They have conceded just five goals in 13 games recording eight clean sheets in the process.Braga also not known to be good travellers away from home,winning just 2 away in their domestic season.Their last trip to england didnt end up to good with a 6-0 thumping from Arsenal.Despite Missing Gerrard & suarez for this game,i still think they will have enough about themselves to get thru.Carroll will be a handful Liverpool to qualify(Gonna be searching for a decent price) & Liverpool -1 @ 0.730 @SBOBET (6/10)

Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 8 March Shaktar vs Roma Shakthar has a great oppurtunity to advance into the final 8 of this competition.On the back of their great home form & attacking football,i really think they are going to trouble roma.Roma will definately need to atack Shakthar & grab some goals.I really think this is going to play into Shakthars hands.There will be plenty of open space for the 3 forwards to exploit...& i am pretty sure the weather won't be to favourable to roma like stated previously.Also it has been noted that Roma isn't the most physical outfit lately...after taking up considerable leads against Genoa & Parma away,they were the hauled back in both those games & didnt look to sharp in those games.Whether this is a case of lack of concentration & or physical ability...i really think they are going to have to pull something out of the bag if they are to go thru. Albirex vs Tampines Arguably 2 of the more better sides are taking to the pitch today.Both teams are very attacking minded & Albirex this year look a completely different team to the one last year.Albirex have started well this campaign albeit against 2 of the weaker teams in this league.Scoring 6 & not letting in a single goal.While Tampines has also scored 6 goals but has let in 3.Couple of factors need to be taken into consideration for today's game.. 1)Tampines are coming of a 3-1 win at maldives in the AFC cup.Its important to note that the effects of travelling could effect the team after it took them 16 hours to fly back to singapore as they only touched down on thurs 4pm after leaving maldives at midnight after the game on wednesday.Even the players themselves have said they are tired.(Teams here are not used to travelling long distances like in europe) 2)Albirex will be celebrating a "Family day" during the match.This will definately help albirex as teams here are not used to big crowds & they will definately try to entetain the fans with some positive performces. Actually both will be trying their best.The team that wins this game will get automatic qualification for the next asian cup edition.So might be important to note team news & see if Ji sung Recovers from the knee problem & also important to note this is Lee pyong yu's,Not sure if i spelled it right)(their Left back last game to fter announcing his retirement.The team will definately be trying to give him a good send off.That will be it, 3rd place decider on Friday, final on Saturday. The Friday match will pretty much depend on who actually wants to win the match as it's a kind of meaningless affair. -
Re: Asian Cup Japan Vs Korea Both teams will definately be feeling the pressure for tonight.There is going to be some added spice with speculation insisisting that this will be Korea's captain Park ji sungs last time he will turn out for korea in a competition.So surely his teamates will want to give it their all for the skipper.Japan will welcome back Atsuto Uchida but japan will still be forced into shuffling his pack with Maya Yoshida sitting out of the match due to a suspension.Japan's Strenght lie's in their attack..with 11 goals in 4 games..But they have shown the tendency to be slightly vunerable at the back.Korea have only had 2 days to prepare for this game after their Quaterfinals...& will definately be feeling the effects the longer the game goes on.Due to the attacking nature of both teams & a slightly weaker defense of japan due to injuries to regulars n suspension as compared to their world cup defence & the less then convincing display of their keeper in the recent game against Qatar...im going for just a couple of bets to keep interest up. i totally agree everything so far is leaning towards a CC win...But their record in wellington just puts me off abit...Don't know why their record there is woeful...Plus after coming off a tough loss at home to brisbane who are flying..im sure Wellington will be trying its best not to lose. i am going on cENTRAL COAST 0/05 @ 1.880 BETINTERNETCentral Coast @ 3.09 pinnacle Central Coast have not scored in their last 6 games with Wellington, but that was when Wellington were playing well while CC were struggling. Now it is the other way around and it is CC who has been playing well, as they have 5 wins and a draw in their last 7 games, with 5 clean sheets in these games, while just 2 goals conceded in each in the other two games. Wellington, on the other hand had 4 losses prior to their 1-0 win over a poor Perth side, and it is still early to suggest they have some form now. They had allowed at least 2 goals in each of these previous 4 games, and with just 2 wins in their last 8 games, the game leans CC's way to get a rare win over Wellington. -
Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday 4th November i really do see value in Metalist.They have basically come to italy before & got the job done against sampdoria in last season's Europa league & i dont see why they cant do it again.Especially with Cassano out today after falling out with the clubs president. Metalist are doing very well in the league.Three points behind Dynamo kiev, and have won their last four matches in a row. Though they will miss the suspended Cleiton (who was sent of against sampdoria).Metalist also have one of the best defenses in their domestic league.So i am just going to go for a few bets here.... Hey,hasn't internacional also won the south american champions league?Do they get a bye into the tourney even if they can't qualify thru league standings?Just curious...Which may also factor into this game as they will have no motivation what so ever.Great work Nicko - keep it up :) I'll shed some light on the Ceara vs Internacional odds - Internacional have already said they'll rest a lot of players for this game after a strenuous campaign. Ceara are a terrible side but even they should be able to take a point against an Internacional side that doesn't know what "depth" means, let alone has it! -

