  1. Re: UEFA Euro 2016 Qualifiers > Thursday October 9th Rooney to score 2 or more at 1,66 is my bet in the game which ''occupies'' almost all the thread :-)...Exactly the kind of game where he won't be bothered with defensive tasks, does the penalties too, good strikers alongside to take away some of the ''attention'' from him. Odds are very fair in such case and a medium bet is worth the risk. GL

  2. Re: UEFA Euro 2016 Qualifiers > Friday October 10th I do believe the Czechs will be happy with a point in Turkey, most countries in Europe would. And that's what makes them very dangerous in this game, a team with good attacking potential starting with a tight approach can make the game go either way. I see this as an Overish game and BTTS, but for now NO BET. Same in Sofia, the odds are set right IMO, Croatia has more class in the squad, yet Bulgaria is very compact and organized, regardless where they play, with high spirits. If Bulgaria scores first in the second half, it will be a mountain to climb for Croatia to equalize. Very tough and tight game, Cards must considered as a good option here (never checked the line but it is worth it in any game with Bulgaria involved), Underish game, Draw at HT, for now NO BET. Italy can win with ease, but I rather see them struggle for the second, and very much for a third goal. Under holds value here, the Azeris will go out with 11 in defense. When saying this, an early goal, penalty, red card can change the prediction in 5 minutes, I am only saying what it looks to me for now. NO BET. In Cyprus the odds are set well too, people might get a but carried away with the good games by certain clubs from Cyprus, yet all these clubs have many foreign players involved. Draw at HT, Israel by 1 goal, BTTS is on my mind, but again - NO BET. Holland can unleash hell, and I very much hope so, but none of the odds so far impresses me. Holland can also give us another boring 1-0, 2-0, which they did so often in the past 3 qualifiers. NO BET for now either.

  3. Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday October 2nd I apologize for almost no reasoning here, all bets are based on what I have seen in recent games, motivation and offensive power. All bets are Over 2,5 Goals and Both to score, with odds between 1,95 (Astra) up to 2,50 ( Slovan Bratislava) - Wolfsburg, Astra, Slovan, Sparta Prague, Feyenoord, Zurich and HJK Helsinki. GL all

  4. Re: Malmö FF v Olympiacos > Wednesday October 1st

Malmö FF The confidence has never been higher, this is a great opportunity to earn the first points in the group stage. What is positive is that Malmö will be seen as underdogs against everyone, so they have really nothing to lose. Some examples, at home versus Prague they were priced around 4-5x, versus Salzburg as high as 6-8x and they proved the odds wrong on all occasions. Though, to put the hype in perspective - Malmö sold out all 3 home games in 15 minutes, that's around 70 000 tickets divided in 3 matches. The form is great, confidence flying high for all reasons. Let's add that Malmö are 12 games unbeaten at home, winning eight during that time. Moreover: They are unbeaten at home in 7 games in UEFA competition, having kept a clean sheet in each of them. That being said, a home factor is huge when Malmö plays. Not saying they are favorites, but the city and stadium will boil like never before. Forget Salzburg or Prague, this can be another chapter that earns Malmö more respect. Rosenberg have hit top form right in time, along with winger Forsberg. Also the tall striker Thelin is a good target player who will win a lot of duels in the air like he did versus Salzburg. I do not doubt Malmö's quality, and truth is that every time you get Malmö at home as underdogs - it's an auto play. Especially against a pretty "even" opposition, at least Olympiacos are 'easiest' opponent to face in the group, and Malmö need to take advantage of that. Olympiacos Since September 2000, Olympiacos have played 42 road games in Champions League with a record of 7-7-28 (7 wins, 7 draws, 28 losses) which is actually a terrible record for a Champions League team of their caliber regarding how regular they play this tournament. Sure, they opened up strong with a home victory over Atletico Madrid, but that was at home. The result have made the money move to Olympiacos here, quite confidently. How did they follow up the victory though? Two victories in the league, but before this trip to Sweden - By losing versus Atromitos on the road in the Greek League. Player by player, the team is better than Malmö, but we have seen this before and how money means nothing. The poor road record is a factor, actually to only have won 7 out of 48 road games is below average for a team like this. Greek teams are defensively solid, but offensively a little doubtful. Malmö have kept several clean sheets in a row now, in European competitions, they will have a crowd of 23 000 backing them, Malmö have an ability to make better teams look bad. I won't discuss whats good and whats bad with the teams - truth is that this is another attempt, hopefully just as successful as the previous Malmö plays. To see them in +300 at home is a joke, but I understand - they are not justified as a good home team yet. It's a bet equally divided by heart and brain. Tail on your own risk. Plays Malmö PK @ 3.00 (1/10) Malmö +0.5 @ 1.91 (2/10) Malmö win to nil @ 6.00 (0.5/10)
    Great job, keep it on!
  5. Re: Ludogorets Razgrad v Real Madrid > Wednesday October 1st

