Haven't posted in years. But wanted to see if there was any thoughts on the match I saw as juicy. Muller v Donaldson Couldn't believe muller was 1.38 match win and evens for 2-0 set betting. Can't see anything other than muller holding his serve and Donaldson losing his once at least in each set. Muller not my favourite player but is strong and reasonably consistent on his serve. Donaldson admitty haven't seen much of but his paper records are not that impressive.. :/ Any thoughts? I've lumped on either way! :)

I've read a few calling for Carroll to start so he can rough up their central defence and reports suggest they are not good at defending set pieces. I can see a really scruffy 1-0 win either way here. I also read that Buffon has faced 9 penalties in shoot outs and only ever saved 1 of them' date=' interesting stat. I'm going to wait until I see the lineups for this one as I've not been too impressed with Welbeck and I'm hoping Walcott gets a start.[/quote'] im pretty sure i read a few days ago that buffon has a musch superior record to joe hart in saving penalties.. think it was about 25% for buffon v 11% for hart. and clearly buffon has more experience at this stage and obviously england are still going to be crap at penalties. also ive been very impressed with welbeck he has led the line extremely well at his first major tournament. also the absense of rooney has meant alot of pressure on him especially with young and milner being pretty basic so far not creating much for him in the way of chances. walcott has always been a 20/30 minute player so cant see much hope of him hurting italy if he starts. they are the masters at killing players with pace and no brain which i think walcott falls into. milner would be a much better choice as he has a tactical footballing brain. but as everyone else has said all my thinking is on a tight boring ish game where italy have alot of the possession but struggle to break down the england defence due to the drilling hodgson has been giving them! maybe johnson will be targeted by cassano's trickery and pirlo's cute passes but it will still be hard to break england down. so 0-0 at half time at 2.32 on betfair and under 2.5 at 1.53 on betfair will be my main choices with a few hopeful bets on bookings when teams are announced -

His bet has brilliant reasoning and brilliant odds so i just cant understand people talking nonsense about it. and im sure in this tournament there has been a fair few early goals early on, without doing the exact research id follow his bet no probs and could easily pop a few quid on 0-0 with a lay at half time if there is not a goal. job done. but no need to slate people just do the opposite if u so confident and see whos right...

Re: June 18 - June 24 Yo guys Has no one been on David Ferrer these last few days? His odds to win straight sets and on the handicap and under games have been crazy high when hes played two average players in L Mayer and I Sisjling....I dont think the bookies regard him in the same breath as the big 4 but he really should be. He destroyed Mayer and Sisjling so just wondering why no one had flagged these up. I dont have the same depth of knowledge on some of the lesser known players as some on here but always seem to do alright with Ferrer but rarely see him advised if memory serves me right. Just a thought! :)

Re: Germany v Greece > June 22 im with the camp that believes Greece aint actually that good. yes they can defend well but only cos they dont attack well so just spend most the game worrying about conceding. their goals have all been after defensive f#ck ups by the opposition and germany just shouldnt have any of these. their players are solid and dependable like all good germans! karagounis missing is a major loss to greece. probably the biggest los they could experience. he is their only decent intelligent player who can pick a pass or do a short sharp dribble to open things up...therefore germany will control possession and open them up when they fancy it. every one of germany's players is superior to what the greek players plays against week in week out and this will eventually tell with a few goals i feel. but done well with win to nil few times this fortnight and feel this is another one of them games, its 5/6. also clean sheet for germany seems a good bet, its 8/13. gomez to score at 8/11 aswell as hes getting nice form going

mostly depends on the referee and whether he has experience at this level. some like to stamp their mark by showing a few then hopefully players will respect them.. or some will just want to be the centre piece of the action like the one in poland v greece. hes mental! shown like 25 odd cards in last 8 games and 5 reds i think. only game there was no cards was a friendly between quatar and kuwait or something! but i think we will see a fair few in my opinion. holland v portugal could be 22 yellows and 5 reds easy!I wonder if there will be lot of cards given for this tournement?:unsure I think that platini wants that there are few cards given in this EC 2012. Any news about this? -

he will go with the most basic team possible! hart johnson, terry, lescott, cole milner, gerrard, parker, downing young welbeck/carroll hart (all on his shoulders if we progress) , johnson, lescott, terry (scum!), cole picks itself, 2 holding midfielders parker and gerrard! why! "wingers" will be steady eddy milner and i can barely come to type his name mr no goals downing, young (the only bit of class in the squad) and please i pray welbeck..but i think carroll will be close call due to the france defence being weak on set pieces and the fact he loves any liverpool player. france win!!They went with Gomez 8/1 to be Germanys top goalscorer today. I looked on odds checker and thats around 5/2 top price. So i got the missus involved. They're calling it a COUNTDOWN so im guessing its in the Racing Post every day. Man u will dominate possession and terriority. Much better players to control the game and play. Lindegard wants to impress with a clean sheet I'm sure. Basle best striker has been about for like 20 years and I've never thought he was great hence no one bought him to decent league. Basically man u should get this pretty safely after taking a nice early lead. Touch wood!

Re: England > Weekend > Championship > 23-25 September READING AND CRYSTAL PALACE DOUBLE could be value as doncaster are pretty much relegation candidates already. lost heavily in few games and palace have some exciting fast youngsters and strikers who need to score to stay or get into the team. know palaces away record is terrible but its got to start changing soon and now could be the time. coventry are another terrible team. watched them versus ipswich and they were poor. no real leader or star player to rely on and ipswich had easy win. reading are a very good team with scorers who could expose coventry. doing it more for the odds but its definately value!

