Re: Copa Libertadores (23/26/02) Anyone know anything about Once Caldas? I know that with Robinho in the Sao Paolo ranks they must have a chance and odds at 2.5 for them seems pretty interesting. Are Sao Paolo poor away from home in this competition hence the good odds or are the home team pretty decent and what time is actual kick off? Many thanks

Re: UEFA Europa Leauge 23-25 February
I hope you are wrong for my sake!! Don't forget that Salzburg are at home and Liege nowhere near as good as Lazio. Should be a good game and have not bet huge stakes as it is not that easy a game to call!Little surprised on most jumping on Salzburg. They have been great in this tourny but I saw them @The Olimpico vs Lazio and they were very fortunate to claim points let alone win, Lazio dominated the match and gave up 2 fluke goals late one was just an awful mistake in injury time. Lazio outplayed them in Salzburg but the ref turned a blind eye to a penalty shout by Lazio and while the Lazio players were complaining Salzburg countered to break 0-0 tie. Standard have been impressive from what I've seen in the CL and are on par IMO with Salzburg, if not slightly better. Salzburg really struggled with Foggia the tricky Lazio winger, Standard have a similar player in Witsel who scored 2 goals in 1st leg. I'll go with Standard +0.5, as I see them scoring and putting the pressure on Slazburg. -
Re: UEFA Europa Leauge 23-25 February sorry for late picks - Bet 1 - Wolfsberg straight win. very dangerous at home and Villareal poor away from home and will miss Cazorla greatly and if Rossi is missing as well that will be a massive blow. Dzeko very dangerous and I will be betting for the home win but small stakes. pays 21/20 with bet365 Shakhtar/Salzburg home win double. When did Fulham last play on a plastic pitch in very cold temperatures? Decent at home but think they will regret conceding the away goal in the last game. I see this as a huge home advantage. Salzburg solid at home and Liege have had a poor season by their standards. pays 1.45 with bet365 Juventus/Marseilles home double - Cannot see Juve letting their advantage slip. Can see them scoring then shutting up shop knowing Ajax will need to score 2 goals. Without goal machine Suarez I expect them to struggle. Juve have no chance to win serie A so will be keen to win this competition. Marseilles easily dispatched Copenhagon away from home and although they have a big game at the weekend I don't see the visitors playing away believing that they will score 3 goals to either win the tie or take it to extra time. pays 1.71 with bet 365 GL to all who bet :hope

Re: Champions League 24th of February
I can see goals in the CSKA and Seville game as well. CSKA will see the home leg as being extremely important and will go for goals and Seville will fancy their chances at home especially if they grab an away goal. Have also backed both teams to score so good luck to us both :hopeCSKA - Seville Have watched both of these teams quite a bit recently and have actually been more impressed with the home side, albeit in their freindly games. I think they should have enough to secure a result here tonight against a Seville team without Capel and Luis Fabiano. The break might mean a bit of rustiness and with a relatively poor defense it wouldn't surprise me to see Seville get an away goal either. CSKA @ 9/5 Both teams to score @ evens Inter - Chelsea It's vital not to underestimate how much this means to both managers. I can see the tie being decided in the return leg but Jose will certainly want to get something out of this one and get one over his old employers. With Chelsea's issues at left back, I can see the home side scraping this one. Tight game mind. Inter @ 7/4 -
Re: Rugby - 6 Nations Have had a good read of the posts and have decided on the following selection Wles win, France win and England -8.5 handicap as a treble which pays 1.33 at bet365. Fingers crossed everyone. Don't follow rugby much but will be doing this weekend with money riding on it ;)

Re: Rugby - 6 Nations Thanks for the reply wumpking, I will play it safe and go for the straight treble so the winning margins are not an issue. Good luck with your bets
-
Re: Rugby - 6 Nations Actually I tell a lie and found the odds. What is your opinion on the following bet Wumpking. England minus 8 handicap, and straight wins for France and Wales pays odds 1.54. I think that has a decent chance Thanks
-
Re: Rugby - 6 Nations Good info thanks Wumpking. No odds that I can find yet on bet365. It appears that the Wales, England, France treble would be the call with the latter being the most tight game. I don't really follow rugby but Guscutt was really praising the French forwards saying that Scotland could not cope with them and that Ireland had a really poor record in Paris. Should be able to get evens at least for that treble given that I reckon the bookies with make France favourites but not massive favourites. That way the handicaps don't matter. Would rather bet on certainties (if there is such a thing) and win at lower odds more often