I see a lot more value in Goal/Goal ( Both to score ) in any game with Real against much weaker opposition. Real with a clean sheet is not a very common thing, they simply outscore opposition. The odds for BTTS -Yes against Real are always higher, for no particular reason, as Real is no better at the back than in the past 5-6 years, it is forward where they can destroy everyone. If Basel and Elche can score at Bernabeu, I see no reason why Ludo should be shy in Sofia, no need to park the bus in a game which has a clear favourite. Real might as well keep a clean sheet vs the rookie in CL, but there is no value in the odds...on the contrary, a goal by Ludogorets is a very good option in view of the odds.
I will leave the talking to those who watch football with twisted glasses...or have no idea what really happens in each game...or both.
  6. Re: Anderlecht v Borussia Dortmund > Wednesday October 1st

Dortmund is one of the today's probable traps. Others are Arsenal and Leverkusen. All of them on no bet list.
I do not see it this way. With me Dortmund is not a ''trap'', this is CL, not Bundesliga. They worry me at the back, true, but forward with Ramos, Immobile, Kagawa and above all Aubameyang their options are far better than Anderlecht. The game looks as a classical Over to me, leaning towards the guests. Leverkusen a trap? If these were in knock-out stages, my money would be 10/10 times on Benfica to qualify, with more class, experience and far better tactical culture. In the groups the logic of this particular game could deliver to us a score draw, although I would still lean towards the guests a small fraction. Only thing stopping me is that there are plenty of games to go, and Germans often produce some incredible results. Both to score and Over again... With Arsenal we have a team with great home record in CL, players were missed before, yet Arsenal delivered often enough, sometimes with high-scoring and unexpected great performances. Wenger will be clearly looking for a vital goal in the first half in order to control the game later. His boys might as well seal it with a single goal. What we don't know is how the Turks will act in the first half. An open start can bring them both glory or a murder. In-play by all means! GL
  7. Re: Anderlecht v Borussia Dortmund > Wednesday October 1st I am possibly getting a bit ''excited'' here but bar the game in Madrid I see goals everywhere. The injury mini-crisis in Arsenal ''opens'' the game for goals both ends. In Sofia Real can complete the Over themselves by HT. Dortmund despite some domestic hicups are a great power here, and also can deliver, against a Belgium team that doesn't hide much. Malmoe plays great attacking football, yet facing a team a class above them who managed to score 3 vs Atletico Madrid - not many have done that recently with Simeone in charge. In Basel I see an open approach from the home team, against hardly impressive L'pool so far, yet with enough power to score anywhere in this group. In fact in Basel I am looking at a goal fiesta, hopefully. Leverkusen and Benfica have both goals in them, but I would go big on the Over here, despite also being on the cards - an early goal by either side could be great, yet the First Half could be slow too, so More goals in second half in Germany looks to me as a better option. Overall I am doing a 6-game combo with Overs in the games above (Heinz), and keeping an eye on the in-play big time, including the game in St.Petersburg, for a bigger bet/bets where I see the potential at HT. 8. Re: Ludogorets Razgrad v Real Madrid > Wednesday October 1st

