lost in 5 sets to andreev in australia, petschner in france and g lopez in the us!! i just think he saves his beat tennis 4 these grand slam events and is a class ahead of ilhan....who got 2 d second round of the us open last year (but beat poor christophe rochus in 5) and hasnt had any other results of note either b4 that performance or after it!!!polansky loves the big stage and has the class 2 win this one at a good price of 8-11! BET OF THE DAY....PETER POLANSKY TO BEAT MARCEL ILHAN AT 8-11 PPS!!

  16. Re: Tennis: 10th - 16th January another price i really like is sania mirza to beat alicia molik at evens with bet365! Sania season was marred by injury last year (as was moliks) ! but molik really has been out of action for a long time! and she's way past her best now at 28!mirza has a lot of talent...very powerful groundstrokes off both wings! on her facebook page she said she's feeling fit and excited about the new season...which is a good sign! she bet promising youngster voegele in a tight match in d first round at brisbane and then got beaten by schiavone easily (but schiavone alwasy beats mirza-kinda like a bogie player for sania!) molik beat makarova but makarova is a very inconsistent player and then molik got hammered by kim i think in d next round! mirza had a 2-0 head to head record against alicia! my instinct is that she is in better shape over all and i'm just surprised she's underdog! TIP-1PT WIN SANIA MIRZA TO BEAT ALICIA MOLIK AT EVENS BET365!

  17. Re: Tennis: 10th - 16th January i have 2 say i fancy yang against evans at 10-11 wit bet365! since winning a grass court challenger last summer there has been some hype about british teenager daniel evans as maybe the next big thing!!i havent seen him play but allegedly he has a lot of talent! however, he could barely win a match since that grass court challenger for the rest of the season and was often on the end of hidings ....just on the challenger circuit!! he probably still has 2 grow a bit and get power which isnt as necessary 4 the grass 2 compete wit the big boys! yang has some good form...he has beaten dustin ,brown,r ghedin and most recently jan minar in qualifier matches and those guys are well established challenger players comfortable with hard courts ...no slouches! he lost 2 robin haase then in 2 tight sets! i just cant resist a bet on him coz he seems in good form and i think evans being made favourite is down 2 the fact that he's british and the hype i suppose! its probably a dodgy match 2 bet on and i'm not ignoring the fact that evans hammered m daniel in qualifying...but its just not enough to justify favouritism in this one so i cant resist the bet! 1PT WIN T.H YANG TO BEAT DANIEL EVANS AT 10-11 BET365!

  18. Re: Tennis: 10th - 16th January i had the same initial instincts as you gooner about the mayer match!! he's certainly a player with promise and power but he's by no means the punters secret weapon...since beating blake in d french and pushing haas all d way...he's very much been on the bookies radar and if anything now i think he's a bit over-rated!! true enough andreev is in poor form but i still think he's got more game than mayer and if this match was in the first round of the australian open i'd be lumping on andreev at an underdog price....he always raises his game 4 d slams! but i wouldnt trust him this week and good luck if u do decide 2 go with mayer!

  19. Re: Tennis: 3rd - 10th January BET OF THE DAY!!!!! ERNSET GULBIS PLUS 5.5 GAMES AGAINST ROGER FEDERER!!! ernest is looking determined and motivated for the start of this season....like he's finally matured enough to focus on his tennis and try and fulfil his undoubted potential!! the reason i like this bet so much is because he's serving really well this week!!he hammered montanes and beat solid baseliner seppi in straight sets!! roger tends not to be firing on all cylinders in the early rounds and i think gulbis has enough class to live with roger from the back of the court!"!he'l;l also be able 2 get lots of free points of his serve!! i think he can push federer in 2 tight sets and then get tight when the big points come!!they've never played one another before and i do honestly think gulbis is the type of player roger plays very well....aggressive attacker....little bit headless at times!!but 5.5 games is a huge advantage against a big server like gulbis!!a scoreline like 6-4,6-3 would be good enough!!nad gulbis always seems to raise his game against the big guns in the past!!!so i just really fancy this bet!! BET OF THE DAY....GULBIS +PLUS 5.5 GAMES AGAINST FEDERER! 4-6 PADDYPOWERS (WAS 5-6)

  20. Re: Tennis: 3rd - 10th January

bet of the day for tomoro is kevin kim to beat daniel brands! kim has had his best grand slam results in australia (3rd round2005,2nd 2007) so he seems 2 like it there...though wouldnt readinto that 2 much! he's not very consistent these days but i think he is a superior player to brands!! he beat sela in d us open first round and pushed queerey all d way in d 2nd round!brands was very consistent performer at challenger level last year particularly on clay but was never able 2 make d grade when he stepped up 2 tier one level! didnt qualify 4 last 2 grand slams ....was beatin by marchenko in us open qualifying!hardly inspires confidence!and his best results have all been on clay!as long as kim is motivated and fit i think he'll win and i'm surprised he's underdog here! bet: kevin kim 2 beat daniel brands evens with boyles! and kevin kim beats daniel brands in straight sets (6-2,6-2) at underdog price of evens! hope other punters got on this one! more tips 2 come!

  21. Re: Tennis: 3rd - 10th January i also like lu to beat lacko at 5-6!!lu always performs well in australia! (knocked nalbandian out of aussie open last year) beat chela in the hopman cup 2 years ago 2! lacko is young and powerful but a bit one-dimensional and i think lu is still a classier performer and should be able 2 take this one! tip lu 9-10 with boyles!
