  1. Re: Ali Baba- Each/way Tea Leafs Hi, Mr. Slap, and a HNY to you.....good to see your tips back on the Sports-Punter. Yes, here I go again sticking my nose in where it doesn't belong....don't know a jot about the gee gees, but to a simpleton like me, who is grateful for any small profit angle,.... .... if picking winners or even each way horses is not the bettor's overall priority, but a small win is, then, surely what you say about early prices and taking them before they come down, (assuming it is possible to do this on a fairly regular basis), means that there is the realistic probability that you can benefit in a lesser way by backing at the early price, and laying just before the race, at lower odds? I fear that I am stating the obvious here, but felt the need to try and help one and all to a better bank balance in 2006. OK, so you don't win so much this way, compared with when a horse is first, or placed, but if the total profit from your regular back/lays is near to that of your not so regular winning selections, surely it is worth a thought? I know that you are not my Granny, and would never dream of teaching you to suck eggs, (has this post suddenly taken a surreal twist?), but felt this should be pointed out, at the risk of a 'so what?' from one and all. It is not always important how we win money, but that we at least win some money, by any (legal) means with a mimimum of risk. Well, it's just a thought, a bit of a statement of the obvious, I suppose, but we sometimes overlook the obvious that's right in front of us, when searching for the answer in the distance. GL to you, and Cavelloman, with your tipping, I will take a closer look at the possibility of early morning backs and immediate pre race lays, to see if there is any viable profit there, while the soccer front is 'quiet'. (Any advice, or pearls of wisdom, pointing me in the right direction would be gratefully received.....) ;) :ok

  2. Re: Exchanges - Betting In Play Hi, Skin8, er...., I mean, Chunster........ :loon The INSIDE EDGE Back Issue bureau is at Tel: 01789 490215. Most of the recent issues have dealt with various betting exchange issues and 'systems', including an article on a student who worked the exchanges, like me, and made thousands, .............not like me......:\

  3. Re: Spreadman's Double sell System - Today's tips System Match No.133, Man. City v Spurs, Sky Sports 1, 8pm, Wednesday 4th January. Sell total goals at 2.4 for £2 per goal. Sell total shirt numbers at 38 for £1 per goal. Last night's 0-0 result meant a maximum profit, and so far this season, out of 132 traded televised English leagues matches, there have been 12 matches ending 0-0. That's around 9% of matches, close to the expected EPL average. However, one interesting fact is that out of the these 12 matches, the next match that followed them was an 'overs', (3 or more goals scored), result on no less than 8 occasions. That's 66%, or 2 out of 3 games. So, do we take any notice of this small sample of stats. as a possible indication of the outcome of tonight's total goals tally? Possibly not, but it should be borne in mind......... There may be 10+ corners in this match, based on previous stats., but small stakes advised if you bet. High shirt numbers on the pitch : 28 and 38. :\ GL. :ok :hope

  4. Re: Spreadman's Double sell System - Today's tips :$ No, Chala, you haven't' missed one......I have been V. busy, recently, as have most punters, I suppose, so no excuse... Have even missed posting a few trades :\ due to my unexpected visit to the free hotel of men in white coats....and young ladies in nurse's uniforms..... :spank I think there is a short PL fixture break, so..... Will update in next day or so, (honest!!), (:hope ) :)

  5. Re: Spreadman's Total Goal Minutes Sell System trades for today - first post! :ok :hope Matt, you could close yourTGM's now, if you have one, for around 16 points profit. I'm not suggesting that you do this, but watch out for a contrasting second half.. And both teams are known for late goals, so consider a close at 80 mins or so. I am considering a bookings buy at 57 or less, if things 'kick off'. GL. :)

  6. Re: Spreadman's Double sell System - Today's tips System Match No.104, Arsenal v Man. Utd., Sky Sports 1, 8pm, Tuesday 3rd January. This is a 'big' match...will there be a 'big' score? I am reluctant to trade in this match, tonight..the stats. history of this fixture point towards a high scoring, high bookings match. I will watch the match for a few minutes before deciding whether to trade or not....hopefully the artificially high bookings spread of 54-58 will have a chance to reduce before the first card comes out of Mr. Poll's shirt. A bookings buy should be considered...8 cards were shown last time in this match. For the record, here are the spreads and trades: Sell total goals at 2.5 for £1. Sell total shirt numbers at 32 for 50p. Last of the big spenders.......:\ A small fixed odds bet on under 11 corners, with a 'saver' on exactly 11 should return a profit. Here are some stats.: Ref: G. Poll, books ave.: 36, Arsenal HF+HA:44, M.U. AF+AA:37.5. Corners: 6.6,4.7/4.9,4.3. GL. :ok :hope

  7. Re: Spreadman's Double sell System - Today's tips System Match No.103, Blackburn v Portsmouth, Sky Sports 1, 7.35pm, Monday 2nd January. Sell total goals at 2.6 for £3 per goal. Sell total shirt numbers at 39 for 50p per point. Dare I say it?.........there are some high shirt numbers in this match...Lua Lua, 32, and O' Neil, 26, with the odd 22, 31 and 33 ........:unsure No personal shirts trade for me.... Blackburn seemed to have cleaned their act up at home, so not as likely to tempt the ref. to produce high cards. However, Mr. Bellamy may have some influence on the outcome, though Portsmouth have a low home cards average. I would, however, contemplate a total corners buy at 11. Next traded match, tomorrow night, spreads and trades posted here tomorrow. GL. :ok :hope

  8. Re: Spreadman's Double sell System - Today's tips

System Match No.102, Plymouth v Leeds, Sky Sports 1, 5.15pm, Monday, 2nd January. But, some high shirt numbers...:\ , Blake, 28 and Cresswell, 25. A total corners buy at 11 could show a profit....
Corners buy trade wins, 12 so far. Closing all trades in this match at 0-2 in the 63rd minute...... guess who the two goal scorers are..... :spank
  9. Re: Spreadman's Double sell System - Today's tips System Match No.102, Plymouth v Leeds, Sky Sports 1, 5.15pm, Monday, 2nd January. Sell total goals at 2.4 for £3 per goal. Sell total shirt numbers at 36 for £1 per point Hopefully a low scoring match, no goals would do nicely....;) But, some high shirt numbers...:\ , Blake, 28 and Cresswell, 25. A total corners buy at 11 could show a profit.... Next traded match is this evening at 7.45pm, spreads and trades posted here, later. GL. :ok :hope