Is there anything that can like automatically inform me if horse I like is racing in a given day or race? Sometimes I see horses after a race has run that I've won with before but I'm too late. Makes me sad! But I doubt there is just thought it was worth asking the experts. Many thanks

Mate please stop! U said some silly things bogging yourself up then back down saying it was a pre write up opinion. Everyone on here has an opinion but just be a bit more easy going with it. If u have knowledge don't be a big head then back down.... I'm expecting everything u say to happen! And please Stoke are obviously going to concentrate on the league. Relegation is not an option for them now they spent loads on transfers n loads on wages don't u think!!!?? And for what it's worth I'd be very surprised by a Stoke win. Agree100%! I've done Murray -4.5 on betfair also at 1.58 Can't see isner even getting a set off murray if he's on form. Happy days hopefully :)Murray -5.5 vs Isner. 1.85 @ Nordicbet. (7 pts) This is a quarterfinal and by this stage most players are a bit tired. Isner certainly will be spent sooner rather than later and playing two days in a row won't help. His game is built around serve and there were sings of problems already yesterday against Simon. The Frenchman broke him five times and it should have been even more. Murray will take care of Isner easily. He's got really good return game and will create enough chances to win this match by at least six games. He has played Isner couple times and has beaten him pretty easily on both occassions. It was 7-6, 6-3, 6-2 in Australian Open last year and 6-4, 6-2 in Hopman Cup this year. Bottom line - Isner will be tired and won't be able to get in as many aces as required to keep him interested in this contest. -
Re: Tennis - The US Open 2011 Both nadal and Murray to win 3-0 are above evens on betfair! Look what happened last round! Know isner n roddick are good servers but nadal n Murray are two of the best returnees in the game easy. Murray may struggle to break back if he gets broken but isner is too big to stay with Murray in rallies which should happen if Murray return on song. Same with nadal too strong n athletic for roddick. Also do tie break in both at 3/10 as it's pretty much guaranteed. Odds of 2.38 for nadal n 2.20 for Murray will be taken for 3-0. Also do double for sake of it :)

Re: Italia Serie A 1st round Why are people not thinking about Milan v lazio!? Milan made strong signings in summer decent defenders bought and only lost pirlo who admitably I loved but Milan relied too much on him at times. I think that prince and the other midfielder who's name I forget will be very strong this year to compensate pirlos loss. Also their strikers are immense. Zlatan to score will be good bet also. Lazio lost zarate which is big loss and I don't think their squad is anywhere near milans to compensate for his loss. Will need to look into it but I think Milan n inter double looks mighty strong. This year I'm looking at doubles big time. Manchester clubs to win. Real n barca to win. N the Milanese clubs also to win. Few successes already so hopefully will continue nicely Bets on betfair so will need to wait a bit for odds etc but I'm confident.

Re: Tennis - The US Open 2011 roger federer to win 3-0 at 3.2 on betfair is crazy. i cant think of a match he has had these odds other than nadal and maybe dokovic at french open. has to be taken after murray and nadal came through 3-0. i know tsonga has a win over him but federer looked immense against monaco. serve is on fire. forehand booming aswell. tsonga obviously has the capabaility to win a set or even the match but he played a 5 set match few days ago so maybe be a tad more tired which could help. but i just think the odds are appealing so going for it with winnings as such. will try watch it inplay aswell just in case but im out so not sure if i can

Re: Spain - La Liga - 27-29 August do rossi to score aswell maybe?? his finishing is up there with the best inthe world.. also i know its easy to say but u can safely do ronaldo to score every game and probably messi. doubles or singles would surely be profitable. already has been with messi in super cup and ronaldo bagging a hatrick v real zaragoza. long may it continue. also id be totally happy with a barca win in this game after a slow ish start. il be looking at 0-0 half time + barcelona to score when its looking likely..

Re: Tennis 22-28 August Think I have to back roddick in the semi v isner I really don't like isner except for the fact a tie break is guaranteed in all his matches! Surely roddick will want to win another trophy as he gets on in his years and career Rod defo has more to his game and seems he's playing pretty well with few decent 2-0 wins recently. Odds of 1.6 appeal to me so little dabble on that aswell as 2-1 at 4.2 just in case John does win a set. Good luck all

Pretty easy to choose them I admit but I have most success with 'easy' choices. Can't see arsenal keeping a clean sheet at all and wazza is the man to open them up. Also Suarez can pull something out of nothing so he should create few openings. And seen as I'm fuming I chose the dofus Carroll for my dream team a suarez goal will compensate a bit! Also how is man u not value at 1/2!? Their home record against everyone is immense and v arsenal is immense. They have started strong, very strong, their players are gagging to impress, Rooney with his new Samson hair, young looks dangerous all the time, cleverly wants the midfield position, Anderson actually influences games now, nani is explosive ESP v jenkinson! The defenders want to prove they are capable, goalie wants to shut all the clowns up..versus arsenal who have..rvp only! I like Ramsey but he needs help. Song is average no creativity. Arse-shaving has lost his zip, Walcott is Walcott! And the rest are injured or suspended. If barca are worthy of a bet v Porto at 1.4 man u are value at 1.5 easy peesy. I've only seen them twice but they beat Tottenham hotspur and I think it was a French club the time before that. Obviously the pitch will play a big part in this but braga ain't the most exciting team to be able to overcome this problem easy. They were dire last year reaching final with endless 0-0 or boring results. They have few good players but nothing amazing. Alan the Brazilian! Come on look at Fred! No Brazilian with an english name! But I'm pretty confident with young boys so may play a halftime/full-time of young boys aswell. Any thoughts team news appreciated

Yes it's luck to an extent but they favourites for a reason god damn it. Unless the jockey f's up then corse the better horse will win. Put usain bolt up against any other sprinter who will mostly win!!!??? Imagine putting say 1 grand on every frankel race. Silly bet!??? I think not if it wins it's best bet of the minute
