    Re: Sloppys Football Season 09/10 Coventry vs Ipswich Coventry have struggled to strengthen over the summer, and have lost two good players in Danny Fox and Scott Dann. Roy Keanes Ipswich however have made a few good signings in Damien Delaney, Lee Martin and Tommy Priskin, giving them a few options up front. Keane ended last season on a high with Ipswich, on a two game win streak, and from that and his time impressive time at Sunderland it looks like he'll do well at Portman Road. I think these two teams will be at different ends of the table come May, and I think Ipswich on paper should win this one, and at odds of 8/5. Ipswich @ 8/5 : £6.50 Ipswich 1-0 @ 7/1 : £2.50 Ipswich 2-1 @ 9/1 : £2.50

    Again, came within a whisker of winning this with West Brom scoring in the dying minutes only for it to be given offside. Newcastle put up a lot more fight than I expected, and going forward they look dangerous with the power and size of Carrol and Ameobi. However at the back they look shocking still, even with the experience of Taylor and Collocini. I think they could have some exciting games this year. West Brom dissapointed me, they lacked any real bite up front, although Cox should help in that department, and they lacked any composure on the ball, which shows they're playing at their level really. Interesting game to watch in terms of the rest of the season, but dissapointed my bets didnt come in. Staked: £15.50 Returned: £0 Staked: £49.50 Returned: £39.45 Bank: £89.50

Pleased my handicaps came in though.
