The EPL season is nearly upon us - time to resurrect this system.... perhaps.
At the end of last season, I came up with an "excuse" for the dramatic down-turn in fortunes over the last 6 rounds of matches, based on previous experience with other systems.
On the same tack, my old systems used to ignore the first 6 rounds of games, on the basis that you tend to get unusual results at the beginning of a season (how many times has a promoted club found themselves near the top of the table, only for results to tail-off after a few games?).
So, I think I will play safe, and only re-start the system on approximately 29 September - I hope you can wait
Of course, all this assumes that BBC will continue to publish SAM's predictions

Good luck, JTW - I remember somebody once saying "keep systems simple"
Your new trial does seem to be a bit contradictory - the main theme of your thread is BTTS - and yet you are betting on scores that are not BTTS
-
Going well, JTW.
Clever... sneaking in a couple of "BTTS - NO", but still successful
-
Good to see you back, JTW.
Good luck with this trial. I always go for "value" - so, at 70% probability, any odds over 1.43 represent good value.
-
Not sure this is a "system" - look at the governing rules for this particular forum:

Good luck with finding volunteers. One of the reasons there haven't been any takers could be down to the leagues that you are focussing on - MLS and Scandinavian leagues. You want people to give performance scores for teams that very few people have any knowledge of.
You may be better to wait until the start of next season and concentrate on the European "big" leagues.
-
First the bad news: the system has gone into negative territory - 124 bets - ROI (minus) 1%
And the good news: with my previous systems (Grex's HOMES etc.), I discovered that performance regularly tailed-off towards the end of the season. This could be due to teams in relegation battles suddenly overturning the form book - example, West Brom over the past four games.
I used to stop the systems with 6 rounds to go. And guess when the downward spiral started... at round 32 when the ROI was 16%. So, I will gracefully stop the system now, and wait until next season.
GOOD LUCK FOR YOUR NATIONAL TEAM IN THE WORLD CUP

I am absolutely brimming with confidence about this weekend's selections (sarcasm)
-
It goes from bad to worse. The graph below shows the recent demise of the system
-
Let's hope for a turn around in fortunes
-
I know.... a bit late.... but one for this evening.
-
Surprisingly, BBC has published mid-week SAM predictions.
-
Another negative weekend ..... 110 bets - ROI + 7%
Congratulations to Manchester City...... we will be waiting for you next season
-
Just the one selection for Sunday.... Arsenal.
-
After last weekend's debacle, it can only get better..... can't it ? (I will leave Sunday's selections until later)
-
A weekend to forget..... apart from United's amazing come-back against Citeh (also a losing bet)
Premier League: 104 bets...... + 8% ROI.
-
Six selections for this weekend.....
-
A good weekend..... Premier League: 98 bets...... + 15% ROI.
-
After the international break, this weekend's selections.....
-
A small profit..... and the 12% ROI is maintained.
Premier League: 91 bets...... + 12% ROI.
-
Loads of selections for this weekend...... some of them a bit scary
-
It looks as though BBC is not going to publish the SAM predictions for the Palace-United game, so I post below the weekend's results.
(mental note) NEVER select Arsenal again . BTW, SAM actually got three correct scores this weekend
Premier League: 84 bets...... + 13% ROI.
-
No joy with Thursday's "X" - hardly surprising.
Four for Saturday / Sunday.....

Welcome back !
For the first selection, did you mean Sheff Wed v Stoke or Swansea v Forest? (I should go for the first option )