Re: Africa » MTN Africa Cup of Nations (10-31 jan 2010) Any thoughts on the Zambia v Nigeria game tonight chaps as the Egypt Cameroon one looks to close to call. My heaqd says Nigeria but I don't know enough about Zambia so any news on team selevtions etc would be helpful

Re: Iceland, 25th of June. Hi Kimera, any words of Wisdom for these fixtures? I quite fancy a Keflavik/KR Reykjavik -1ah double which pays around 2.3. What do you think the chances are? thanks
-
Re: Norway, Midweek, 23-25th of June. Thanks for the quality reviews Kimera. Makes my -1 home win for Valarenga look good and i do fancy odd however their head to head reading against their opponents causes me some concern having lost to them on the last 3 games. The same applies to start who have also lost the last 3 times against tonights opponents, good luck with the bets everyone.

Re: Norway, Midweek, 23-25th of June. Valarenga got a great head to head record v Bodo so looking at a -1 ah double with Turku from Finland which pays 1.78 which would be a nice return. Fancy Rosenborg but their run has to end soon so not prepared to chuck them into a treble

Re: Norway, Midweek, 23-25th of June.
Not even close eh with 5 goals scored:cryI note that the last 2 times they play Notodden won 1 nil so I have gone for under 2.5 goals at 2.25 with bet 365. I hope the missing players for the away team do not mean they get thrashed. A 1-0 or 2-0 nil win for Notodden would be good for us all. Good luck guys :hope -
Re: Finland, 24th of June. TPS look a great bet and I am considering a -1 AH. i don't know thw first thing about this league but having studied the form and previous head to head it looks a decent bet.

Re: Finland, 17th of June.
Nice little win and also won with over 10 corners in the Tampere game as well although the 11th one only came in injury time and had me sweating a little! :nana:beerNow I am stuck which teams to back looking at both arguements so I have split the difference. I am doing a double of Tampere -1AH and a VPS win which offers 1.59 at Bet365. Fingers crossed everybody :hope -
Re: Finland, 17th of June.
Tampere 1 up at the mo, and VPS up as well, so far so good, come on boysNow I am stuck which teams to back looking at both arguements so I have split the difference. I am doing a double of Tampere -1AH and a VPS win which offers 1.59 at Bet365. Fingers crossed everybody :hope -
Re: Finland, 17th of June.
Not the start you were hoping for then - at least they have 83 mins to turn it aroundTP-47 are going from bad to worse and I think they will be the same punching bag today and after today. 1 draw and 7 losses in 8 rounds, just 1 goal scored (in 1-5 defeat, haha), lost all away games with big margin... The few foreign players are leaving the team - Sergey Labodovskiy and Irakli Tsykolia already gone, Karim Izrailov also packing his bag after this game... Kemi aren't anything special but they do quite well these days, won 4-0 and 4-1 last 2 games and I don't see any reason to slip against TP-47 -
Re: Russia - Premier League 13-14.06 you guys are crazy betting on the russian league using logic. May as well toss a coin as it is a truly dodgy league with back handers being given out all over the place. Few of the players love the clubs they play for and the foreigners are too afraid to say anything. I would not bet a measely quid on any of the games. Premier league and La liga may be more difficult to call but at least its honest. To those of you that do bet on these games, the very best of luck to you - you need it!!

Re: World Cup 2010 ( 28-29 march ) Two bets for me today after much deliberation!!! Having read some posts thought I had my bets sorted but then some persuasive arguements the other way helped to change my mind! Holland to win to nil 1.8 Bet365 - I can see Scotland playing with 1 up front and to play a containing game to see if they can nick a goal on the break thus I can't see much attacking emphasis from the Scots. Holland ooze quality so I can't see them failing to score in 90 minutes. If that bet comes in Mexico and USA (who play tomorrow in the early hours) double pays about 2.61 bet365 or if you are brave throw Brazil in for a 3/1 shot. Mexico and USA have very winnable games, Brazil have not been that convincing of late but should have the quality to pull through. Good luck to everybody :ok

Re: Champions League Wed 12th Dec Teams needing something tonight are Fenerbache and Seville. Plus Barca should be too strong for a Stuttgart side that cannot even qualify for the UEFA cup. Barca/Fenerbache plus Seville double chance pays 1.11 (what you get back for each £1 you put on!) so I will be having a nibble on that from last nights winnings. GL everyone :hope

Re: UEFA Cup 6th December As with quite a few others I fancy Red Star to turn over Bolton. Wins for Red star of 2-0 and 2-1 are both priced at very reasonable odds of 15/2 on bet365. Draw - Red star is 4/1 and HT/FT Red star is 5/2 Good luck everyone
