Re: Ligue 2> 27/28/30 July Dijon vs Guingamp Dijon are likely to go into this game without midfield duo Younousse Sankhare and Bennard Kumordzi. The former is reportedly close to joining Ligue 1 Nancy while the latter is having issues with the club. Guingamp are at full strength, and their side will have a familiar look to it. The only summer signing they made that’s likely to win a place in their initial line-up is right-back Jonathan Martins Pereira. guinamp 0/0.5 @ 2.06

Re: Singapore > S League > 2012 Small Write up for the Sleague Albirex vs Harimau Muda Harimau are facing a tough schedule.They only have 15 players avaialble for this game vs Albirex.Alot of suspensions…Injuries…National callups & a few players on trial in europe(13 players absent from the squad) & not to mention the suspension of their coach for this game due to a red card i the previous encounter.Having to recover from a loss against the young lions & against the in form Albirex who are really starting to put a great run of form together…for the title run in….This is going to be a hard ask for harimau as it is also the month of ramadhan where players will be fasting..Will be a tough game….Good luck. Re: Singapore > S League > 2012 Balestier Vs Hougang The wheels have fallen of the balestier title challenge.A morale sapping loss for them against gombak days ago was particularly dissapointing for them.Their lack of goals have been a major stumbling block for them.Very Solid team & surprisingly they play very well at home & never give away anything much at their ground.They have a very settled backline who are solid & it takes a lot to break them down.They have also made a new signing Z. Dragicevic who has been employed to basically get goals.He has been promising but will take time to settle in his new surrroundings. Importantly Hougang have been playing some decent football lately & have improved their form.Canadian Forward Webb has been instrumental in their upturns.Azhar Sairudin & Fadhil Salim are also in great form.Balestier will definately set up to stop Webb & Diallo from getting to much time on the ball.But i really don’t see hougang winning this.They may be a lot better then before, But balestier will definately be hurting from their loss against Gombak & want to prove that the last result was a blip after fluffing some glorious chances on an atrocious field.Balestier will play their usual style at home.Tight at the back & will definately create some chances against Hougang who aren’t the best defenders.Hougang will fancy their chances of nicking a point here but i think balestier will grab the win.They are just the better side & have the players that can deal with Webb. Balestier -0.5 @$1.85 Woodlands Vs Tampines Really think it’s going to be a total massacre here.Woodlands have one of the most woeful defensive records in the league & Tampines have a potent strikeforce.Not to mention they have resigned Alam Shah who is one of Asean’s best striker on his day for a short period.He might make the cut to play if he passes his mandatory beep test which is happening now.Clearly this is a statement of intent to all his rivals in the league.The coach of tamp is serious about winning the league.Woodlands will try to complete for a while & defend,but i do not see them holding out for long.As long as Duric & Hadzibulic play decently….Woodlands are going to be steamrolled.Bottom place beckons for woodlands & i think today is the day the fill it. Re: Singapore > S League > 2012 Albirex Niigata S vs. Tampines Rovers Quaterfinals week in singapore.Cup football now taking precedence with the league on a break.Albirex Nigata looks like they are going to be up against it.Tampines have a new spring in their step after their win over Balestier khalsa.What is more important to note is that they have a new marksman by the name of Sead Hadzibulic.He was bang on form for the last game & was a constant menace.This clearly means Duric will not have to shoulder the burden of carrying the team on.With Winger Jamil Ali also hitting some form,they look to be a good bet to cause some problems to Albirex’s shaky defense.Tampines coach Steven Tan has already earmarked this competition as important after his side was knocked out of the AFC cup.With players like Mustafic controlling the tempo of the team & protecting the tamp backline i am all the more confident tamp will pull of the win.Albirex may be impressive with their hightempo fast paced football…But there is a distinct lack of clinical finishing.Alot of their goals come from set pieces & they often find it difficult to break opponents down.Tampines are a different prospect from Young Lions & SAF.They will not be sloppy defensively & give away cheap fouls & tamp defend way better during corners due to their players being really good in the air & having intimidating physical prsence.Albirex love to play intricate passing game…but usually never have the strikers to punish the better team in the league.Both teams are in great form in the league & cup currently.Tampines won’t be packing the box like how other teams play against Albirex.With this also being a 2 legged affair,i don’t think both teams will be going at each other to much.Tamp will be aware the threat Soya & Yamakoshi(as he scored the winning goal in the league match) pose.So i think it will be a cagey first half with both teams feeling each other out.Both teams have a fully fit squad to choose from & well rested. Re: Singapore > S League > 2012 Tanjong pagar vs Albirex Albirex are on a high currently.After their last gasp winner against SAF in an absolute goal fest,they are absolutely bouyant.In koichi sugiyama albirex have a very good coach.The JAPANESE team probably play some of the best attacking football in the league.They play a high tempo game & fast counter attacking game & their style is all entertainment & goals.They have very good forwards whom i think will exploit TP's weak defense.In Yasuhiro Yamakoshi & Toshikazu Soya they have 2 very fast & direct strikers that can pose a problem to any defence in the league.Albirex are on a great run of form & will definately look to to put 3 points on the board & try to close the gap on the top of the table.Albirex defensively are not the best due to their open attacking game.Scoring 21 goals but letting in 16.Tanjong pagar however are one of the more blunted teams i nterms of attacking football.Most of their goals are from set pieces.Scoring only 10 goals in the league while letting in 25.So i don't really see TP causing them to much problems defensively due to their lack of goal scoring threat.Their top scorer in the league is T. Kawanabe(Tanjong pagar) with 6 goals.So he has more then half of the teams goals.He is definately out of the game due to his red card in the previous game.So with him missing..i really don't see much of a attacking menace from TP.They will miss his runs into the box & all round energy he brings.There is no one there to pick up the slack from him being out.Also this game is being played on the artificial turf & will make it easier for Albirex to play their high tempo game & Tanjong pagar is not used to playing on this surface & will definately struggle. Terengganu vs Lions Singapore today make a trip to terenganu on the back of a 9-0 win against sabah.Eventhough terenganu have had the better of the last few encounters with lions the lions terenganu will be missing a few players.Important thing to note for this game is that terenganu are playing without a single of it foreigners.Ericson Da silva & & their top striker Francis Doe (who hasn’t returned from liberia after the african cups qualifiers).Singapore will be without its captain sharil ishak but have coped well without him. Singapore 0/0.5 @ 1.88 betinternet Negeri Sembilan v Sarawak Sarawak are missing like 4-5 players and their cameroon striker will be rested to focus on winning their remaining home games which will be played behind closed doors. Negeri Sembilan are traditionally a strong home team with a good attacking midfield and are starting to get into stride at home. Sarawak have not won here in a while . Re: WC2014 Qualifiers Friday 8th June to Wednesday 16th June 2012 Australia Vs Japan Australia were woeful against Oman away.Clearly they were set up to not lose the game.Think Australia will set up the same way today & try to stifle the jap's.Plenty of experience in the aussie line up to get a result but they will be wary as the japs are in great form after hammering Jordan 6-0.Home experience will be important.Hopefuly Australia play with a recognised striker today that is able to link up other players.They lacked this in oman & invited the oman team to attack them.There are also doubts over the fitness of Yasuyuki Konno & Maya Yoshida a casualty from the win over Jordan after damaging his left knee during the game.This might leave japan with an absolutely new look centrel defensive pairing.So im hoping australia play kennedy & exploit this.Just gonna have a few bets today.Think australia will be tight & try to nick a goal from set pieces Under 2 @ 2.00 small stake Australia Handicap 0 @ 1.95 small stake Just to keep the game interesting.