After Ludo were well beaten on Saturday by Levski SF' date=they will host Real Madrid on Wednesday. They weren't 100% focus on the derby game in the local championship and there is no doubt about that.Terziev(CB) and Barth(CB) are out.Ludogorets showed some signs of having problems in defence and those mistakes were punished with ease by Levski but now they will have to deal with Ronaldo and Benzema. It was easy against lpool who are totally out of form and humiliated by Rodgers, but Real Madrid is totally different proposition. The stadium will be full. But the fans are here to watch Real Madrid, not Ludogorets. They have no real fans in fact, because the team was founded 6 years ago + the game is not in their own town Razgrad but in Sofia. They have no team songs too and so called "fans"sing bulgarian national songs... I think the possession of the ball will be about 25%-75%.Real Madrid over 2.5 goals @ 1.66 will be the winning bet here.I doubt Ludo will score ,so BTTS-No @ 1.8 is a good option too.Real Madrid -2 AH @ 1.75 is ok either.Correct Score 0:3 from me.
I seriously don't understand what is your problem!? You always leave the impression that you are totally negative towards your own clubs. Wikipedia says the Club was registered as such in 2001. Surely more than 6 years. Not to mention that Razgrad had a football team in the communist days too...Who cares about football songs and who sings them? Football songs!!!??? Get real or change doctor! It is what the players do, this is not an opera house. Fans or no fans, Ludogorets in the past few years gave a good fight to Zagreb, Partizan and Basel, Liverpool, PSV, Lazio, Steaua, with entertaining and well-organized football, and among the clubs mentioned 4 have won Euro trophies in the past. Not bad by any standards. Remember your roots and try to stay positive and proud with the little things achieved in a little country. Big clubs like Real will never be big if there are no small clubs like Ludogorets... Otherwise you are becoming just another always-moaning, everything-knowing, ever-negative Bulgarian, the kind of people which I meet on the streets every day, and the kind of people that make me often feel embarassed. You won't earn any credits here by slagging off your own people (one way or another) and clubs. Just the fact that Ludogorets are in the CL groups is huge for our standards - how many times an Irish Club (for instance) was in CL groups? Or Hungarian? Or Austrian? Ever read a post here from Irish punters being ''political-critical'' to their own clubs? Don't search - you won't find any! With Levski once and now Ludogorets little Bulgaria got in the CL groups twice, right? Not to mention the years before the current CL format, with CSKA Sofia twice in the semis, smashing on the way there (or at least giving a hell of a fight) to Champions like Ajax, Forest, Liverpool, Bayern, Juventus and many more in their best years!? I am a proud Bulgarian, with all the huge achievements we had in the past in all sports. The bad times now don't make me less proud. I am also a proud fan of CSKA Sofia. since 1969, when you probably wasn't born yet, and as such I have no reason domestically to like clubs like Ludogorets, sponsored by shady people. Locally I only watch 2-3 games per season, the one and only real game here is CSKA - Levski. Nothing else has to me any emotional value in the Bulgarian football anymore. Nevertheless, it doesn't take away from the club Ludogorets and the players all the good games they produced in Europe in the past 3 years! I know your kind of people, you always find ways out after a good verbal ''whipping'', yet ''small'' people like you make me pop into this forum less and less often. Don't bother answering, as I won't write back on the subject. Like I said though - change your GP or move out of Bulgaria, you might learn a bit abroad about how good we actually are, in almost everything we do...Bulgarians, that is!

