Solo Choice is to make his course debut and with Crowley on board I think there is value. Crowley had been busiest at this course this season with 24 wins from 144 rides. Trainer and jockey combo of J Howard Johnson and Denis O'Regan must be respected here. This is where they do most of their runnings and being PU lto still keeps their runners in the contest. Johnson's 18% Strike rate over hurdles from 121 runs is very good. Santo Stefano was PU lto but did have a solid effort before that at Newcastle last year. He was 1 1/4L in third of 16 runners. Bumpers are good for 323. Dropped in Class from 3 to 5 is a big help. Trip lto was too far (2m3f110y) as he ran out of gas at 2 out so drop back to 2m should suit. Catterick and Sedgefield are Undullated courses and he did welll there with 2 wins and 1 third. Trainer J Howrad Johnson have a decent strike rate here with 13.4% from 82 runs with 28.1% placed.
