Re: Best Bet Of The Day - Mon 7/7/08 Ripon 7.50: Prescision Break WIN Chasing a five-timer, Paul Cole's improving colt hacked up LTO at Wolverhampton and John Egan was very bullish after that performance so more is expected and a 6lb penalty doesnt look enough to stop him.

Re: Best Bet Of The Day - Sat 5/7/08 Sandown 3.55: MELODRAMATIC WIN This daughter of Sadler's Wells looks to have an obvious opportunity to win here. She ran a decent race LTO at Newbury in listed company, but everything about the run showed she desperately needed a return to a mile, and Roger Charlton has obliged. In form Richard Hughes takes the ride.

Re: When do English Clubs enter Intertoto Cup?
Very thin ice ;)did west ham buy an easter egg? some of them came with a free cup - you could use this one next season and then you can say "West Ham won a cup" too :ok -
Re: The Eclipse The field lacks a super star like we have seen in recent years but that makes it a more open contest in my opinion and it should be a fantastic race. I cant split Multidimensional or Pipedreamer but will probably go with Cecil's.

Re: Stall handler hits horse at Brighton... Possibly mate.

Re: Stall handler hits horse at Brighton... haha For anyone who wasnt watching, horse was playing up a bit, the handler approaches and lands a punch on it. Attheraces tried to play the incident down, but its a disgrace in my opinion.

Not good :wall Fupping idiot.

Re: Tom Dascombe.. Yep, Caprio 2nd for Dascombe. Another solid performance though.

Re: Tom Dascombe.. Caprio involved in a photo but think he left it all too late.

Re: Covering Euro08 bet
You couldn't have persuaded me to let it ride. I was sure that Spain would win' date=' but just couldn't risk that money. Not with my current debts lol.[/quote'] Yeah, I know what you mean mate. Me and Boyd both backed Austria 0-2 points and they played with a bit of promise first game so we had a decision to make whether to cover it or let it ride. Thankfully I didnt cover it and won a tidy profit but had it go against me plenty of times. -
Re: Covering Euro08 bet
£250 even better :beer...BUT £110 is better:ok -
Re: Tom Dascombe.. Yeah, I like Longsdon too BTP. Ginge, your right as there is no better tutor than Pipey.

Re: Best Bet Of The Day ~ Tuesday 1th Brighton 4.30 Causual Garcia WIN Won with loads in hand at Lingfield LTO having showed nothing in his previous 6 outings. He is still well treated and is a typical Prescott type who will improve and improve. His run at Lingfield shows he has enough to win this.

Whats everyone's opinions of him? I personally think he is one of the best trainers in the game. He is only young but his strike rate is incredible seeing as he only has a small string. His horses wouldnt know how to run a bad race. He gets nowhere near the financial backing of the top trainers but is starting to prove himself and I think he has the ability to be a major name in future years. I always back Dascombe's horses because I know they will be fit and ill get a run for my money. Interviewed on attheraces yesterday, he said his horses hadnt hit tip gear so far this season, yet he has fired 19 winners (correct me if im wrong). Saville's Delight has run 17 for Dascombe, and been placed in at least 14 of them. Sawwaah was just as consistent for Dascombe, before moving on to a different stable (Carroll's I think) and has been running shockers so it goes to show that this young trainer can get the best out of horses. Sorry, just thought he deserved some credit. :dude P.S. Caprio runs for Dascombe (3.00 Brighton) and yes, ill be on at 11/4 :)

Re: When do English Clubs enter Intertoto Cup? Ali, this was West Ham's only silverware since god knows when so shhh ya mush. The Uefa Cup should be exciting this year with Villa, Pompey, Man City (if they qualify) and Spurs (sorry for swearing) and theres loads of decent bets in these sorts of competitions so happy days.

Re: Best Bet Of The Day Tables ~ July 2008

Re: English City at Musselburgh tonight.... Yeah, thanks for the info lads. I was just thinking they were maybe pulling it out because word had got out that it was ready to go in. Ill keep my eye on the horse anyway.

Re: Covering Euro08 bet Congrats on the win mate but wish I had seen this thread earlier so I could of tried to persuade you to let it ride. However, £95 is a tidy profit so well done.

Re: English City at Musselburgh tonight.... Log into attheraces.com to check price and what do you know, English City is a NR. Smells fishy to me.

A mate of mine from West Ham is an avid follower of Horse Racing and owns a couple of decent horses. He text me last week telling me to 'lump on' English City at Worcester on Wednesday but it didnt run. I have just receieved a text from the same bloke saying 'Dont miss English City at Musselburgh tonight'. I have noticed the horse has been running over the jumps but is on the flat tonight. Its run well on the track before and is off a fair mark. This bloke has decent contacts, particularly from up North so im definitely going to back it but does anyone think it sounds suspicious? Thanks.

Re: June Watch Im well confused.

Re: interesting horse to watch I backed this horse when Fallon tipped it to win at Great Leighs. Got beat on the line but did look impressive last night.

Anyone know? Thanks.

Re: Semi Final 2 - Russia v Spain Im backing the draw here, even though I think Russia have the potential to win this easily, but Spain are no pushovers so im not risking it. At the end of the night, people could be coming on here saying 'it was obvious Russia would win, look how they were playing beforehand' and ill be one of them if they do win, but Spain always look as though they have a goal in them. Both have impressed me during the tournament (Russia more so). Spain beat them 4-1 in the opening game but that was a freak result as Russia had their fair share of the play. It looks to me like it will be the game of the tournament (shame its not the final) and both will go all out to win so I think they could cancel each other out. Ive got it in a double with Germany so hope my luck continues. Good luck everyone on PL.