  10. Re: Bundesliga > September 23rd & 24th

uefa should investigate the bremen v schalke match tonight. i can believe that they won tonight with their abysmal form and suspensions. it doesn't make any logical sense. i just don't get this team at all. i suspect this match was fixed
Sajtion, I do often follow you on many picks, as you do good here, but last night I wanted to challenge your suggestion about the Werder game. Bad thing after-eventing, but no shame really because I simply avoided the game, sticking just on my goal-favourites from last season, Hoffe (a much hated team in Germany). My logic about Schalke (to avoid) was simple - the club from Gelsenkirchen is huge by all Euro standards, money-wise, etc. Surely on the bench they have enough guys ''burning'' to go in the first 11, maybe not as good and well-known as the first choice ones, but surely motivated enough to make a point. Away to a team that is light years from the glory team in the recent past of Werder the game could have gone either way (which it did). An absolute NO BET in my book. If I was forced to bet on the Werder game, I would have probably gone for a low-scoring draw (wrong as well), for statistical reasons only - Germany is Number One among the top Euro Leagues in draws, which is good to be known by many, who often expect draws in Italy and France... As of UEFA investigating this or another game - they have to investigate all over Europe, all the time, all the leagues, and especially those quoted ''in-play'' by bookmakers more often. Platini admited it some years ago that up to 40% of the games are ''suspicious'', this might include the Werder game or not, the point is clearly the game is now corrupted by huge money. Which in most cases one way or another involves the bookmakers again, and/or Club Presidents, and many more...And a lot of credit must be given to Italy, who no longer wait for UEFA, FIFA, FBI, Interpol or the Russian Secret Services to investigate from outside. The Italians investigate all the time themselves, and unlike any other country got to massive extremes, including relegating a Champion! Regards and better luck tonight!
  11. Re: UEFA Europa League > Thursday September 18th

I'm finding it hard to see any value on teams tonight (maybe the first game - Karabakh might be a bit too long at 4.0 at home to St Etienne). In general' date=' I think we might see a lot of games being 'unders' as it's the first group game and sides might be cautious. So possible value in unders or draws (which are more likely with fewer goals)?[/quote'] Minefileld all over! Agree fully with a possible very underish night all over... I see as strong favourites teams who do not convince me to back them for a straight win, never mind on Handicaps! Salzburg might as well produce another goal fiesta, but I watched them in both games against Malmoe, I saw their last two domestic games as I was doing some in-play - they are not good at the back, not yet! Any team can take advantage from this, Celtic being in Europe very long - for sure! Fiore, Besiktas, Napoli, Lille and PSV are facing teams who are clearly going out for a point, defending with all they've got, but just because we all know little about these teams doesn't mean that they should be rated so low - after all they all got here, one way or another, with certain footballing culture and values. A point here means a lot for the smaller teams, but by no means the end of the world to the ''Big Boys'' - first, there are plenty of games coming in the groups, second - bigger teams often rotate or/and underestimate this Cup and/or the ''unknown'' opposition. Apollon IMO are also underrated, some bigger scalps than the Swiss were taken in Cyprus in the recent years by all the local teams. I only see PAOK and Sevilla as clear favourites, but I rather go in-play. Cards in many games are also interesting (including these last two)... Save your money for better days... Good luck all
  12. Re: Champions League Third Qualifying Round 1st Leg - Tues 29th & Wed 30th July

Agree that 2' date='30 is a crazy price here, just as I see the odds for Over 2,5 goals in [b']Aalborg and Liege at 2,25 and 2,07. As much as I see Dinamo picking up at least a point, and Panatinaikos clearly underestimated vs Standard, there's attacking spirit in both games with the hosts. Maybe Goal/Goal would be a safer bet in all 3 games, but I went for ''glory''... I short I follow the Over 2,5 at 2,30 in Ludogorets, adding Over 2,5 Goals in the other 2 games - medium stakes and a small stake trixie...All 3 games in fact are tempting for Over 3,5 Goals or at least a safety choice for Over 3. GL all
    Nightmare...
  13. Re: Champions League Third Qualifying Round 1st Leg - Tues 29th & Wed 30th July