Re: Singapore League Oct 4th Singapore Armed Forces vs Albirex A month of idling for SAF comes to end.A month of football inactivity will surely be hard to shake off.SAF has come thru a rough period this month.The defending champions have not had the best of title defenses...but have picked it up of late till the months break.Albirex are known for being a decent passing unit that just cant seem to find the killer touch.SAF has a chance too move up the table with a win while Albirex will look too close the gap on Beijing...SAFFC will be deprived of midfielder Rhysh Roshan Rai, who is recuperating after hernia surgery, while wingback Hafiz Osman and forward Indra Sahdan Daud are also out with knee injuries.Albirex will have one eye on the quarter final of the league cup will definately try not to pick up too much injuries & rotate reasonably too leave his team fighting fit.im exxpecting SAF to be proffesional & get the 3 points & quickly try to re establish their grip back after a month of inactivity.They wil look to pick up from where they left off. Young Lions Vs Sengkang This is a game of 2 struggling teams.Sengkang lay second last in the table.Their current predicament is basicaly down too their poor defensive play.They have let in some sloppy goals today.Scoring 22 (which is joint worst with a couple of clubs) n let in 44 which is the second worst tally.Young lions on the other hand are now in a period of transition...Recently they had 4 played banned for 8 months due to some violent play that caused a match to be abandoned.They will sorely be missed.Home side will denied the services of Gabriel Quak Jun Yi, Khairul Nizam, Madhu Mohana and Fairoz Hasan, after the quartet were handed lengthy suspensions from all football-related activities in the subsequent disciplinary hearing that essentially ended their 2010 season.But the important piece of news today is that these young lions team (a majority of them)recently travelled to vietnam for a quadrangular tournament & basically arrived bck 24 hours ago in preparations for the asian cup.This will not be good preparations & clearly some lads will be going to be feeling abit fatigued.Sengkang does play some decent football & today im going for a shoock result.Sengkang doesn't have much injuries & just a suspension.Its close to a fully fit squad for them. i think PAOK hasn't been in the best of form & have a big game against ARIS on sunday.Theey have also suffered from some internal problems within the club,stuff bout fans breaking into players car & their chairman having harsh words with players regarding their performances & fans confronting the team with regards to a loss.Not sure how true it all is....So ppl could argue that they won't be fully focused. Could be worth a small stake on maybe a draw.Not too sure....anybody here liking Dinamo Zagreb to win. A little shocked that odds are at 3.7. -
Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday 30th September Zenit vs AEK With AEK's coach Dusan Bajevic resignation after a string of bad results i doubt they will be ready for a tough trip too Russia.Zenit has been is great form & with their league in full flow will be more than ready. The form of Aleksandr Kerzhakov who bagged a hat trick in the previous group match will definately worry AEK who has a couple of players missing & with 3 points from previous group match,they definately won't be under too much pressure to force a result in Russia.So im going for HT/FT Zenit/Zenit @ 1.90 betinternet which i think represents a fair bit of value as they are extremely short on winning outright.

Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday 30th September Just some early thoughts on a few games Dortmund vs sevilla Clearly dortmund looks to have enough firepower to win this game.After winning 4-3 in Ukraine...i think they are taking this tournament very seriously.Scoring almost 20 goals in 6 matches is no mean feat,Sevilla has a new manager after their bad start to the season.Manzano is the new man at the helm.The new manager effect will surely boost the sevilla team but i think an away trip to dortmund is not the match he would have wanted to impose himself on the team.i am going to go for the home team to win here..Just on form.Just think that this match has come a little to fast for Manzano.Their confidence will surely still be rattled & with a few internal problems to deal with within his team (Fabiano's Press outburst).Dortmund will be creating plenty of chances & will fancy their chances against a fragile sevilla team.so going for Dortmund -0.5 @2 betinternet Over 2.5 @ 2 betinternet

Though they have had a game against Rubin kazan in similar situation(weather wise),i really think Zenit will be a different proposition.Only the heroics of Twente keeper Mihaylov kept them in the game in the first leg.Going to be a very interesting game.Zenit will be looking for a goal that will change the complexion of the game & try to attack at every oppurtunity.Twente will have plenty of chances to hit em on the counter when Zenit attack.I see a very open game in prospect.