Re: International Friendlies > 2012 Malaysia Vs Singapore Singapore are missing alot of regulars here today. Haris harun (vice cptain) bahrudin (will miss him on set pieces) Yasir hanapi (bit part player) Shi jiayi (Ankle injury) & all the usual suspects.Such as Ishak(captain)…Amri(Top striker).But he has finally relented & called up veteran 41 year old striker Duric.(has a great record against malaysia) Personally i think this game is going to be tight.Malaysians will be going for it.Singapore will be using duric as a focal point for attack.Singapore is going to play 2 holding midfielders as they usually do away from home.This time alot of experienced players will be in the line up.Singapore coach has already said that he will be taking this match seriously & wants to win the causeway challenge.Singapore has more options up front today then previously.But most of his strikers are typical centre forwards that offer no pace & just straight up down the middle type play.Malaysia will be starting probably the same team as they did in the first leg.But Rajagopal (malaysia coach) is keeping his cards close to his chest.There will be tension in the air as the previous match had crowd trouble after the game due to some dodgy refeereing. i am going to back the unders Under 2.5/3 @1.80 betinternet. Re: International Friendlies > 2012 Hong Kong Vs Vietnam Just going to have a small go on vietnam.Eventhough they played barely 48 hours ago against china.I still think if they play their top team…they can get something against Hong kong.Hong kong were poor against singapore in their last game. singapore didn’t even play their full team.Eventhough Hong kong won 1-0,i think vietnam are a totally different kettle of fish.Vietnam is a fast counter attacking team with much more pace to bother them & will attack them at pace..Just going to have a go at Vietnam 0/0.5 @1.85 @ betinternet

Re: International Friendlies > 2012 Going to have a flutter on a direct iran win.Albania are missing a few regulars such as absentees Lala and Duro will be heavily missed from midfield, not to mention pacey Salihi up front and defenders Curri and Vangjeli.Iran are a totally different type of opponent to Qatar whom the beat 2-1.Carlos Queiroz has improved iran's attacking fortunes & i expect them to get a result here as they have plenty of experience with players such as karimi & nekounam. Trengganu have drawn the last 5 games in all competitions albeit to lower rank opposition.Trengganu also have had some problems with their fans who have called for the resignation of the president.They also recently appointed Butler an ex kelantan coach to try to tturn around their fortunes.While Kelantan are on a absolute high wiing their countries FA cup for the first time ever.They will be missing their 7 goal scorer gaddar who is suspended.Kelantan have won the last 5 games & even beat Singapore 12 who are currently top of the table.Kelantan are a different quality & im backing them to beat trengganu.