So' date=' my final call on [b']Ludo-Partizan is overs. The odds are simply insane - 2.30 for over 2.5, which is price, more typical for Argentine Primera. I already wrote about Ludo problems in defense. On the other hand, their attack is complete and they almost always score goals at home (plus Partizan defense is not that good). Ludo should score at least once, but most likely more than once. Partizan has all excellent chance to score at least a goal, either, given the defense troubles of Ludo. I cannot see this game with less than 2 goals. Over 2 Asian Goal @ 1.725 (bet365)

  14. Re: Last 16 - Argentina v Switzerland > Tuesday July 1st

I feel this game has a potential to be the banana skin of the round of 16! As my favourite team in this World Cup, Argentina have been desperately disappointing. Yes they had three wins, but they all contained an element of luck or relied on a moment of magic from Messi. What's even worse for a side that prides itself for having the best strike force in world football, they were barely watchable. Aside from Messi, we have only seen Di Maria impose himself on the games somewhat, but that's about it. I'm loathe to admit, but this is not a vintage Argentina team. No way ih hell are they winning this World Cup! Switzerland are known as defense specialists, but you wouldn't think it when you look at their results. Obviously they were outclassed by France, but overall they were good value for the second place finish in their group. Ottmar Hitzfeld is a very experienced strategist who will know how to set up his team to contain Argentina and give his team the best chance for success. I expect a very conservative approach from the swiss, especially in the early stages of the game. I don't know if they will be able to hold them for the full 90 minutes, but I bet they do until half time at least. My bet is a 0-0 half time correct score @ 3.25 4pts. bet365
    Perfect play, well done!
  15. Re: Quarter-Final - Brazil v Colombia > Friday July 4th NO BET for me, a game to watch and enjoy. As much as I love everything about Brazilian football in many years, I posted earlier that time is coming when Brazil will face real class here, and they will struggle. The pressure on the team is so heavy, that you can almost feel the fear of losing. The home crowd can easily turn against the team if the game develops in a wrong way. I do not see the confidence, neither a winning spirit in many great players. I do not see influential midfield, which dominates the game, with skill, and in previous years - with imagination and ''pervert'' moves we all remember for ages. Bar Neymar the attack is so far toothless, and when the real danger comes from a single player, it is much easier for any opposition to control the game. The defence is average, or a fraction above average... If the referee blows his whistle 50/50 and no ''gifts'' given to the home team, both teams can win, regardless how and when. Those who follow in-play late night games in South America should have noticed how far the Colombian football has gone in the past 4-5 years - very tactical and great discipline, yet very often just as entertaining as the Brazilan games. Class is beyond dispute. Many also seem to forget that the FIFA Rankings are based on good stats, and Colombia was in the top 10 for over a year, reaching at some point top 5. The comeback in Baranquilla against Chile in the qualifiers, being 3-0 down at HT was one of the most impressive games I watched this year. A relatively easy group in the WC which saw Colombia through was just as easy for Brazil. Suarez or no Suarez, the game vs Uruguay was won with no doubt, and it was the Colombians who were setting the pace at 90% of the game, despite the final push from Cavani & Co. Most important - the Colombians have a lot less to lose in this game, no one at home will blame the team for losing against Brazil, no shame in losing to Brazil (to any team in the world) while the home side will be figuratively crucified if knocked out. This is the best chance for Colombia to do something huge, and make history, against the Big Boys in football, who, unfortunately in this WC so far do not impress at all. Colombia has the spirit and mentality, plus the skill to win this game. From a betting point of view though going against the home team who have been setting the pace of the world's football for many generations is risky to me. Good luck with your bets, I see much more reasons to risk my money in the Argentina-Switzeralnd game...This one is to enjoy IMO.

