Re: Ascot 21/11/2008 12:55 Ascot Mad Max Trainer and Jockey combo of N J Henderson and B J Geraghty is currently at 33% for 9 wins from 27. Mad Max have not raced since October but the Class today may be something too simple. B J Geraghty has 1 win from 2 hurdle runs at this course and 5 wins from 15 with Henderson's hurdlers this year. When it comes to hurdlers at this course Henderson is best among trainer here. Trainer (C Roberts) is also in winning form having a winner and a second from the last three starters. Roberts also has 3 wins from 13 hurdle starters here the past 5 seasons for a +19.00 profit at LSP. 1pt win Hereford 1:20 Solar Max (Res #1) Should have it easy if only able to reproduce his last performance. 1:20 Solar Max Should have it easy if only able to reproduce his last performance. Beaten by 10L LTO but that was to the 8/13F that went on to finish 5th of 15 in a Grade 2 at Cheltenham 6 days later. That winner also had more experience coming from France. Re: Leicester 17/11/2008 With McGrath being in okay form it's not a bad idea go with 0.50pt ew with his other ride of the day in Short Straw at the lucky last. RP Betting Forecast is 50/1. Since 2006, the combo of McGrath and Ford (trainer) has 11 wins from 72 for a return of 112.9% at SP. 6 wins from 29 in races of 2m to 2m1f for a return at SP of 212.4% (total of 11 placed).

Re: Cheltenham ~ Sun 16/11/08 Tot Of The Knar @ CHELTENHAM 3:30 LTO looks to have been a good race because three runners from it have followed up with a good effort. Tot Of The Knar finished 3rd by 2 1/4L to Mirage Dore who has finished 3rd or better in all 10 UK runs. 2nd place Fair Along won a Listed event at Cheltenham yesterday at the price of 10/1. 4th place Lordsbridge placed 4th of 22 at Cheltenham on Friday at the price of 15/2. 5th place Bantry Bere placed 3rd of 10 at at the price of 14/1. 5pts ew @ 6/1 Bet365 (BOG)

Jockey R P McLemon was able to guide him to a 10L victory on their only pairing (14Mar08). With 2 wins and a 3rd from 4 races he finished this year makes him a good e/w chance. It cannot be forgotten that he was raced in Graded events when in Germany so a Class 3 should be simple. 3pts ew @ 14/1 Ladbrokes

Wins by 17L and 48L is very good. His second placed effort came at the C&D by a neck to Finger Onthe Pulse. He handled the hill well enough to suggests this place is something worth running at again. Trainer N J Henderson's form is very good so far and his record this year with jockey B J Geraghty has 8 wins from 22 in the UK. 1pt to win

12:45 Kelso Blacks Bridge Only runner today from trainer J Howard Johnson. With his hurdlers in top form I think this is one to go with today. Jockey Denis O'Regan has won with Johnsons last 4 hurdlers. 10pts win @ SP 12:45 Kelso Signalman 7/4rpf with the second favorite forcast at 11/2 so plenty is expected from this one. Consistent on the flat - 2,2,3,2 from August to October 2008. Made Hurdle debut LTO finishing 2nd of 16 (4/1) at Newcastle. 10pts win @ SP 1:15 Kelso Jass (BBOTD) Beaten 16L by According To Pete who has been in much better form going into that race. Drop in trip is something Jass will like as LTO was the farthest he's had to travel - 3m1f. Trainer K G Reveley has 1 chase win this year and that happened to be a distance dropper - 3m2f to 2m4f. Reveley also looks to be in good form having a winner and three thirds from the last four. 10pts win @ SP 1:15 Kelso Mr Barnacle Has 1 win and 2 seconds from 4 runs this year. Might be available at a good price (RPF is 9/2) thanks to his trainers latest runners being out of place. Trainer N G Richards does have just one placed runner from the last 9 but tracks used was not his favorite. Market Rasen, Hexham, Wetherby, and Newcastle is not where Richards does most of his winnings. Kelso, is where he has won the most and raced the most the last 5 seasons - 37 from 172 overall. 27 wins from 133 hurdlers is also most at any course. Jockey C J Condon has 3 wins from 4 runs at this course for 2008. 10pts win @ SP 13:50 Kelso Naiad du Misselot Favorites: 17 wins from 32 non-handicap chases since 2006. He returned from summer break last month for a 2nd of 7 finishs at Haydock where he was beaten by just a head. Lifetime form over hurdles has 3 wins, 1 each for second and third so he has some skills. This second time out over chase should show him to have improved his game. 10pts win @ SP 2:25 Kelso Tartan Snow Course and Distance winner (06May08) and that was with the same jockey booked for today. Beaten 45L LTO but that being his first race 5+ months makes it forgivable. Lifetime form of 2,1,1,4 with Lee makes the RPF of 12/1 a very good bet to have. 10pts win @ SP
