    For any of you guys that are put off by the minimum $20 deposit........just deposit $30 then withdraw $23 so you're left with enough to cover the 6 games! :ok Good luck all:hope TQM

    This might sound like something stupid, but I am trying to improve my poker game starting at the level I can afford: the freeroll. I must be doing something fundamentally wrong because I keep on getting knocked out early. My last freeroll just finished I was dealt J-10o in LP, raised to 3xBB, 2 callers. Flop comes Q9-rag-rag for an OE straight draw. All checked, I raise, SB calls. He keeps checking, I keep betting out. I am all-in, nothing hits, he turns over 5-3 to win with pair 5. :wall This kind of thing keeps on repeating: I am unable to knock them out and they win somehow with a crappy hand. From my experience you cannot really bluff since you always get callers. People call and raise with virtually any high card - rag combination, and go all in on any pair. Position is unknown to them. I play fairly tight: the premium hands in EP broadening to suited connectors and semi-connectors, high connectors, low pairs and picture cards in LP. I see about 20% of the flops. In short, I am just totally frustrated and have NFI anymore. Also, how much is the standard of play at low-limit HE like the freerolls? My money experience at the low levels is extremely limited due to my very low deposits and crappy skills at the time.

    This week’s Sports Day Saturday concentrates on the weekends big rugby match: WALES V FRANCE. On Saturday afternoon there will be two MTT’s that begin @ 13:00. All you need to do is decide what team you think will win on the handicap: 13:00: WALES -4, 1500 starting chips, 10 minute blinds 13:00: FRANCE +4, 1500 starting chips, 10 minute blinds If you select the correct result and finish in the top 5 of the appropriate tournament you will win an additional $100 on top of your tournament winnings. (Please note that if the game ends in a draw the top five of each tournament will receive $50 each- a direct split of the $500 prize pool.) Good Luck

    Re: Chip passing Hmmm not sure if it's cheating:unsure It's very bad play but a similiar thing was happening in the laddies PL game and I wouldn't have accused anyone of cheating.

    I would have called,but you sometimes do what you feel best for you. Next time,maybe you will. As for the prat who called you a mug,hmmmmmmmmmm,nice name he has there,my 6 year old son watches american wrestling,seems like we have a little boy on here who does too.

    Thanks to GAF the PL and Laddies for a great added value torny. Did'nt know tornys still had 1500 starting chips....lol. Maybe next time you's should look at maybe 2k starting with 1 $5 rebuy so to have a bit more playability. Thnx again. P.S Dico, I would'nt say it caused major upset, just a few guys looking the password and when they did'nt get it made a few sly remarks. When your a forum the size of the PL it is easier to get the likes of Laddies to put added value on a torny. PL has over 19000 members i think and laddiesforum only has around the 600 mark.
    Fair enough mate:ok Just think it was out of order hassling people for the password:@ The thing that got me was some of the people after the password were experienced players that win lots of money anyway:lol Have to say I was also surprised when we started with 1500 chips:\