  16. Re: Group A: Cameroon vs Brazil > Mon 23rd June

I have to totally agree with this. Brazil have played poor in both matches for their standards and therefore there is no way they can be complacent and arrogant enough to think they can put out a weakened side. Yes I think once they are 2 goals clear (minimum) in the game then they may start bringing the likes of Neymar off early but he will definitely start the game as everyone in the world knows as much as Big Phill that the donkey that is Fred cannot be trusted to do the job.
Speaking of donkeys like Fred, I can add a few more who IMO have no clue why are they in this squad. I am far from impressed with what Brazil are showing so far, the team is light years away from that magic flair team in Japan and South Korea, it reminds me more of the boring Brazil squad from 1994 - they still won it, with a bit of a ''push'' here are there, with a bit of luck, and with great focus in defence...yet it wasn't Brazil as we all want to watch. Neither is this Brazilian squad... so far. I think they are not just under a great stress because of the nation's expectations, they lack that dominant quality which made them world's best since the beginning. And they are riding the wave of luck, as two very dangerous European sides in all tournaments either had the wrong ''chemicals'' or their physical preparation was totally messed up - Italy (with a tough game coming) and Spain (already out). Argentina, Colombia, Chile, France, Holland - any of these teams can give Brazil hard time - they all have massive quality, motivation is just as high as everyone else's, and none of these teams is worse than Mexico and Croatia, who made Brazil sweat, and both teams could have taken more from their games against Brazil. I am not mentioning Germany here, first beacuse I need to see them through, and second - the gaps at the back look scary to me. At least physically though Germany can go through two World Cups with no break. Plus they are always a strong tournament team... Teams change after the group stage, but I can't see where the quality change in Brazil will come from. FIFA will make their best to push Brazil to the final 4, but at the current odds for the title I wouldn't put even EUR 50,00 on Brazil to win it, as I see at least 3 teams level with them. As of tonight's game I agree with the posts above, home team should win comfortably against one of the worst teams in this WC, but the tough times are coming soon to Brazil IMO. In-play for me, as I can't make up my mind which way to go - Brazil -2AH, or Over 3 goals... GL all
  17. Re: Brazil Serie A Thread 2014 I am already involved with some in-play with Palmeiras and Sport Recife...as of the late games two games are looking strange to me, and deserve attention. Strong as they look so far Sao Paolo never won at Atletico Paranaense in recent years, the hosts were really solid at home last year, on a couple of occasions turning losing games into winners. The game looks very overish to me, and the hosts should be backed on the AH...Unless some teams news are justifying Sao Paolo being strong favourites in this game? Anyone? Goias to win looks a solid bet to me, the hosts are never spectacular, with no big names ''shinning'', yet had a great season last year and a good start this one. Going to Goiania is never easy to anyone... Elsewhere Over 3 Goals for me in Porto Alegre with Internacional, just a gut feeling for many goals there... GL all

  18. Re: Europa League > Thursday March 20th

I 'politely' disagree :). Just because something is unpredictable doesn't mean you shouldn't bet on it, you just have to better than most of the market at judging the odds and finding good value bets. The other day, I heard a recording of a radio interview with a professional horse racing gambler - Patrick Veitch. He said the key wasn't finding winners, it was finding horses which were "most underestimated". The interview is at about 21m 45 here ... http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00jwpd4
Sounds good, but another important thing is that somehow most of us got carried away a bit the the great games this talented team produced earlier in the competition ( RB Salzburg ), and many of us forgot what trouble Basel were to bigger clubs - Spurs, not to mention Chelsea on more than one ocassion, and that - after selling their top player from last season. We also forgot that Basel had important missings vs Salzburg in the first leg, never mind the defenders - a powerful forward like Streller had great influence on the game today. Personally I am disappointed - I avoided a loss today with them simply as my bet was on goals, but I really enjoyed much of what I have seen from Salzburg in the past 2 seasons, and I wanted to see them through. Hats off to Basel for the good game, hopefully more luck ( possibly in CL ) to Salzburg next year...
